Good for the money
A little noisy but simple and priced right and seems to wash as well as my past and much more expensive machines. Maybe not many bells and whistles but fine for a single person.
Appliances online also install, and take away old machine and packaging. Also with a delivery time to suit you.
Purchased in August 2021 at Appliances Online.

Top loader
Works amazing, had three front loader washing machines before this and could not get the things level.
Things ended up stuffed.
This replacement has now lasted longer then all three front loaders.
Works well cleans cloths well, only complaint would be that the lint held in the machine is a lot more then it used to be, however airing out cloths/wind helps with that.
Purchased in December 2021.

Very good, inexpensive machine
Just bought this, to replace a very short lived front loader, after realising I had buckleys chance of finding a decent twin tub. It was quite cheap (JB HiFi) so ticked that particular box. Runs very well and super quiet (it also doesn't shake the building during spin cycle.) It's quite basic and I'm still trying to work out when to add fabric softener (when countdown is around 8 mins... I think) but it only uses 13 litres more than our prev. front loader which is terrific. Could benefit from a clear lid to check water levels or soap. Also could benefit from place to put fab soft should you wish to go out while the load runs. Thus far very happy with it. Running on tank water with davey pump.

Good washing Machine
Recently purchased the 6KG washing machine, it was really light so easy to install and has been doing a great job so far! Was a cheap machine and i would recommend using it. It is also really quiet so a nice change from my last machine. Only negative thing i would say is the self closing lid is quite slow.

Love this item
I love this machine especially when washing bed linen and queen size sheets. With having no agitator in the middle nothing gets all wrinkled up or caught in the agitator. I can completely recommend this do not be put off by a name as I'm 63 years old and I have had plenty of washing machines in total. For price unbeatable

Ok for small family
I bought this machine when my 10 year old machine died, I didn't want to spend a lot and got a good deal on this machine by purchasing online. It is much smaller than my old small but suitable for a 3 person family. I have had it for 3 months and it runs okay, it is however EXTREMELY loud when running and I couldn't run a load around my child's nap time or at night as it is far too noisy even with the laundry door closed.

Worst washing machine I have ever had
Washing machine unbalances easily so you need to be there to redistribute clothes. It has taken nearly 2 hours to do one load of washing. I cannot leave and do something else. I have had a twin tub years ago and that was better than this machine. Do yourself a favor and don't bother with this one. It is looking good for the tip as I wouldn't sell on to anyone. Waste of money.

Very disappointing
I purchased this machine just under a year ago mostly because of it’s compact size, I’ve only ever had twin tubs & this was my first top loader. From the beginning on normal cycle if you select max load the numbers on the digital screen are back to front & upside down it will just stop mid cycle, I can’t use the delicate cycle as the rinse cycle just keeps repeating itself I’ve never used so much water. The computer boards have been replaced but same problem is occurring. Technician is coming again next week but he doesn’t seem to believe me. This machine is rough as on clothes & spin cycle leaves them terribly crushed.

Haier Top Loader 6 kg
Bought this top loader nearly 3 months ago after an excellent run with a Haier front loader machine that served us well for many years. However, this machine continually and consistently unbalances, no matter what size load is in there, every wash will unbalance on the spin cycle, often beeping and showing error messages up to six times or more per load! Each time I have to re-distribute the clothes in the tub and start it again. It is evenly placed on the floor, level as can be, checked with a spirit level many times. Frustrating and time-con...Read more
suming! Also, nowhere to put fabric softener. I bought this as an upgrade to a 6kg machine so I could do larger loads, but it cannot handle even one queen size cotton sheet without errors and unbalancing several times per spin cycle. My old 5.5 kg machine did a much better job. I would not recommend this machine, very disappointing. I have even given up on some loads, removed the washed items, rinsed and wrung them out by hand and hung them out to dry. Possibly I just got a lemon. Excuse me, I have to go, the machine is beeping again!!!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Nice Machine Cleans Well
I am very impressed so far with this Haier washer. Its my first time buying anything from them but they have been around for a while now. It is very quiet running and does a very good job. The clothes come out feeling very well cleaned and properly rinsed too. It's quite simple to use with just a few wash options but it runs quietly and only makes a lot of noise if you get an unbalanced load (alarm). Overall I am more than happy with it - now lets see how well it does in the longevity stakes!

