Useless dryer
This washing combo was in an apartment I was staying in for 2 nights
Washing function great. 30 minute wash all good.
Dryer function non existent. 4 hours ridiculous and still not dry.

Does not dry
This combo, a washer- dryer is poor on both fronts, when washing, and when drying. In our building, every apartment is serviced with this combo and not even one of us was able to successfully use the dryer function. The clothes are out of the machine warm and dump. pointless.

Best Washing Machine I have ever used. Love it
I bought the Ariston ARMF125 washing machine/dryer. I wash all sorts of clothing from delicates to very soiled clothing. The features and controls are fantastic - choosing which program you want and the temperature - It is just so easy to use. Where you put the washing liquid and fabric softener is a great compartment. It swings out wide so you can easily access it and you can remove it easily for further cleaning. I love the 15 minute cycle and the 30 minute cycle.
The fact that it is a washing machine/dryer is great as it has saved so much space in my new apartment in the laundry. I am really happy with this machine and would recommend it to anyone.
Purchased in January 2021 at Harvey Norman Electronics Physical Store for $1,200.00.

Ariston 8kg Front loader Machine
When we decided to buy another washing machine I really wanted something easy to operate less water with a good star rating. After speaking to the sales lady Kate at Harvey Norman at Lakehaven NSW we where really surprised on the workmanship and the 5 year warranty. I'm really amazed on how clean my cloths are coming out …And happy with no movement and low noise .I've downsized from at 10 kilo to an 8kilo and that was my concern … But my washing amount has not changed and wow my queen size blanket washed amazingly. I'm really Happy with my Ariston Purchase.

Do Not Buy. Worst Machine Ever.
Unfortunately, this is the unit that came with the apartment that we're renting, so we had no choice but to use this. We're the first renters of this unit as the building is new, so we're also the first users. We've been here a little over a year when the first problems came up. Last april, the pump broke already and it took over a month to get it replaced. Arisit, the retailer in australia, has the worst customer service, so not only does the item malfunction easily, you'll also need to deal with rude customer service agents. It is august now,...Read more
only a few months after the first issue arose, and the machine decided to stop-mid cycle. It turned off on its own and locked the door. I could not turn the machine back on, and my clothes were still wet inside. I reported the issue immediately to the customer service number, and I was just referred to the repair service number (without asking for details of the issue). The repair service provider just told me to call the customer service again as a new job order needed to be put. The same customer service agent, janet, answered my call and when asked (again) when I purchased it, I said it came with the apartment, and without hearing further details, she said that it is already out of warranty. She said I need to e-mail them with a proof of purchase or proof that the item is still within warranty, then they'll get back to me within 3 business days. Three business days of my clothes inside their stupid machine. Very helpful! Aside from these issues, though, the dryer does not dry out clothes well. Because it uses water, the clothes turn out damp after running a dryer cycle unless you do the full 6-hour one. So, please take my advice and do not purchase this product.Purchased in February 2021.

Worst dryer functionality, meaning less..hats off to the scientist who invented dryer function in this combo
It is taking 4h 15 min to dry the clothes, but normally if you place them after wash in normal room temperature, they get automatically dried with the same amount of time. Usually dryer should be able to complete its function less than an hour, since I used many dryers earlier and have quite amount of experience with them. But ariston dryer is taking more than four hours to dry the clothes, which is too much long time than usual. I am confused with this functionality how they have introduced dryer functionality in the washing machine, unnecessa...Read more
rily wasting the power bill..this is what I felt. Also noticed quite few times after spending this much time the clothes are not fully dried only around 70 percent is dried. Only god has to understand the meaning of dryer functionality and benefit in this washing machine. Besides that after dryer is completed there are foldings left, which are more difficult to clear them, I am spending almost 15 minutes to clear them by ironing a shirt(I usually spend not more than 3 minutes for a shirt) but still the foldings are clearly visible, clothes get damaged if you spend more time on ironing them. This is totally bad experience for me with this combo, I feel using the dryer is completely waste of time and better to have a separate dryer instead of using it. These kind of customer experiences are not good for a company. Please try to make any alternate arrangement for this, call me for anything you need to know more. Thanks.!Purchased in August 2021 at Harvey Norman for $1,100.00.

very clean clothes - don’t ever use dryer function
All types of clothes. Cleans EXTREMELY well, even on short cycles (I have a messy toddler). Keeps clothes in fantastic condition. Great variety of cycle times.
If you’re interested in purchasing this but have read the reviews of it being noisy - If you do not level the feet properly it will be extremely noisy and will probably break eventually, just like any other washer. If you live in an apartment with concrete construction (most are) anything will be noisy. Just put a piece of cheap foam insulation underneath or a couple layers of carpet un...Read more

Don't buy one don't use one
I am staying in an apartment that has this machine installed. I washed one towel, one bath mat and one tea towel so the machine was not overloaded. Did separately as I wanted them washd and dried. They came out covered in brown stains. I need a new washing machine at home so I won't be buying this brand.

Great family addition
We wash a family of fours washing regularly, work clothes, uniforms, delicates, blankets and sheets.
I can find a setting for most of my needs, the sanitary setting is amazing. My favourite is the 30 min wash- and it actually is 30 mins.
It manages to wash all delicates with care and come out beautiful.

