Really unhelpful staff
Had an online gift voucher from our son. Long story, finally got to use it. Still has $50 credit but the paperwork they gave me back is not sufficient to use the credits. Worst part was the unhelpful person at the register. Disgusted. Won't shop there again.

Terrific for winter warmth
Anaconda caravan/camping slippers bought for $29-95. Great snug fitting bootee type slippers. Lovely and warm so great for winter camping. Easy to wipe clean. One thing that would make them just about perfect would be a semi solid piece on the heal.

No replacement for damage Products
I purchased a 6 x 3 spinifex PREMIUM 11 Gazebo at Maribyrnong store. They are of cheap design and material. The material did damage in the wind and when I tried to get a replacement top at the store service. They don't have them. The manager comment was " We are a billion dollar company" and unable to talk directly to our warehouse and find out if we are going to get any. It took 2 weeks to find this out. Stores wonder why buyers go on line. I ask to talk to the Manager but he was. No Help! No Concern!

Well I went to an Anaconda store today on the Gold Coast and was appalled at the lack of care and service I received !
Lazy, lazy all the way !
A fantastic store with amazing stock but not much help was offered !
Only one staff behind the counter that didn't move or try to help and no other staff on the floor !
No customer service !
Not going back to that store again !

Waste of time
Against my better judgement, I make the trek to a store after checking online and calling store, yes 12 in stock. Same old story, when I arrived, no stock, plenty on system though. Usual waste of time, when is retail in Aus just going to give up store fronts and focus on online!

Terrible service West Gosford
Bought 2 bikes LAST sunday, they tell me it will be ready for pick up on Tuesday, I called on Wednesday to chase...they cant find my order, called on Thursday to chase, cant find me either but will look and call me back. finally called me back to say that the person who builds bikes is sick the whole week and i have to wait till next sunday to hopefully being able to pick the bike... they could have at least call to let customers know of the situation...They sell you a demo bike as new and on top of that asked me to pay for building fee when it was already built for the store to display! terrible service I will never buy from that store again!

Very poor online shopping experience
I ordered 2 pairs of beach shoes and 1 pair was two big. After 3 phone calls to their customer service centre was told they do not exchange sizes and could only return for a refund. It then took another day and another phone call to even get the refund advice emailed. Returned over a week ago and Aust Post tracking advises received but still no refund and they are looking into it. Worst online shopping experience and would never use Anaconda again. I shop online regularly and always there is a return slip included into the delivery and exchanging sizes or refund prompt and no hassles but not with Anaconda. Incidentally I visited a store directly and the beach shoes were $ 4 cheaper and I stupidly paid $ 9 deliver on top of that.

Don’t expect to get it in the time frame stated
I ordered a bag online and it states 2-5 days for delivery. I did not receive the bag for two weeks. I don’t think I’ll be shopping online with anaconda again any time soon.

Customer service is non existent after sale
I placed two online orders during their recent sale and the first one was received with no problems. The second order they only sent one item and I had to follow up where the second item was at. Communication with their service team is non existent and there is still no resolution in sight one month later. I will be escalating the matter to the ACCC with a formal complaint. It has been the worse online shopping experience and I would save yourself the hassle and shop somewhere reputable.

Cant send the right size shoes
Order a pair of Merrell size 9 shoes. They sent size 8s. Sent in a claim for return, they said to go to drop the old shoes off at Bayswater, I live in the inner city. Finally agreed to return the shoes via post. They sent out new shoes now size 8.5s, still too small. They are now not responding to my requests to resolve the problem.

The worst customer service
Just walked in to buy Salmon Hiking shoes!
There was an employee who was right behind me fixing signs! Totally ignoring me then I turned around and asked if he works in this shoe section this was his reply without looking at me
“Ur not really, what do you want”
I was so shocked by his reply, action & inattention I said “don’t worry” so he kept at doing his job!
He didn’t stop, turn around and say “not I don’t but let me get the right person” just left me there!
I was prepared to spend money! Bad employee, money lost! So my feet are doing the talking somewhere else who really wants my money!

Anaconda camping & outdoors shop is a very huge shop. I went in to buy some camping gear and I was very surprised with the professional way the huge shop is done. Most pleasing for me was that they have many different types of tents erected, so I could see tents in their "Real life" size and shape and materials.
I could easily write 5 more paragraphs on how professional this anaconda shop is . ( cairns ) .
10 out of 10 excellent .

the worst online shopping experience
ordered 3 down jackets and one thermal on 23rd June, received the thermal within a week, but the rest of them are still getting processed. every time i called them, the same questions but no help at all. made a complaint by email last week which didnt help either. thinking to take it to ACCC

I visited the Mile End SA store in the first week of July 2022 looking to purchase a high quality down jacket in the price range up to AUD $450.00 (e.g. North Face, HH, Marmot etc). Plenty of winter clothing on sale and plenty of staff on the floor but no assistance. e replied didn't know / wasn't familiar with down jackets. Employee could have called another staff member with specific product knowledge - but didn't. Looks like I'll be shopping elsewhere again. I had the same poor / indifferent customer service experience 5 years ago when looking for a new down jacket but I spent my money elsewhere. I thought I'd give Anaconda another chance, but not much point really as not much has changed in the customer service area. Are Anaconda doing so well that they can afford to provide poor / indifferent customer service? p.s. I made a small purchase on the day and checkout staff were ok. p.p.s. I want to be clear, I don't want this particular employee to be in trouble, as I think Anaconda's problem goes higher than that and it seems to be a systemic problem. The staff in Anaconda's Hobart store were helpful. The employee at the register helped me figure out how to get my adventure club discount without the card arriving yet. Also waited for me to get my phone from the car for the confirmation email and didn't put me to the back of the line.

On 30 June, 2022 we visited Anaconda Cambridge Tasmania to purchase a number of snow related clothing items, etc for an impending trip. When we returned home, we found the security tag still attached to one of the receipted items. I rang the store to enquire as to how to remove. This was not possible so had to return to the store the next day. Cameron was very helpful. Unprofessional
Worse service I have ever had. Purchased some hiking boots for $84.99, went through the checkout, my money was taken out of my account then a couple of days later was refunded with no explanation. Rang and was told they were out of stock at the time, but you can’t get to checkout if they are out of stock. Next phone call I was told they try to find you stock and if no luck within 10 days they refund you. I think it was back in stock about the 10th day but at full price but they weren’t willing to honor the deal very disappointed and think that is false trading. So beware people when ordering. Only gave you one star as they won’t let you send your review without one. Bah humbug

Ordered a fishing rod and reel combo that was in stock locally. It came with a free gift. The free gift arrived in a few days...
2 weeks later, no sign of the rod and reel combo that was in stock...
Website says 3 - 7 business days for delivery. Sure....
When i rang a couple of days ago, they still hadn't even sent it. Stuff knows when it will arrive.

You sound like working for them ! and fair enough. As I was a happy member of Anaconda (I really liked the shop), they have a complete history of all my receipts. I haven't found the need to share my docket publicly ( not many do ), but I still have the 2016 invoice. Anaconda first told me that they found both receipt (2015 and 2016), then told me to prove that I bought shoes from them in 2016 as suddenly didn't have my 2016 invoices to able them to process my claim (I have their email proving this). I found my 2016 receipt, and I did send it, now they asked me to bring both pair of shoes, requesting that they both have to be the same size (I also have their email proving this), while the invoices clearly show that I have a 9.5 and 9 sizes shoes.....I am just getting the run around...
