Old aircon was 2002 dated, so this one leaves it for dead.

48 degrees outside & inside held at 25 when on cool low fan. But when just the main bedroom is zoned, the fan noise is very noticeable. So we don't use that zone on its own.

Purchased in December 2021 for $10,600.00.

Cool but noisy

published

We have had the unit for 9 years now and bought it primarily because it was Australian made (we found out later that the key component - the compressor - was made in Malaysia). Heating performance is good and it does a reasonable job cooling. However, the compressor is very noisy and the lights dim when it starts. It failed recently (circuit board and capacitors) and as the cost of repair is prohibitive we will get a new air conditioner and it is unlikely to be Actron.

Very Noisy and vibrates

I was very impressed with the sales pitch, and generally, I am very happy with the unit, but I can clearly hear it start up and it is unusable at night in the bedroom. If you are after a quiet unit, keep away from Actron Air, but if this is not a consideration, this is as good as it gets.

Couldn't survive without my ActronAir

published

Going into our 4th summer with our ActronAir ESP ducted system that hasn't missed a beat since it was installed. So pleased we choose an Australian made product that is reliable & delivers what the manufacturer advertises. Using the ESP mode really does make a difference to our power bill. The controller is very easy to use, you don't need a degree. What a savour in the heat & fantastic for the cold months. Well done ActronAir!
