Great phone with good feel
This has to be one of the best looking iPhone made. The camera quality is great. Reaction speed for apps is fast. Better to get the 256GB as memory runs out fast from taking too much pictures. The down side however is the battery life is a little short

The overprice way to spend all day trying and failing to have USB tethering.
The one thing I needed this for was to provide internet in an area not supported by VPN but close to the heart of Sydney. Work supplied me with this product.
But I'm writing this while I wait for the second attempt at updating the IOS, after my connection had a hick-up 3.4gb into the download. All in the hopes that USB tethering will finally work. It won't though.
It's a positively grueling experience trying to get USB tethering to work with windows (The most commonly used OS in the world btw). I've looked through about 10 guides, gone throug...Read more
h IT support 20 times, and I'm thinking, society is underpaid from the cost of believing the lie that more money always means better quality. If I wanted something expensive, I'd suggest we all invest in google pixel, and get better speech recognition and usb tethering that 'Just works'. Unfortunately for me the bloatware required to run this is ITUNES. You need to install this poorly programmed media center, JUST so that your PC correctly identifies the device enough to get basic PC-Iphone interaction. Nobody actually needs this, Apple just wants you to buy more music. And say you want to update your phone's OS via Itunes.. most client-base updaters like steam will store a cache of downloaded data. This allows user flexibility of turning the computer off and on midway. This allows users to be human in making a mistake like switching VPN locations midway updates. Not the case with Itunes, as you need to nurse your computer connection through several GB's of download, or start over.Purchased in March 2021.

Bit expensive to android
Got this iphone 8 on special on boxing day. The camera is better than iphone 7 but if you compare it with other androids its bit pricey. So far its okay.

Great phone!
I’ve always been an iPhone user and I find that iPhone 8 is great! User friendly unlike some other phones made which are too-touch sensitive. I’m loving my iPhone 8!

A Bit Overpriced...
I recently switched from an Android to my current iPhone 8, so far I am kind of regretting it. The IOS system does offer a smoother interface that is more user-friendly and the camera quality is decent. However the downfalls of an iPhone in comparison to its Android counterparts are the lack of an audio jack and not having the option of installing a micro SD card.

Same as a 7
Same as a 7 no difference, haven’t seen anything besides the loud speaker being better than the 7.
Shame it only came in 64gb or 258gb be nice if they had 128gb for this model.
I’m old school I need buttons so only upgraded two months ago to this phone.

Does everything I need it to
I’m happy with the functionality of the phone and all of the features. If you want a great phone, something not the latest one out, this is for you. You can pick one up second hand for a great price.

Was better before the latest update nerfed it
I generally like apple products, but cannot stand the way the company intentionally releases updates that are either too complicated for the older models to handle, or as came out a few years ago, releasing updates that slow the phone intentionally. With the issue of product waste aside, this renders the product much less desirable than one intended to last for a longer period of time.

I love my iPhone
I have been team iPhone for years now . They are by far the best brand and easiest to use. I use my phone for EVERYTHING and this phone means I don’t need to use a computer. The apps are easy and clear and make my life easier by far.

Met expectations
Does what you’d expect of an iPhone. Lot of features, more than I or most people would use, but I’m invested in the Apple platform now, so stuck with it. It’s good, but I’d say a bit over priced.

Absolutely hate it! Pain every day!
iPhone is just overpriced piece of junk. I have to use as it’s a corporate device and I have no choice. UI is 10 years old. Functionality is 10 years old. All stock applications you have to be replaced with Google equivalents on day 1. Safari, maps, mail app, stock keyboard, photos app, calendar app, contacts app and all another are terrible. Battery dies after 8 hours of moderate use. Apps freezing constantly. All apple can recommend is to reset the phone. Ideally every day. . Memory management is terrible. Floating home application grid drive...Read more
s me nuts. Closing all open applications make my thumb sore. Switching mobile hotspot on and off is painful. All latest features were available in Android phones 2 to 5 years ago. Android phones with similar features just much better OS cost third of the price. Everyday use just makes me an angry person. Absolutely hate this iPhone. Its okay not the best
Im satisfied with the camera quality but Ive noticed over time it gets worse, Ive had my iPhone 8 for two years and now its really slow and the battery life is pretty bad I find myself having to charge it 3 or more times a day I recently updated my phone and its running really badly, when I first purchased it brand new it worked really well but now its not as good.
