Absolutely love this system!

I bought a house that already had the AdvantageAir system installed. I read many negative reviews and was very skeptical initially.

The system itself it awesome, but I do think installers don't give people the correct advice. Without the wireless thermostat sensors the system pretty much acts like a plain old boring aircon control.

What really brings this system into a league of its own is having the wireless thermostats installed. Since doing this we can set the individual temperature in each room. Love it!

Great Customer Service

Our system is nearly 5 years and we had problem with the screen. Called them last week, someone came in today, replace the screen with the latest one with no cost ( 5 years warranty) and helped us with the setting as well. Great customer service, really recommend it.

Good concept poor service

Great concept but if had it again I would just go with a simple switch system that I had at the old place. After sales service or lack thereof is what lead to the review. Save your money and put it into something else.

Avoid Myair

We got Myair as part of the house package. The wallmount was changed twice since 2018. With every big storm, we loose one. The silly thing is that the wallmount is our only way to turn the aircon on or off and control zones. No we are out of aircon until they come and fix it. This is harsh with extremely hot Brisbane.

Rubbish would not recommend and poor customer service. We are in a block of units and its been across the board rubbish service rubbish system. DO NOT BUY LUCKY WE ONLY RENT!

Unreliable app, drops out daily, installers won't respond to the complaint because there's nothing they can do, cannot use as promised, we've spent money on some thing that doesn't work as promised

Constant issues

Always have issues with the unit working from my app. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesnt. Currently having issues with it not syncing... its very frustrating, do not recommend at all!

Advantage Air

Our air conditioning was installed July 2018 with the Advantage Air My Air controller. We have had to have the control wall unit reaplaced a couple of times now (on the 3rd) and we are still having issues of going off line and also the unit turns itself on all the time. We are getting very concerned that the warranty is out in a month as this has not been a very good experience so for. Wish we didn't have this system and would never buy again. We are in Brisbane.

Unstable network, not forward compatible with software updates

We have Advantage Air 3 since last 4 years. The idea is great but the network connectivity is giving us a trouble. Although the main controller is connected via ethernet cable, there are many incidents where it is not connected to the network. We have to go through a series of try and error trouble shooting to fix it. Some time this make take a while. I am not convinced that it has the best network stability. I have raised it with Advantage Air Brisbane and will update my post upon receiving their advice.

City Cooling Brisbane have recently installed a Ducted System and an Advantage Air MyAir5 with thermostats controlling each room. We are so pleased with the outcome to finally have air conditioning. City Cooling came out and explained all options, we went for the MyAir5 and it’s life changing. We can also download other apps to the tablet controller....it’s such an amazing product, with a smooth and professional installation.

We have a Zone10e system. Never works. Always give AA44 error following a power outage. Unacceptable lead time to attend to issues. Arrogant staff. Staff think they are untouchables and not responsible for customers. Zone 10e is an awful system to have. Advantage air should be banned by authorities from selling this product to consumers anymore.

Remember, all advantage staff, what we pay for your system is hard earned money, wait till it is your turn.

Very impressed with our ducted air conditioner, had it installed June this year, works brilliantly. We have just had a small problem connecting to the app on our phone, We phoned the help line they couldn't fix but they were very helpful, within 24 hours Phil came to our house to fix the Problem under warranty, all perfect now, very impressed with the service. Highly recommend this company & product

It was a terrible thing to have

We were instructed to update the app because it had been playing up, which we promptly did but problems are still there, just different and worse! I don't know how much energy and money has been wasted from all those times it has failed to be turned off, or defaulting the temperature to 18 degrees!!! Requires us to constantly checking on it to make sure the damn aircon was actually TURNED OFF, or is still maintaining temperature. Worst. Rather have traditional remote controls.

Have had MyAir 5 installed for a couple of months now. Had to replace ducting so upgraded controller as well. Not had any problems at all to this point; and love the ability to operate the system remotely from phone or ipad. Can use controller to stream digital content through a bluetooth speaker, no probs. Kids even use it to watch youtube occasionally.

Excellent Service

We had an Advantage Air system installed in our new house build this year. Unfortunately the company that installed the system for us gave us no handover, no step through on how to use the system, no instruction manuals and never returned phone calls when we asked for assistance. Disappointed, we contacted Advantage Air directly in Sydney to explain our issues. Within two days we had their Brisbane rep and Sydney rep on our doorstep to explain the system (which is excellent!) and help finalise our set up. Wonderful product and wonderful service!!!!!!!!!

Google Home with MyPlace is awesome

I have had both air & lights installed in my home for approx 6 months, last friday i got an app update which added Google Home compatibility to my system :) Now i can control my system with my voice, THANK YOU!!!

Bought a house with a Gen III system installed which has never worked properly. Tracked this to a defective controller and two inoperative on wall wireless thermostats. None of this is supported by Advantage Air, there are no spares and they are not interested in partial system replacements. System doesn't work, AA don't care. Avoid.
