A Table for Six Questions & Answers

Hi Nicky,
I have been a member for 3 months, and I like ‘ A table for 6 ‘ .
The joining cost is $ 300, but the organiser is flexible how you pay it . Usually there is a small fee to book to go to a dinner, $ 35.,
I like the way the dinners are organised, they are either in the city, or not far from the city . I am going to a dinner tonight in Glebe.
The dinners are arranged in age ranges, 30 - 40, 40 - 50, 45 - 55 etc .
You receive a message the day before inviting you to a dinner .
I find the service organised with sensitivity and respect.
I have been to 2 dinners so far, and they have been very enjoyable .
I am looking forward to my dinner tonight with AT46.

Hi Linda. Yes I heard that also. But I have found that it was largely due to perhaps unfounded expectations. I would recommend that you contact Margaret and discuss your concerns with her direct.

Absolutely terrible Linda. Try City Swoon or elsewhere, that actually make an effort to match you with like minded people. AT46 tell you they do this at sign up time, but then once they have you cash, there is no effort, upon enquiring as to how they match people up together, I never received a response. It's a scam. Stay clear.

I have been to one dinner with Dinner for Six just before the COVID 19 shutdown and I found it a very positive experience where I had dinner with three interesting men and another lady. It was friendly and upbeat and low pressure. I think how you will feel about it will depend on your attitude. I was happy to travel to most parts of Sydney and was flexible and let Margaret know that when I spoke to her. I was also just happy to enjoy a nice dinner with other singles.

The trolls wouldn’t write such awful reviews if they got the opportunity to go out for dinner which is what they pay their membership for. Dinner with other diners is lovely, that is not the issue. The issue is paying membership to be included in dinners, which often doesn’t happen.

Totally agree with you Lois. I find it impossible to get invites to dinners and it’s frustrating and I feel ripped off. Constantly being overlooked when I know others are successful is soul destroying and it was a lot of money I spent for virtually zilch. The excuses are always the same. If there is a shortage of men stop taking innocent women’s money.

Hi Bel: In general I get into most dinner in my age group, but that seems to be with males as there do not seem to be many males compared with females. Don't know what age group you are in. But I do like the meet ups I have had with Table for six but not like the new web page Ian

I have had the same issues. I would suggest making a complaint with the ACCC

I would highly recommend not joining this company as they are a scam.

Thank you for your question.

Membership fees for our dinner introductions at the Gold Coast are $399 for a 14 month membership. Once we co-ordinate a suitable group for you at dinner, there is a booking fee of $33.00.

This company needs to be investigated by channel 9s A current Affair program or 60 minutes. If enough people register on their these websites a complaint with table for six ripping them off they will run a story for sure

I am a member not the company you will need to contact A Table for Six.

On their website there are dinners listed in the age group bracket 45 - 55 and 60 - 70. So yes, it looks like they can cater for you. There are also cocktail parties available that are open age group.
