I did my research on the product (Quick Step by ReadyFlor) and found that A 1 Flooring use only the premium version of this product whilst their main competitor in Adelaide (Choices Flooring) use a “Compact” version which has 25% less thickness in the veneer ( 3 mms instead of 4mms).
They then want to charge just as much or more for an inferior product! Don’t be fooled! Go with A 1 Flooring!

The guys were great. They gave good advice and our floor came up better than we expected. We had a few problem areas that we thought would be very challenging. They had a good attention to detail and we were very happy.

A1 Flooring have just completed a perfect restoration of the rather worn cork floor in my kitchen and breakfast room. The transformation of the area is quite miraculous and way beyond my expectation. The original floor was installed some 25 years ago and I assumed that it would have to be replaced. A1 checked the area carefully and to my surprise said that they they could restore the floor rather than replace it, saving me thousands of dollars!
The work was carried out quickly and efficiently by A1's highly skilled specialist Mark with a minimum of interruption.

The team at A1 Flooring were professional and very helpful at every point during the process of changing a large surface of tiled floor to a beautifully laid blackbutt floating floor. They were patient and informative in assisting in the selection of flooring. Once the choice was finalised the whole process of tile removal and installation of flooring took only three days with project management seamlessly completed.

We are more than delighted with our Tasmanian Myrtle Beech, installed by A1 about ten years ago. We have just had a maintenance resurfacing of the floor done by A1 and are still very impressed by their quality service and new high technology coating . The treatment undertaken was 3 coats of a 2 pack water based polyurethane after a very light sand just to take of the old varnish . This has come up beautifully in the semi-gloss . The A1 team and their products are highly recommended.