Worst combo ever
As a washing machine it is great.the dryer is shocking.nothing ever
Dries.we got this combo as a replacement to our washer that had corroded in a short period of time to save space and it was a waste of money.i want a dryer that dries completely not one that pumps water into it and leaves them steaming and wet.its ridiculous.will have to buy a single drier to sit on top again.

Staying in accommodation that has this machine it’s a joke won’t dry clothes properly at all.
What a stupid machine waste of everybody’s time to be an all in one washer/dryer is not drying clothes at all. When you press dry you expect dry... please don’t bother as I have wasted most of my precious holidays trying to dry our clothes & it doesn’t work!
Buy a dryer & a washing machine does it 90% faster than this.

Pointless dryer component
I have just bought a house with the Ariston combination washer and dryer in it. I believe it's 2-3 years old. It's very complicated to use even though I found instructions on internet.
I find most of the cycles too long.
The biggest disappointment is the dryer. It takes 2-3 hours and still not totally dry. Yes I'm not overloading the dryer. No point having the dryer component if it doesn't work well. Will probably have to buy something else unless anyone can suggest I'm doing something wrong.

No I definitely did not go over the weight requirements. Last night I tested another load had three face washers and two hand towels in the dryer. They were in for 50 minutes and still not dry. That is not acceptable standards I think.

Disappointing lifespan
Cleans well, drys fine for what we need, doesn’t wear out the clothes
We moved into a unit so I thought I’d give my LG front loader (about 8 years old) to my daughter and I would upgrade to the Ariston. The LG is soldering on like a champ and my Ariston sounds like we’ve moved to the airport! I’ve apologised to our neighbors for the noise.
Also the door jams 50% of the time. It blew a fuse which Ariston repaired free of charge - which was good as it was actually out of warranty.
So after 41/2 years of average use the Ariston has blown a ...Read more

almost 5 years old and going strong
I absolutely love this washing machine. In the 5 years the locking mechanism went bad though.. i was able to get a replacement part which was so much better built and was easy to replace. It has so many wash cycles for big loads.. I can cram tons of clothes in and then run through both wash and dry cycle.. works great

Ok brand can give you grief if you move houses
When it was new I use to love it cleans very well so it's nearly 5 years now and it's no good at all.. it doesn't wear out clothes but leaving the stamping from the bowl of the machine.. it was very quite before we moved houses now the whole neighbourhood can come to your place, haven't diagonisedvtge problem yet I contacted them but haven't heard back
Good thing is that they have 5 year warranty which help hoping they can fix it or replace
Favourite features are ironing, silk & bed & bath
I actually quite like the brand when I bought it at first

Cheap but not worth it.
I really liked the idea of a front-loader and combo machine after moving to an apartment without a laundry and while this machine was a good compact size I had to take it back after a few weeks. Extremely noisy, poorly built and feels cheap & nasty. Wasn't impressed with the wash quality and found the control panel quite complicated to use as well.

Ok for small space
I bought this machine as I wanted to save space and in my unit.
Fairly good washing machine and ok dryer.
It is quite in the night mode and hardly heard anything when set up in night mode.
Was fairly satisfied, but the washing especially for stained clothes was not up to scratch.
Some times the clothes would still come out with minor marks of the stains. So overall would just give it average ratings but if you are looking to keep in your chic apartment, this might do the job, Experience of using it for more than 2 years.

Hi Vik, to assist with stains I recommend using a stain remover and letting the clothes soak in warm water before putting the clothes in the washing machine. Kind regards, Ariston Brand.

WARNING WARNING WARNING
A CON....from the outset. Despite having had an earlier model which didnt stop for ten years. Now it seems that Ariston (Indesit group of washers) have BUILT IN OBSOLESCENCE.
What is more, they fault code it to look like it is one (simple) thing when it is probably another.
Having a coded eprom might make it possible for them to use the same electronic pcb in many of their makes and models, but it means that replacing it costs us twice. 1st for the pcb and then nearly as much for the eprom coding. RIPPED OFF.
So thanks for nothing.

Have a funny smell and quite loud
I had this for almost 4 years now. It cleans quite well but it is also loud, so don't turn it on at night. It does have funny smell when I use the dryer, but I am not sure it happens for all the dryer-washing machine combo or only this particular one.

run...RUN...then RUN
My sister bought this machine for me. She's wealthy and thought buying one of the most expensive machines in Harvey Norman would be a safe & reliable machine for me.
I haven't told her of the many issues I had with my Ariston but finally, after only less than 2 years, the machine died. I raced to The Good Guys and got myself a great SIMPSON.

Just bought an rv with this washer and I have no idea what the pictures mean on the program dial and can't find it on the online owners manual?

I used this appliance in an apartment I stayed in. As far as I can work out it is a steam dryer. It took 4 hours to dry clothes. The washer took 30 minutes.
I searched for information on the web and only found negative comments about the dryer.

Hi, I am having trouble with this machine, the clothes are still dirty after the wash - wondering what is best cycle to remove stains etc . I feel I must be missing something
Shelley G.asked
My machine is saying h20 it’s been doing it for a while and all I had to do was change the settings and it will wash like normal basically every time I start a load it will come up with h20 I then pause change the settings And press unpause and it will work. But now changing the settings isn’t even fixing it every single time it says h20 no matter what I do. There isn’t a blockage and the house is levelled right. What else could be causing this?

Hi Shelley,
It is difficult to determine the issue without seeing the machine. It would be best to give Arisit Technical Support a call on 1300 762 219 to see if they can recommend a fix or if they think a technician should come out to have a look.
