The policy was good value but as previously stated no reason to have to use any of the options. With Coronavirus being prevalent I know the policy would have been invalid

The policy is good i feel more secure and Yes, it’s easy to register.
I didn’t lodge a claim because nothing bad happens to us overseas.
This the first time i use Allianz travel insurance.

Medical emergency overseas and Alianz were fantastic. Great from beginning to end. Thought we’d be in for the long haul getting our claim processed but can’t fault them at all

There was only 1.5 days between the decision and departure ... so very little time to get insurance organised.
As I had used Allianz for travel insurance before (3-4 times), I applied for the policy online. The process was very efficient and good value for money.

After performing extensive research on covers the Allianz Travel policy came up top for best cover options and was competitively priced. I am very happy with the Allianz product and service and hold a number of policies with Allianz.

Felt safe and thankful I didn’t need any cover. Would happily use them again great value. Very quick and easy to set up. Great company and would recommend to anyone else.

I had to extend my insurance period while overseas due to unexpected issues. Staff were most helpful in extending period and payment was easy and seamless. I would use Allianz again.

Just a week before we had to fly out for our family ski trip my wife looked around for insurance companies and this policy covered everything we wanted and was so easy to set up and best of all we didn’t have any annoying sales calls.

Good value. Easy to arrange by phone. ON nearly all other occasions I have used my husbands ANZ Credit Card Travel Insurance as we usually travel together. Took out a separate policy this time as I travelled alone and very happy with Alliance.

I was happy with policy terms although I never needed to submit a claim I felt secure as I traveled. I will use Allianz Travel insurance for any future trips

We are new Retiree's who back on 30th November 2022 took out your Comprehensive Cover Product for peace of mind for our first dream trip in late April 2020 to Italy. Due to world wide matters outside of our control ("The Virus") it is now extremely too risky for us to now embark of this planned and fully prepaid holiday and we have no alternative but to cancel our trip. Over the weekend we suddenly learned that your Comprehensive Travel Policy excludes the Viral Issue that is now impacting across the world. We are now completely angered by this observation and as a client of many many years of your Brand of products I cannot begin to explain the adverse financial impact that this has on us.

I previously used TID and InsureandGo and wish I had kept doing so. Because we are with HCF I decided to use their product.Big mistake. I always purchase when the first dollar is spent -purchased policy Sep 2022. Allianz now tell me there is no hospital/expenses coverage (or any coverage whatsoever) if we get sick/quarantined/cancelled/whatever due to Coronavirus/epidemic/pandemic as we are travelling to Vietnam.Allianz is also used by most CreditCard ins (not amex).
InsureandGo plus TID have full coverage for Coronavirus/epidemic/pandemic if purchases early.ByeBye HCF and Allianz travel/car/home.Yes I know it's all hidden in the pages of fineprint.

It was super easy to set up, agree policy was good value although were fortunate that it was needed to enter a claim :) this was our Second or Third time using this Insurance Company :) and will always use this company :)

Good value and will use again in September when I go overseas again I have only used Alliance insurance once. I do not need to claim anything thank goodness thankyou

I found the process to purchase my policy for a trip to Japan skiing very simple online. It was simple to declare a pre-existing injury I didn’t incur an additional cost. All in all it was a seamless experience.

I have not rated five stars because I haven’t had to make a claim and we all know that can sometimes be challenging with insurance companies. I have no reason to suggest that Alianz would be problematic for a claim. I recommend this company based on my experiences. I will continue to purchase my travel insurance through them.

I booked policy online with no issues. PDS and certificate arrived by return email. Good value for the cover. Used same company repeated times. Nil claims required but is good to know you are covered.

Although I didn't need to claim the insurance; the purchase and pricing was very competitive. I am a first time user and have used other companies previously - but needed to be purchased through a travel agent - so extra commission fees.

Will use Allianz again.

Appreciated an email for me to notify my bank that i would be away.
Had confidence that this policy was right for me and had the backup if things went awry.

The cost was acceptable value. No claim made. I have used the company twice. I will be checking for quotes for future trips in 2020 either individually or for 12 months.
