I had the same problem but not on a nice smooth surface and I'm in my seventies,so when we got back home to bundaberg I went to see David at Casey's rv,and asked him if it was possible to mount the spare on the back of the vehicle and yes it sure was,so mine is now on the back of the motorhome and so easy to get at,so don't know where you live but go into a caravan RV repair place and ask them to do it,lifes a lot easier

Thanks Terry.That was not my major issue.I already have a ladder .bike rack and outboard motor rack on the back, so no room for a spare tyre.
The major problem was removal of flat tyre & replacement of wheel onto hub. The motorhome plastic trim does not have adequate clearance to set wheel onto hub.

In the floor there is a cover with a pull handle, lift thaT cover out & you will find the fresh water tank,
If you need to drain / flush in the bottom of the tank is a small lever, you will need to lift to pull out the plug,
When you put it back in, make sure it is tight.if you are talking about the grey water tank, it's a good idea to get some tank cleaner into the tank and add water to allow it to slosh around to clean the probes, then empty outside somewhere.

Hi Alison it is better if you are reasonably level but dont have to be perfect,have you had the burner cleaned by a professional because that can cause you problems,I used to have problems with mine until I got the burner cleaned and had a extractor fan installed in the top vent and now never a problem.

Hi Terry, is that the gas burner in the fridge? Can you remember roughly how much that cost?

First thing to do is check that fridge is automatic mode, apart from that phone the manufacturer

Have you checked the main power switch to see if its tripped out in the cupboard below the wardrobe,and the switch for the microwave and fridge is in the cupboard on the left of the microwave

Would suggest that you contact Avan head office, my thoughts would be No as the screen door is an integral part of the main door, must admit a lockable door would be very beneficial.

Yes you can we had our original M5 C class motor home door and flimsy screen replaced in September this year with a 2 part door system that gives you that security screen door. We took our MH to Avan in Pakenham to have the door replaced they maybe able to do it at other locations. Contact the people at Pakenham for a quote ours was $1900. Plus we stayed in a cabin at the Pakenham caravan park for a couple of days while the door was being fitted.

You need to change the whole door. I did on my Ovation m9. They had to make to hole bigger. Organised through Avan Penrith. Complete RV did job $2,400 without decal

Make sure the pump is turned off then regulate the pressure by turning the tap on, do not over pressurise as this may fill your tank, other than that check your hose connections as i have notice they do come with an installed one way valve, if all does not work maybe check it out with Avan @ Pakenham you may have a blockage.

Very hard to fix yourself,try avan in campbelfield, they have the experience

"Try contacting a Jayco service centre" they have a similar drop down bed fitted, we had the same problem whist in Darwin in 2016 it's all to do with the chain tensioner it appears it has jumped a couple of cogs.

the cutoff switch as you call them - circuit breakers x2 in our 2018 M5 MH are located down the front of the front seat below the table.
one of these circuit breakers definitely supplies the power to the power points located in the cabinet above the fridge, which is were the microwave / fridge are plugged into.
the other supplies power to the rear section of the MH - hot water system, tv etc.

Info you may know, the tyre pressures on your M5 they recommend that they should be around 75 to 80 psi. you need to go to a tyre place - Bob Jane, Tyre Power etc. to have them checked as the petrol station tyre inflators do not go to that pressure. Plus the tyre places do them for you.

do you have a towbar on your MH as I sure you can purchase or at least have a one made a tyre stand for the rear of the MH that just slides into the tow bar fitting.

I have the m5 c & bought a twin tub machine from Aldi, it fits under the table, I believe Home R V have a similar unit.

We were able to remove the table but not able to attach the table to the bottom rail. This rail appeared to be installed upside down. Once we reinstalled the railing the table was able to slot into this rail when held on an angle.

Did you find an answer Anne - we have just purchased a M7 Avan ovation & having difficulty finding how to fit a tow bar
