I have found the blade is waring very fast am trying to find a replacement I live in a dry sandy environment think this is responsible for blade wear I only keep a small lawn area due to water shortages I found the cordless mower to be a real time-saver no fuel, no fuel mixing, no noise, no stupid pull starts this thing has its limitations sure but cuts grass could do with a little more power as it will cut out in heavy going but it's not designed to slash a paddock

Ferrex (ALDI) 2x20v cordless mower

published

Love this mower so much that I went back and bought one for my daughter. Firstly this is a lawnmower not a grass mower, don't let the grass get very long. I am on an acreage and bought it to do close to my house and around sheds etc. Works fine, 30+mts. run time, no fumes, no servicing, little noise. Only issue is the cutting width, but for my work it isn't much of an issue. After early misgivings my daughter loves it too..

Purchased in at ALDI for $229.

Nice unit very good value for money

published

Nice lightweight mower, easy to manoeuvre, cuts through long grass with ease. mowed an average size front lawn and still had about 40% power left in batteries. Very good value at $229.00.
Equiv. at Bunnings a lot more expensive.

Purchased in at ALDI for $229.

The Mowing Machine that mows clean. No fumes & not too much noise.

published

The mower is great. Best value for under $200. Cheaper than paying $200 for a twin battery pack elsewhere. I bought this combination pack consisting of a lawn mower & line trimmer. It came with 2 x 20 volt 2amp batteries. I didn’t expect too much from the mower & even less from the line trimmer. It’s turned out to be great.the mower runs for 25 to 30 minutes before the batteries need charging. Perfect time to make a cuppa while charging. The extra batteries I bought along with a separate charger were put in as the others were charging. This set helped me to complete my 800 square metre lawn in good time. No exhaust fumes or accompanying noise you get from petrol mowers. I now need to track down replacement blades before they become extinct.

Purchased in for $200.

Did not realise it came without charger and batteries. Can not obtain as Aldi do not have them in stock.

Batteries and charger do not appear to be available from Aldi. Tried different stores but apparently they do not stock them. It was a Christmas present and it can not be used. Any suggestions?

As I can not obtain batteries for the machine I bought in December I am unable to use it and Aldi have not been able to supply. So I can not be of assistance. Sorry!