Impressed so far!!
So far, I'm impressed with this little washing machine. It washes well and QUICKLY! Yes, it doesn't have all the fancy options you'd get with a fisher and paykel but you don't really need it. It's fairly quiet and washes very well. As expected with a 6kg, you can't fit what you'd normally like with an 8kg so it's all about portion size and dividing it out properly. Make sure you put a decent amount of clothes in there as it does tend to show an error as the clothes aren't balanced properly and will stop and beep! If you're looking for a cheap washing machine that does the job, then you won't be disappointed with this guy :-)

Great budget pruduct
This little machine does a great job of keeping whites white and colors bright. The spin cycle is super powerful rendering satin almost completely dry. Does not seem to wear my clothes out but it is definitely a loud machine. If you've got a sleeping baby it's not the washer for you.

Clean Clothes, but slightly inconsistent timer
My Haier washing machine is great, offering really solid value for money overall. It cleans and rinses my clothes very well, leaving me with fresh laundry every time. I often use the 'quick' function for speed and find that this works extremely well. Although, the timer on the machine is inconsistent, displaying a 10 minute wash time but taking closer to 15-20. The machine can be rather loud, but it is housed in a European-style laundry so this may be a major factor. Overall, I find this to be a very good value purchase, especially for young people like myself.

1 year so far and no problem at all. Clean laundry.
When I bought it, I had my reservations, because the machine we had before (and died on us) had direct drive, and I liked that.
However, the Haier is a good-looking top-loader (I miss the see-through glass at the top a bit, which the LG had, but that's OK).
It cleans very well, rinses also very well, is quiet (not that it matters).
I like the design of the water being pumped around while washing to that effect that the lint filter fills up with lint and dirt quite well.
We bought is pretty much 1 year ago - it's still as new.
The top-lid...Read more

Tangles clothes, wears them out, and unbalances easily
You get what you pay for with this one. Our clothes have aged a lot in the past 6 months that we have had this washing machine. The worst part is, unless your clothes are very carefully ordered from heaviest to lightest as you put them into the machine, it has a tendency to go "walking" - where the drum hits against the side of the machine as it goes into the spin cycle and then the entire washing machine shudders around the laundry. Quite dangerous and defeats the purpose of having a machine to wash your clothes if you have to supervise it all the time!
Would avoid!

Good small washing machine,
Not a bad washing machine. Sometimes struggles with uneven loads if you have more than a couple of towels in it. Easy to use. Good size. Love that it doesn't have the agitator so you can get the most out of the space. The machine itself is also a really great size, we live in a small unit so taking up as little space as possible is a bonus!

Good enough for simple washes.
This is a washing machine for small washes.
It washes clothes surprisingly well, given the fact that it doesn't have a central agitator, so the clothes only rub against each other.
This causes that sometimes, after the spin, the clothes are mangled one into another and they have to be pulled apart.
One fault is that it doesn't have a softener dispenser. Instead it has a soap dispenser, so I keep forgetting and putting the soap powder directly onto the clothes as usual, then attempt to add the softener only to remember that I can't, and that...Read more

Energy efficient!
I have a messy one year old and even using the shortest cycle washes his clothes amazingly!!! We used fabric softener also and the clothes come out smelling beautiful and the machine is so quiet!! Easy to empty lint filters and I can fit a king size doona in no problems because there is no agitator! Love love love it!!!!

Where can you put the fabric softener?

Haier recommendations say NO fabric softener at all, that’s why there is no dispenser.
I would just lift the lid and put the softener in manually in the rinse cycle. Did I mention I HATE this washing machine!
