Doesn't work at all
This vacuum cleaner does not work well at all. I returned it as quickly as I could. I wouldn't purchase vacuum cleaners from Aldi anymore. I will also be hesitant in purchasing any other products from there but at least they have a good returns policy. Doesn't suck anything up at all.

Do not buy!
Worst ninety dollars I've spent. Suction was decent for less than two months. Wish I could get a refund will most likely contact their support team and see if there is anything I can do. Power Cord is fairly short and is marked for maximum length but the marking rubs off very quickly. Please save your money

OK power but weak body
I was quite happy with this when I first used it but the "joy" wore off as I got used to it. Its not really cyclonic - it is just a big filter with a motor behind it and as the dust builds up it loses power so its best to empty it well before the full mark on the body. The dust bin is not all that strong and doesn't seal all that well. Its a "good enough" vacuum for $99 but not great

Reliable but inadequate performance
We replaced our old vacuum cleaner with the Aldi product in 2015. It gets used regularly and has never broken down. However its performance is below-par. We've actually gone back to the old vacuum (which we only replaced because we thought it had poor suction) to get a better clean. We're cleaning a 50:50 combination of hard floor and fairly short carpet, so we don't quite understand why the Aldi product doesn't get as good a clean as a product three times its age.
We wouldn't buy the Aldi vacuum again. Spend a bit more money and get something that performs better.
UPDATE - January 2020 - We have retired the Aldi vacuum cleaner due to poor suction. It still gets use for the car. We won't be buying another Aldi vacuum for the house.
Purchased in January 2021 for $99.00.

good
bought two years ago, still working good. just the wire couldn't get all back into the bottom of the machine but it's not a big deal for me. good strong suction, a little bit heavy especially when you have to lift it from one spot to another as sometimes the wheels stuck. l have a two bedroom apartment, carpet

good for money
l bought it last year to use on my two bedroom carpet. didn't expect too much because of its cheap price comparing to other big brands. but it was actually doing an amazing job. so far no issues at all. good suction, not making too loud noise. easy to clean up. recommend

Poor suction
At first this vacuum was ok.. it seemed to suck alot of the fur and everything else up out of the carpet. Over the years, this has got worse and suction is bad. Not to mention, when we first purchased it, the metal pipe which has the head attached to it use to zap us. I never felt safe using it. I don't recommend it to be a sturdy product with a long life

Love the Cyclonic Vacuum
Paid about $100 for this vacuum and haven't looked back since. Easy to use, has a long cord. Has a great suction on it, very strong. Moves around on wheels no problem. It does need emptying every time you use it, but it's fantastic. Got my money's worth for sure!
September 19th 2017 Update: Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaner
I have had this vacuum cleaner for over a year now and still love it. I must admit, it doesn't glide over the floor when pulling it but it's been fine. The suck starts to get bad after a while of using and I have to do a full clean of it (including washing the sponge etc in the filter) and after that, it runs well again. I'm especially happy with the price I paid for it!

Good at start then useless
Like many others this vacuum started off relatively well (for a cheap vacuum) but after a few months the engine has lost all power (all filters and outlets have been cleaned) and now needs to be replaced. I should have spent a bit more and got a decent vacuum in the first place.

Worked great! For a couple of weeks...
I was impressed at first. But a few weeks later and this vacuum does little more then make noise. It can't so much as pick up dust or a 1 cm long piece of dry spaghetti. A completely useless rip off from lazy &/or greedy capitalists who brought a product not fit for purpose to market, to make a short term dollar and make others poorer in the process. Shame on Aldi for carrying this awful product.

Multi Cyclonic Vacuum Cleaner
This was a great vacuum cleaner at first. After moving to a place with carpet though it was terrible. The wheels were like lead to move on the carpet. The clip snapped off so it could not stand up right after 3 months. Bracket to hold on to accessories wouldn't stay on. The filter nearly melted and the motor cut out. On wooden floors we couldn't complain but after 6 months the decision is do we persevere with new filters and hope the motor is still okay or buy new. I have never had a problem with anything I have purchased from Aldi however I would find it hard to recommend this product
