Hi, just wondering how your running costs have gone since installing this. I have an old unit (125L?) that costs a bomb. Trying to figure out if new models really are cheaper more efficient? Cheers

Hi, has been reasonable energy efficient for a storage system. A lot better insulated than an our older model so once it heats up it holds heat. It is inside a cupboard which I use for air drying any damp clothes. Doesn't give off nearly as much heat a 2 previous systems. Of course electric storage units are not the cheapest hot water. On demand gas is probably best but I don't have gas going past & would need tanks delivered. Keeps up to our demand of 4 adults (2 being in their 20s showering twice a day). Average usage over the year is 600 KWs per quarter. Hope this helps.
