Computer and convenient to have around!
I’m in love with this computer because it’s speed is fast, and it’s specs are decent for gaming. I use this for both work and home in other words, gaming. It’s convenient to carry around because it isn’t heavy and big. Definetely rate a 10/10 without a doubt and regret.

Best purchase I've ever made.
Super fast, light weight, durable and easy to use laptop.
Can't imagine my life without it. Everything about it is 10/10.
Display is beautiful and sound perfect!
I have never once had an issue or problem with it. EVER!
The battery life is commendable. I easily get 12+ hours of use per charge. Sometimes more if I'm power conscious and use battery saver mode. Perfect for students, bloggers or just general use. The user interface is one of my favourite things about it. Its so simple to use.
10/10 product. Highly recommend.

A flop!
I purchased this for a relative, it worked for two years and then when I broke off My friendship with my relative - I got the laptop back. I didn’t receive the charger either. I went to various outlets which attempted to charge the laptop. But to no avail - no matter how many times I tried with relevant charging cords, the laptop simply did not power up. I took it to a verified repairer who said I would need to spend $400 or more replacing part of the motherboard that not operating.
Was so disappointed ...

Practical
I have been using it for almost four years, and I feel it is both practical and resilient. The only downside is about using Microsoft Office tools such as MS Word that is not as solid as the Windows version. This computer is not obviously suitable for gaming and high-performance computation.

Fantastic!
Purchased my MacBook Air in 2013 and it has not disappointed me. 5 years in and it is still running smoothly as it was the first day. However, would recommend going for a bigger hard drive, as memory fills up pretty quickly especially having it for more than 4 years. Have bought other laptops in between & seem to always find myself going back to my MacBook Air instead.

Really practical
I have had this laptop for a while now, it works really well. The only down side would be the weight because it is quite heavy and not as practical at a macbook air for uni or work for example. Otherwise I recommend it, it is a really good laptop.

Good, reliable computer
I bought it for my daughter to use it at school. It’s Thin and light. Good speed, and the screen is colorful. Very easy to use and operate, especially the mouse pad. Very easy to learn to use it, too. My daughter can do everything on it without purchasing windows office software. Good value for money.

Good laptop for uni
i bought this laptop for uni and it didn't fail me once. I had many programs running at once and it handled it very well. The finish is quite nice, very modern and chic. I loved the magnetic charger cable that would disconnect easily if it was tugged on. This feature definitely saved me from having to buy an new charging cable for sure!

As beautiful as it is expensive
The macbook works great, the soft ware is fast, the keys are comfortable, the screen looks great and the design is very polished. Really perfect in every way other than the price which is many times more expensive than a comparable chromebook. I love it, but still unsure whether it was worth the money

Great computer
This has been our family computer for a few years now. It is still up with it and runs smoothly. Spec wise it is perfect for what we use it for. Also worth noting that we have dropped it a few times with no damage, which has been an advantage when you have kids!

Very resilient
A very resilient machine. Have been using this for almost 5 years and it is still going strong. The battery lasts the whole day. The keyboard works perfectly. There are way more than enough I/O ports for me to connect to my peripherals and external drives. People say the CPU is weak, but I think it's way more than enough for most people.

Pretty, Pretty expensive.
Apple's macbook range has always been a stunner for me. The macbook range has always been ahead of the curve when it comes to aesthetics, screen clarity, and portability. The one thing that is a deal-breaker for me on the new 2017 range is the butterfly keyboard switches. The touch bar, although pretty cool, provides no value in the product.

But expensive but still the best for everyday use
So I own both a MacBook Air and MacBook Pro (latest end 2017 model) and honestly I’d say the air is just as good as the pro, for everyday use. Don’t think you need the latest and newest Pro laptop when the air is actually lighter and still does everything with ease. Save yourself maybe $500-$1000 and get the air! What would be perfect is an upgrade to the air to make it even smaller again, let’s hope!

Great laptop for design use.
I bought this laptop specifically for uni and it is really nice. Its light and portable. The laptop looks chic and modern. Not so good for gaming but other than that, its great. The price is expensive but worth it. So far so good. The audio is nice when watching Netflix.

Nice general purpose little laptop
To be honest I was expecting a bit more of it, but the minute you run a few apps together the whole things gets a bit laggy. Beautiful design at the time, very compact and nice to look at. Overall, bit overpriced for the provided features but I suppose it is a mac.

Great power, very compact, just a little lacking in power
Great power and can do a lot with this little laptop. Can even play games, do photo editing, video editing and animating on this little computer for the faster versions. Only problem was if I was editing large files or creating long movies or animations. Definitely couldn't handle that much power. But great for web browsing, watching movies and travelling since it's so light and portable. Would highly recommend.

Great laptop for school and not much else.
Bought laptop for uni and it ticks all the right boxes. It’s portable, lightweight and looks hip. I’m terms of everyday use it is solidly built and has a premium feel. For this price range you probably could still get a slightly better laptop with gaming functions and better screen. But Battery life is fantastic and definitely is bang for your buck once on sale.

Great laptop
This MacBook Air is the first Mac I’ve owned. I was skeptical about switching from a Windows laptop to Apple. I’ve found it fast and easy to use and is also lightweight and thin. The price was a little high but I expected that (as that’s the case with most Apple products). The update to MacOS High Sierra saw me taking it to the Apple store to be fixed but that’s was a very easy and quick experience as they fixed it straight away in store.

Best Laptop I've owned
Bought this laptop mainly for school work however i find myself using it daily for many other tasks. i haven't had any issues with it and have never needed to visit the apple stores with concerns or issues. definitely worth the money as it always runs fast, has never overheated and has great battery life with a very clear image.

How does the Macbook Air's cope with editing softwares and loads of footage? im a media student and been suggested to get a Macbook air/pro but how convient is this mac towards what is needed of me?As well as the maintance of this product?
2 answers
Hi, based on the info provided I would recommend the pro over the air. The air was not designed to handle that kind of application.
The Air is powerful enough to run Final Cut Pro X - but it depends on how complex your movie is - the Pro has better graphics and faster processors. I use my Air (1.7Ghx Intel Core i7, Intel HD Graphics 5000, with 8Gb Ram and 500Gb SSD) to do imports and rough edits when I am in the field and transfer to a Mac Pro for the heavy duty work when I get home. Its a LOT cheaper than the Mac Pro...

Will it go on the internet with a sim card same as i pad?

You can connect to the Internet through WIFI but cannot do so with a Sim card.
No not the same as the ipad, the next best solution is to purchase a 3g hotspot or USB dongle
