I have an ALDI 4-stroke 21" lawn mower with 675 Briggs&Stratton engine (Gardenline product # 49291, Model # 49291). Recently, when I try to use the self-propelled feature, the lawnmower wheels are locked and does not move forward or backward. Any idea about the problem? I can operate the lawnmower by pushing it manually forward where the wheels work ok. But as soon as I press the handle to engage the self-proplled feature the wheels become locked.

I have broken the handle at the base and am wanting to find a replacement one from someone

My self propelled mower is still working reasonably well, however the rear wheels are locking up intermittently when pushing the mower around when self propelled mode is not engaged. What would be causing this and would it be a problem in the drive unit or in the belt driving system? Thanks Terry
