I started my baby on this formula after having issue breast feeding. My doctor recommended it after she used it with her children. I now Comp feed and my baby adjusted to this formula easily without any constipation or other issues. He is now gaining weight at the expected rate and is a happy baby.

Purchased in April 2021 at Woolworths for $32.00.

Great formula for my baby

published

This is a great formula for my younger kid. She loves it. It is very easy to prepare, just like the A2. Two spoons of milker powder, fill in the water and shake it. That is it. My child loves the taste, perhaps because it is sweeter than the A2? Because I bought this formula, I read other reviews and was worried about the side effects. But unluckily, they did not happen to my girl. No reflux, no flare up.

Make my twins have bad reflux but not constipated

published

A few key points to this formula
1. This formula is easy to prepare like any other, except contain a lot of bubbles after preparing. I’m not sure whether it is the bubbles that makes my twins (2 months) have reflux even after 2 hours after feeding. On one occasion one of them had reflux straight after feeding, all out through his mouth and nose and was struggling to breath. I panic a little but after all the formula came out. Her looked fine..
2. The babies used to be constipated for days before pooping on other formula. But now they are pooing easily but their poop are now runny. Is that how they’re suppose to be?
3. Have to buy 2-3 cans when I can get my hands on them as they are always run out from pharmacy/Coles or Safeway.

great for my grandchild

published

Started using this formula for our grandchild, when my daughter was still mix feeding (breast and formula). My grandchild took it without any issues. Eventually switched to formula only, and had no issues at all. Easy to prepare too. Very happy and have already switched to the stage 2 formula (6 months+

Good but hard to buy

published

This formula is also easy to prepare but only one thing needs to be careful when mixed with water dont shake it strongly you must make too much bubble in the bottle which is not good for baby digestion. In general this formula is really good. Just hope i can buy it more easily as long as we need it

Best formula

published

It is a bit on the pricier side of baby formula on the market but it is worth the price! It is easy to mix but has quite a bit of foam but it doesn't make my baby gassy. Started with s26 Gold and it made my daughter constipated but switching to this formula has made such a difference! Although the only downside to this formula, it can be hard to find in supermarkets because it is always sold out but you can always buy it online

Baby was on a goats milk formula after cutting down breast feeding and was so constipated she would scream when she was pooing and would squirm all night like she had a pain in the belly. it was horrible. I changed to aptamil profutura and the immediate difference was amazing. she drinks whole bottles now and her poos are normal again. no more upset baby, makes this mummy happy to see. only complaint is it bubbles up a lot when mixing but some bubbles are little to worry about when it works for bubs.

It works very well with my kids. They have it from one month old . It is very easy to prepare. Babies seem to enjoy it. No side effects from it. It is a very well know brand and all my doctors recommend it. I sometimes just use cold books water . It is still very easy to prepare.

Loved it

published

This is the first formula we have tried and loved it. My baby seems to love it too and i did not really notice any negative side effects. the only thing i can mention is its availability. Many times we have to go to different locations to buy Aptamil. It is easy to prepare and easy to store. This product is a bit expensive but i guess its worth it. My baby never had any stomach/wind/gas/constipation issue with it and she is using from 1 month and now she is 18 month.

Happy Baby

published

My baby is like me and like most things, including this formula. Easy to prepare and gives me a piece of mind that my baby is getting everything they need. In saying that, I still give them other brands to mix it up, after all, I don't want to eat lettuce everyday, I want to eat bok choi and cabbage too!

Profutura 1

My bub is almost 6 month old and has no issues on aptamil profutura 1 ..... do I have to change to #2?

I don't know if it is essential, but I guess formula in different stages provide different nutrition, even different amount for the same nutrition. I always change to another stage. I hope it helps.

Aptamil
Nutricia Careline T.Aptamil

Hi Rebekka, thank you for your enquiry. Some people choose to leave their babies on the stage 1 until they are 12 months, some choose to just wait until their babies are established on solids over 6 months and some change to the next stage at the corrected age of the baby. All this is perfectly fine, the stage 1 is fine to use til the 12 months. If you would like more information please call us on 1800 060 057.

Profutura 1

Hi! I used to use aptamil gold + and have recently started to try aptamil profutura and was wondering why the water amounts are different. At 4 months the gold + says to give 5 scoops for 250ml whereas the profutura says to give a 4 month old 3 scoops at 150ml. Why is the amount less? Is this enough for her after he has been drinking 250ml?
