Hi,
I've just purchased the Ambush mozzie trap and set it up INDOORS in the downstairs bathroom/laundry area seems to be breeding mozzies from somewhere despite there being no stagnant water (toilet lid always kept down). Is it possible they are coming out of the floor drains?? Anyway I tried to find out about using this trap indoors and all I could find was about the Mark II - not sure if this is the same product or different to the one being sold on Ambush. It says you can use indoors but without the lure. My question is:
1. What happens if you use the lure indoors (I already set it up with the lure inside)
2. It mentions it needs to be well ventilated - why is this, does it release any toxic fumes that can't be used indoors? Does this mean I should open all windows/doors indoors?
3. Once opened, does the lure start to disintegrate? Wished it could've said not to use lure if using indoors as I had already set it up as per the instruction manual and only found out later on google I shouldn't have used the lure which seems a bit of a waste...
Can anyone help with the above questions?

Can anyone advise please, can the Unit be or is it designed to be used indoors please?
I'm being hassled and bitten by mozzies inside at night virtually every night here in Port Augusta, SA and can't prevent the little buggers from sneaking in even though evey window is screened including the door. The buggers apparently are sneaking in when entering and exiting the door even when opening and closing as quickly (rushing!) as humanly possible!!
Are there any other successful indoor types or styles of Mozzie traps that really work please that anyone can recommend please.

Is this battery operated or mains powered?

Hi Michelle, it’s mains powered, it is a very low energy user unit. We have ours on, 24/7 in summer and we are a family that is very conscious of our powers useage. It does the job.
Thanks. I can only run this from an inverter.
