Avoid at all costs
I booked a taxi to take me to the airport. When the taxi didn't show up I called to enquire when it would be there. I was told there would be no taxi as they didn't have any drivers available, and that it was my fault for assuming a booked taxi would actually show up. I missed my flight as a result as I was in a quiet town and no other companies could get there in time (which is why I made the booking the day before). I've since looked into how 13cabs operate their business and they don't claim to have any obligation to actually fulfil a bookin...g, and actually refer to bookings as "requests", although the language at the time of the booking indicated it was just that, a booking. Do not trust them, I'm actually astounded at how little regard they actually have for their customers.
Supervisors yelling and screaming in the background
Phoning for a cab could hear female voice screeching and yelling. "She's our supervisor... " came the reply from the operator, I phoned for a cab and could hear a woman's voice in the background screeching and squawking. The reply came from operator who apologized for her (supervisors) unprofessional and embarrassing behavior ...
I have no doubts your supervisor responsible has been working there for many, many years as no other employers would accept her behavior. So yellow cabs is where she stays... Never to be educated.
Rude to their drivers as well
There operators are very unprofessional, they just find a reason to punish.I requested for cover job which was like 15km away and I asked the operator that it is that far so I don't want to do that job and she gave me 30minutes penalty. On asking her the reason she said "Recall" means Penalty and she hunged up the phone.
This has happened to several times and they behave like robots. They are racist, uneducated and don't use their common sense.
This company have the worst employees and most of them are psycho and they enjoy wasting people time.
Nearly got scammed and rude (Number Plate 753 Adelaide)
I am writing this review to express my disappointment and potential scam from a driver (Number Plate: 753 in Adelaide). First and foremost a response from my greeting would be respectful, but instead he ignored. Mentioned the address as to where I wish to be dropped off, no response or reply .Thought it was odd and maybe due to the CONVID-19, he wanted to keep his distance for safety? When I was dropped off to the address, he quickly stopped the machine in order for me to not view the cost (From memory I saw $18.00 from the machine). I told him...I was paying in cash, he said the total trip was $32.00 (Was unusual how the cost jumped from $18 to $32 within a few minutes). He didn't have change. I said I will pay through card. He then charged me $23.00. I nearly got scammed and this is very unprofessional. Unhappy with the service and please review this feedback with the driver before it happens to anyone else!
Worst taxi service ever!!! Do not book with this taxi company! Save yourself time, money and sanity!
I don't normally post bad reviews but this by far is the absolutely worst taxi company I've ever dealt with! Waited 1.5 hrs without even a courtesy call that no one is coming to pick me up. Booked 3 different times, 6 times of calling them back and they keep saying it's coming to my location. My from and to destination is only in box hill area. Just absolutely unreal! Unbelievable! Save yourself some sanity, money and time. Not gonna deal with this company! Ever!
Left stranded late at night
I called a taxi from the taxi rank at Laverton railway station late on a Sunday night. I clearly explained where I was and it is where all taxis line up. After waiting for quite a long time I saw a taxi go past on the main road but not turn in to the rank and kept driving. I called and was advised the driver reported I wasn't there. I again clearly explained where I was and waited for another one. I received a text your taxi is now approaching...I waited on the main road so the driver could clearly see me. I saw the taxi up ahead and suddenly i...t turned up ahead at the roundabout and head towards the freeway. I again called and was told driver didn't find me and was advised that "maybe some of the drivers don't know where the taxi area is" I ended up walking home!
Just saw M7403 littering on Smith st
Opened his door, dropped rubbish on the floor and closed it again like it was nothing. There's a bin 5 metres away. What a poor company that can't teach it's drivers simple decent behaviour. This was today, 7:28am on 14/03/2020 Fitzroy.
Faultless service in Brisbane
Within 5 minutes of booking a cab at 10.50pm, the cab had arrived at the station - the operator said she would prioritise me due to being a single female at a train station late at night. The car was extremely comfortable, the driver very courteous and he drove in a capable manner that put me at ease. He willingly accepted guidance on the route as we neared my home. This is a second such experience in Brisbane. Happy customer.
Taxi didn’t turn up
I booked a taxi to go from Sawtell to the airport at 5:15am. Had a confirmation with booking reference number. Taxi didn’t turn up by 5:25am so I rang and they said no one had accepted the job but they’d send one now. One was coming and then changed their mind! I’d have missed my flight accept that I was able to wake a friend to take me.
When I rang them to complain they said they were a booking service and couldn’t guarantee a pick up. Not sure what you are supposed to do at 5:15am if you can’t be sure a cab will turn up?
The worst cab company..... no company I’ve ever dealt with. Horrible... should not be aloud to operate as a company...
2 hours after booked pickup was meant to happen, we were told by a “manager” that there were no cabs available and to call another company.
That’s after being hung up on twice after trying to find out what was happening... should not have a licence to operate.
Rude driver provides the worst service - Never ever use 13cabs anymore
I was travelling in the city at one night, my destiny is UTS brown building. I told the driver, that building is landmark, I think everyone knows it. That rude driver told me “you should tell me the street and number,” how do I know the address?! In the city, some landmark building taxi driver should know the address. Stupid driver told me he knows city well, but he don’t know the UTS brown building. He’s keep complaining me not know the address. I was so angry, asked him stop saying any words. I told him you waste my time and my money, he talk back to me you waste my time. What a rude and stupid taxi driver! 13 cabs bye bye forever!

I was very happy with the service I received from 13 cabs!!! The person on the phone was amazing, they were lovely and professional. Even the driver I got was lovely as well, very nice to talk to and knew exactly where he was going. Couldn't fault this service if I could.
Avoid at all costs
I left my backpack in the taxi and when I rang the lost property section they said there was no record of my journey.
Luckily I had booked via the app. When confronted with this information they eventually located the driver who dropped the backpack at a police station over an hour away from where I lived (and he had dropped me), by which time it had been entirely divested of its contents. 13 Cabs stated that drivers are independent contractors and they accept no responsibility for their conduct.
Avoid using at all costs.
Late again over an hour 20 minutes late.
We have maxi cab book on perment base every Tuesday at 2pm for my client, today cab turn up at 3.20pm. Between 2.15 and 3pm I call 13cab a number of times and just got the run around, first they told me cab was book for 3pm on perment base. I inform them it has always been at 2pm so I have no idea were that came from. If it was book at 3pm how come it didn't get there till 3.20pm. That call centre has no idea what's going on. This isn't the first this has happened either.
Can didn’t show up
I called and pre booked a maxi cab to transport a group of us to a wedding. When booking it I stressed that it had to pick us up at 2pm so we would get there on time. At ten past two I called 13 cabs as the cab hadn’t shown up yet and they told me that they were unable to find a maxi cab for me. I was very disappointed that they didn’t bother calling in advance to let me know that they couldn’t find a cab so I could arrange other transportation. I was told that it wasn’t there problem and there was nothing they could do about it. I will never use this service again. Glad Uber is more reliable!
Questions & Answers
Customers booking taxis when Uber is not available. But if they notice Uber is available, they dance the taxi booking and jump on to Uber. Do you have any future plan to sort out this problem. If you have how long it will take . Please do something otherwise all our driver's suffering. Any ideas?
