Aeratron A3

published

Bouhgt and installed 4 Aeratron Fans 3years ago,2 burnt out the electronics in the first month.
The originals and replacements have been excellent, quiet and move the air around.

We have had the bedroom Fan on for 6 months all the hot summer.
It has now developed noise within the DC Motor . So the 'Silent Fan' is no more.

My last experience with customer service was terrible as others have noted.
Now trying to source a motor. If not will replace with a different brand.

Purchased in August 2021 for $450.00.

Great looking fan - receiver issues not covered under warranty

published

This fan worked perfectly for two years and then the receiver broke. Called customer service however they advised that while the fan has three year warranty, the receiver only has one year warranty. So essentially a $450 fan ended up costing me $700 after buying the replacement part and having an electrician install. The fan looks great and works however would reconsider buying next time.
I questioned why there was only one year warranty on the receiver and the comment was that they don't find that it breaks often and if it does it is within the first year. If the risk of breaking is low after one year, why not cover the whole fan for three years?

Fantastic Fan

published

Had this fan for 18 months now and its performed brilliantly. Very quiet even on the highest setting and moves a lot of air. Well balanced and doesn't get the wobbles at high speeds. DC motor fans are supposedly more economic to run than 'normal' AC motor fans as they use less power. The Aeratron was a bit more expensive than similar DC fans but worth it for its effectiveness and quiet operation. It is so good that we've changed all our fans over to DC fans

Best fan ever

published

We have had probably a dozen ceiling fans over the years and this is by far the best! Extremely quiet I am a light sleeper and over fans have driven me insane. The airflow is much better than any others we have had. The person complaining about that should look at the size of her room they neef two fans, no fan will cover that area. Only had for 1 month so check how it goes over time.

Great fan - terrible customer service

published

We purchased 2 of these fans - they are extremely quiet and effective.
However one of the fans stopped working - and trying to engage the customer service team has been terrible - including having to sign a pre declaration for a $170 service call fee in the even that it's not the fan but the installation. Definitely would not purchase this brand again.
