Excellent service and attention to detail. We appreciated A1 Flooring's suggestions to prepare our original cork floor to make it suitable to lay the timber floating floor. The large area was completed in three days and the floor layer from A1 Flooring worked extremely hard and efficiently to achieve an excellent finished product. Any queries during the installation process were fully discussed and implemented. We are very pleased with the end result.

I engage A1 after another company I had been referred to had done a terrible job of some floor repairs....they were polite, professional, easy to work with and did a great job of fixing the stuff up from the previous guy...they sources some very hard to find used timber for a great match, did the job quickly and at a reasonable price....couldn't ask for more....I would thoroughly recommend them.

We have just had our timber floors in our whole house in Rose Park renovated, meaning one room had to be completely replaced and matching the rest of the house, others had some boards replaced, they have been sanded, resurfaced and varnished. On my first visit to A1 Flooring the person I saw was informative, friendly and knowledgeable he provided great customer service and was willing to cater to our out of the box needs. I then made a phone call and spoke to the same person who again was more than willing to help us in our slightly unique situation. Based on this great customer service we decided to take the plunge and go with A1. Had used A1 previously and expected the same service this time.
The jarrah floor is sanded irregularly which can be seen in the light and the grain is showing through what should be a smooth shiney finish - as if it was not sealed and sanded enough or needs another coat.
Someone did come out to have a look and presented excuses so I tried to contact the Director who has never returned my calls despite my calling a couple of times.

2 months ago I had a floating blackbutt floor laid by A1 Floors. I was impressed with the whole process. Their advice in choosing materials was helpful.. Everything was completed efficiently, quickly and on time as promised. They tidied up after so there was no mess. I am extremely happy with my new floor!

A1 Flooring did a fantastic job installing cork flooring into our new yoga studio at Beulah Park. They were very understanding and flexible when we had to change the installation date, more than once! The cork is perfect, warm underfoot and so easy clean, plus the look is so cool! A1 Flooring restored our old jarrah floors, including carpet removal, sanding and finishing.

When the carpet was removed, we discovered some patches of pine which A1 were able to replace with reclaimed jarrah to match existing. After sanding had been completed, Brad provided some samples of different finishes to consider in situ, which was fortunate as this resulted in us changing our original choice of finish. We had a tight deadline to move into the house, which A1 was able to accommodate.

We are very happy with the end result and with the service received from A1

We had our brand new jarrah floors polished and all looked ok until we moved in and the varnish started to peel off. A1 floors said it was our fault and that we must have done something to the floors. They would not fix the problem, were rude and denied there was a problem with the varnish/sealer. Had to get Adelaide Timber Floors in to completely sand back the board and take off all the varnish and start from scratch. All of which had to be paid for by us.
