Excellent frypan

published

I love my fry pan, have been using nearly everynight to cook on my gas cook top, for a year, and it’s as good as the day I brought it. Holds heat well, still nothing sticks to it, cleans up quickly. This is the best fry pan I’ve ever owned, so went and brought more, I don’t understand all the negative reviews as my experience with My Anolon cookwear has been fantastic.

Purchased in June 2021 for $140.

Nice Pans

published

I held off on my review for 6 weeks to see how they performed. I’m very satisfied with the set of 3 pans purchased at a very good boxing day sale price. The surface is good, heat retention is good and they clean up in seconds. Honestly the negative reviews on these pans are largely down to operator error. If you understand the do’s and be don’ts when it comes to direct flame non stick coated cookware and likewise in terms of care and cleaning, these perform well. With the basic rules applied I see these serving me well for a few years to come. Not sure what the “lifetime” guarantee entails but if I use them regularly for 5 yrs before requiring new pans that’s pretty decent. Time will tell.

Purchased in December 2021 for $119.

Anolon Endurance 5QT/4.7L Sauté Pan with Lid

published

After reading some of these reviews, it appears there is an issue with the bases of the pans warping. I have had our sauté pan for 12 months and despite great care and use on a Miele induction stove, the base has warped. When the pan is cool, very little of the base of the pan is in contact with the stove. Once the pan is hot, the base flattens and it can be used to cook efficiently. Using the pan over low heat is problematic.

Very Disappointed

published

Bought this pan to use in my cafe.
The first day I used it the middle of the pan warped and created like a deep spot in the middle.
When I returned it to the store, the analon rep looked at it and said it was not covered under warranty because it was not supposed to be used for commercial purposes.
So whether I used once at home or commercially, it still buckled.
Don't waste your money on this brand.

Not worth the extra money

published

I hoped my expensive Anolon pan would live up to the marketing claims - incredibly durable, metal utensil safe, non-stick designed to last - but after 2 years, everything stuck to it, and it was time for it to go out with the rubbish. I think you'd be better off buying a non-stick $30 pan from woolies each year. Don't believe the hype!

Purchased in January 2022 at Peter's of Kensington for $150.

So glad I bought these frypans

published

I was really surprised to read the other reviews on this site. I bought one Analon fry pan a year ago on sale, loved it so much I went back and bought another bigger one. The non stick works much better than my old scanpans, which lost their nonstick coating very quickly, i was really impressed. I have just bought a sauteuse pan on sale.

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH!

published

Bought a non-stick Anolon Endurance frypan recently. Non-stick is non existant after a few uses. I complained and they offered me a 25% discount but no warranty claim. Don't waste your money. Over $200 wasted, and that was the sale price.

Purchased in October 2022 for $200.

Poor quality for an expensive price

published

I spent just under $300 for two analon frypans and within 6 months the non stick was non existent. All foods are sticking regardless of using Oil or natural fats & constant soaking is required just to wash up after cooking a few steaks. I am extremely disappointed & will never buy this brand again.

Very overpriced cookware, poor quality

published

Saucepans are OK but the frypans where you want some extra heat are appalling quality. Warped and nonstick surface can be scratched off with my fingernails.

Considering the retail price if these, they are an absolute ripoff.

Not Amazing for the money

published

These pans look and feel solid, but they’re not.
12 months in and we can even cook bacon without it sticking, and I have followed the care instructions closely. I have gotten just as much, if not more, life out of pans that cost half as much. Quite disappointed really.

Just another expensive waste of money

published

As Anolon, have a so called lifetime warranty, I thought that this would be a good buy. It has lasted approx 18 months before the non stick coating has started sticking. I have aslso noticed that the pan warps, even on low to moderate heat. I have used it within the acceptable use policy, but it has not lasted. I am convinced that I would get better value from one of the cheaper stoneware pans by changing them every 2 years.
Cant say that I would reccomend them.

used with my Neff oven and it bubbled the bottom of the tray

published

My fault as I didn't know there was a max 200c limit. Roast pork needs 220-230 for first 20 mins. My tray is now ruined. An oven tray max at 200 needs rethinking.

Not quite great

published

I've recently treated myself to an Anolon Endurance+ 6 Piece Cookware Set and I have to say that I'm quite impressed by how they are performing. - so far so good. I've followed the manufacturers instructions to the T and have no complaints about the pans. The lids however are disappointing as there is no vent in the glass lids which means condensation forms on the domed lid and drips back into the pan. This is actually quite an issue if you're cooking a dish.which needs to simmer for an hour or two. This tiny detail would make them perform so much better.. . . .

Great little Frypan

published

I have only owned this little pan a bit over a month but so far so good. I think the key for me has been the care factor. I never have the gas flame over medium and allow the pan to cool before wiping it out. Has been used almost every day without issue at all. Looking now to buy other frypans from this range.
