Constantly freezes and Apple staff won’t replace
I purchased the phone outright in June. It has been nothing but problems. Freezing, not ringing and going direct to message bank, internet pages not loading, iTunes not loading despite paying $12 a month. Apple won’t replace it as their diagnostics say nothing is wrong with it. Apple doesn’t give a crap about its customers. $1500 wasted. I will never spend another cent on an Apple product for the rest of my life.

Love this IPhone
The camera is high quality as expected with IPhone brand. At night the flash brings out high quality photos.
Durability is sensitive, invest in a high quality case to protect the screen, brightness and display are of standard quality with IPhones.
I use my iPhone for emails, studying and surfing the web, it can also use full screen when watching movies, YouTube videos.
Apps run smoothly without issues on the phone and can be easily found and operated at ease.

All that you need in a phone!
Best iPhone to date, does everything you need and then some! Camera has been great, especially during dim light conditions. Speakers have definitely improved, to the point I no longer take my portable Bluetooth speaker when travelling. Screen's brilliant, watching movies on the plane is a pleasure. An overall top notch product.

Cheaper than other new iPhones
I like any phone, both android and Apple. My husband and kids all have iPhones. So I decided to go back to apple because its just so easy to monitor kids use, I can stop them from spending too long online.
iMessage is pretty good as well.
What I dont like about apple is the price and that you cannot customise as much as Android.

XR for Battery Life
The iPhone XR 256GB is a large, heave phone, but this is not a major issue if you mostly use it at a desk for work purposes. Battery life is second to none, whilst maintaining a good standard across all other major features.

Better than all the iPhones I’ve had so far!
I’ve owned a few iPhones before this iPhone XR, and I must admit, this one really beats them all. The camera takes 4K images, which is perfect when capturing those precious moments of your fast growing toddler, or your special holiday memories. My favourite aspect is the Portrait mode - it totally blurs the background just like DSLR cameras! The size of the screen is amazing for reading books, or simply watching some Netflix. I also like not having the home button, at first I was skeptical, but’s it’s really grown on me - it makes usage so much...Read more
easier! Apps open quicker, they run faster and I really love how you can fit more apps on one page. The battery also lasts ages (more than 24 hours and you’ll still have approx 40% remaining) which is much more than the iPhone 7 (which is what I upgraded from). I’ve always loved Apple products and this one so far is my second favourite (first favourite is the Mac), the functionality, accessibility and easiness just gets better and better.Purchased in August 2021 at JB Hi-Fi for $1,100.00.

definitely improving from previous version
firstly the battery life is considerable incredible. This is probably the first iphone I have used where I can get two days of use on one charge. I would regularly charge the phone overnight one night, then go to bed at midnight with 50-60% left the next night, leave it unplugged, and finish the next day at midnight with around 5-10%. The size of the phone was just just about perfect for holding/scrolling with one hand, and I usually wear men’s size medium gloves for reference. The notch didn't bother me when using the phone for basic functions...Read more
, but was annoying when watching videos; and I was a lot of videos on my phone, so that was kinda a deal breaker. It’s not that the notch bothered me by covering content, but rather the aspect ratio was based off the bottom of the notch instead of the top of the screen, so 18:9 aspect ratio videos either always had gaps around the notch, or they were cut off when zoomed to fit; 16:9 videos obviously didn’t fill the screen nicely either and made for a viewing experience closely resembling that of the older small iPhones. I also didn’t like the 18:9 aspect ratio in general as most videos I watch are still in the more common 16x9 aspect ratio. Face ID was very cool when logging into apps and websites that use password, but it wasn’t very consistent when unlocking the phone in the mornings (when half my face was shoved into a pillow and I looked like hell), when the phone was oriented sideways, or when the phone was lying on the table; ultimately, I reverted to turning off the security entirely. At that point, the notch became even more of an annoyance, since I wasn’t using Face ID; however, I did not use Touch ID on older iPhones either. With that being said, I do like Face ID better than Touch ID of previous iPhones. Another downside to the iPhone XR is the resolution. While the screen is indeed VERY nice to look at, the resolution was less that I would prefer. I would not have noticed the lower resolution of the screen if I had not been comparing it next to the iPhone 8 Plus. The problem is not with the screen itself, but that some apps had downsampled the display to 720p, instead of 1080p, which was very noticeable. I would say the iPhone XR screen is better looking than the iPhone 8 Plus in terms of producing deeper blacks and slightly better colors, and the lower resolution isn’t noticeable except for some apps as previously mentioned. Overall, the iPhone XR is and awesome but, and I recommend it, but I ended up returning it for the iPhone 8 Plus simply for the wider screen with 16:9 aspect ratio, and higher resolution.Purchased in June 2021 at jibihifi for $1,650.00.

Best Upgrade Ever
Like the title says, this has been the best upgrade ever. With my iPhone 4, now obsolete (I'm down to my last handful of usable apps etc) I finally bit the bullet and upgraded within the apple family. And why didn't i do it sooner? It's easy to use, has the best camera with top quality pics as a result. I highly recommend giving it a go.

Perfect phone in less money
I bought this phone and cant be anymore happy. The phone speed, battery life, camera quality everything is perfect. I am very happy i made the decision to spend less money and buy XR rather than XS which was way too costly. The features are more or less same of both phones so why top spend more.

I’m ashamed I was an android user for so long!
Finally made the big swap to apple and I’ll never look back!
Camera quality is stunning, takes the most gorgeous picture perfect photos, whether it’s in selfie mode or night time.
Love how easy it is to access settings, including the brightness and sound, as we are always changing them depending on our surroundings.
I use my iPhone xr for everything!!! Phone calls, messages, social media, work related things, and gaming! The quality is amazing! I must admit I was hesitant making that change from android to apple, but the process was so simple,...Read more

Great but not Excellent
The phone raves about having the best battery ever. I have had the phone for 6 months and already the battery doesn’t last more then 14 hours and I need to put it on the charger .
I brought the new phone as the last two
iPhones I had (iPhone 5s and 6s had servere battery issues). So a bit disappointing that after 3-4 month battery was again becoming an issue

Best iPhone ever !
The iPhone XR is an awesome phone which lets me take high quality images in most lighting situations.
The phone appears to be tough enough but I use it with a pelican case which makes this phone even tougher.
