I have been around for a while and this family owned company has superior customer service to any of the the large freight companies.
Much easier to deal with and they don't try to rip you off like Star Track, Toll, DHL etc.

Have used Air Road Direct for delivery of flat packed furniture.
So far, no issues with damaged items. Reliable pickup and delivery dates. Quick and friendly service when calling the team. Only negative is that they are a bit pricier than some other courier companies. If you send out enough stuff with them, you can get a discount.

I have been in distribution for over 30 years. You don't get this sort of customer service from others anymore, particularly large companies. When there is a problem they are friendly and easy to deal with. Try getting that from the big players.
Overall delivery service is excellent. Return freight can be a little slow at times but that is not a major issue for our company.
Would highly recommend for people who are sick of the stress of dealing with Star Track, Toll, TNT etc.

i have had to find a new courier after 20 years this company seems to be good. carry items that others don't and deliver them on time. SEE HOW THEY WORK

They were booked at 10am, I confirmed the day before as I had to also book specialist oven movers. They called at 9.30am and said they would be late between 11 and 11.30am. I called at 10.45 and they said they were on schedule. They didn’t turn up at 11.30, so I called them. He said he had to get back to me which was 30 minutes later and said the truck broke down and could not get to us until 3pm. Why couldn’t he have told me this at 10am, rather then lie. I asked them to compensate for the 2 men for 2 hours who waited, but they wouldn’t. I cancelled them and used another company who were on time and half the price.

I ordered a part Tuesday night from a business in Sydney and it was delivered as promised today to Mansfield Victoria

Package shipped from Sydney to Cairns 13th June and went back to Sydney from Brisbane on 16th (Cannot explain the reason). Package arrived in Cairns on the 25th June and note left by Driver with a mobile number. Tried contacting driver on the same day but no answer. Left a message. Calls the next day stating he cannot deliver and for me to give a time and come to the depot. As I am unavailable for the next 2 weeks he refuses to deliver. Reason for not contacting me the same day he goes home by 3 pm.

I have been in business for 35 years no one has ever come close to these guys look no further in logistics
my last delivery i called to get tracking before even picked up i received a call back to let me know exactly what time my parcel was getting picked up and it arrived overnight from north Brisbane to Sydney .one more thing when you call customer service there is no press 1 press 2 press nothing straight to customer service if you had a bad experience with this company then you blame your self for doing the wrong thing with information this company is the best.

Organised for Air Road Direct to pick up Queen size Bed and base plus large carton from St Ives NSW to Melbourne.I told them needed by Friday at latest.Driver went Tuesday but weather shocking in Sydney so said come back Thursday. Driver back Thursday afternoon, goods picked up and delivered to my house Friday afternoon in perfect condition. Great reasonable price. Will definately use again. Well done

My freight for Sydney was picked up Friday and still had not left Melbourne following Wednesday. Very poor service when contacted for information. Tracking on website didn't show anything.

Very helpful, email reply is almost instant.
Very completive prices, other company's wanted to charge nearly double to move some items (Plasma TV & Speakers) from MEL to BRIS.
The online quote & booking service is good, but one thing they could improve is being able to save your quote, as if you need to add more items or change something, and you close the window, you have to start all over again.

I have used them for a Roland 1200 printer cutter a Truck Gear Box a Truck Dash, a Big welder a v8 conversion for truck and not one time was my parcel untraceable and I knew where it was at every instance thank you guys Sarah Great Southern Towing :)
