Not only does this oven look great, it is wonderful to cook with, the 5 burner stove is well thought out and works really well when you've got a few pots and pans on the go. Oven size is awesome, haven't had any problems fitting in awkward trays and pans. An absolute pleasure to cook on and so happy that I could get the best of both worlds with the gas top and electric oven.

I bought Ariston cp059mdx last August, only 5 month the oven right light doesn't work. Because it's in the 5 years warranty I call back Harvey Norman hoppers crossing where I bought it. They said you have to change the light ball yourself it's not be covered in the warranty. That's horrible .

Bought a house with an Ariston CPD059MDX oven in it (about 4 years old then) - the door has never shut properly it sits out about 10mm but we thought it was normal but have read on this site that it should fit flush and now the oven door won't open as the hinge is stuck
We have also had the fan and element replaced 18 months ago oven is now probably about 7 years old

For starters, the gas cooktop is just fine and does a brilliant job and it looks great - end of positives!
The oven itself has been nothing but trouble. We've had it for 5 years and during that time the seal has needed replacing twice and has deteriorated to the point of breaking again! The element has been replaced along with the thermostat twice, and it has also gone AGAIN, The grill is all warped. I never know if tr's going to work or not, if it's going to take 10 minutes to burn something to a crisp or 3 hours to bake a batch of muffins! It's really just been nothing but trouble and a gigantic pain in the neck.
. We haven't had any problems with any other appliances or our electricity supply - it's just this inferior item.

Owned this oven for 11 years. Top oven grill has been replaced twice after warping and twisting, just ordered the third one for $100. Door seal was replaced once during warranty and twice after that. They cost $60 and come with no warranty brand new...if the silver clip slips out of the seal one week later, too bad, buy another one. Finally decided to repair with heat proof silicone, works great.

BTW, Also bought an Ariston dishwasher and pull out Range Hood at the same time. Nothing but trouble. D/W repaired under warranty 6 times in first ...

Very well designed.
This cooker is great. Very clever gas hob lay out. The 2 on the left are the same size meaning you can put a large hot plate over them both and it will heat evenly. The wok burner is extremely hot and the centre jet can be controlled independently for very low simmer or very small pots. The oven heats quickly and cooks very evenly.

I had to replace oven seal within months of purchasing this oven. The new one didnt last long and broke in the same place, and I am also looking to replace it. Wish I had never bought this oven even though it does cook well. The seals cost around $119 each time. It has lots of good features but mine came with the easy cleaning sides but not the top of the oven which is so hard to clean. The oven looks impressive in the kitchen and the gas cooktop is very good but i dont like the oven.

We've had our oven for 3 years, in that time the grill stopped working after two weeks of purchase, now the oven stopped working 3 weeks ago. It's within warranty but ariston refuse to replace it as they say the damage was caused by a power surge which never happened. Avoid avoid avoid.

We love the oven, great gas burners that pump out the heat. Oven works very nicely, and we like the rotisserie. Large oven means you can cook quite a bit in it. Love the recessed controls. Customer service so far has been excellent.

Great unit, I like the recessed dials and easy to read symbols. The dual wok burner controls I find really useful and it has a very functional layout. The oven bakes very evenly. Only downside I've found is the cast iron trivets can scratch the top easily as they are only slightly recessed into the unit. As long as extra care is taken when removing and fitting them it isn't a problem.

After a long Kitchen refurbishment, the new Ariston cooker fitted perfectly into it's space.
I love the design and the quality is amazing.
The service over the phone/email is also great.

Terrible customer service. Glass in oven door exploded for no apparent reason. Only one service /repair man in WA who stated "just letting you know that this company is terrible to deal with". 5 months on we still have no replacement glass and repair man has now washed his hand of the repair. Original order was never processed despite multiple promises that all was ok, second order was delayed as the entire Italian factory that produces the glass ( no supplies kept in Australia), went on holiday and again forgot to process the order. Love my oven. Cooking time reduced from previous oven. Unfortunately it hs static on the panel and call the technician but till today do not know why. FYI I am in Kuala Lumpur. This kind of range oven is seldom purchased cz it is consider pricy. I bought this for RM8k. Today after using for 3yrs the alarm timer make a very soft sound. Has anyone encounter this problem?

oven is nice to look at but have had the hinges replaced within 6 months of getting the oven now the grille element has failed and hanging down in oven and on the week end the oven thermostats failed and the oven went into overdrive and set fire to the pie in it filling the house with smoke and setting off the fire alarms and have the same complaint as other reviewrs the decals come off too easily
when it works cooks fantastically
too many things going wrong with it is only a couple of years old

We bought this Ariston cooker about a month ago and I just love it. The cooking times are so much quicker then the old one (also from Italy - well I'm not convinced) anyways. Much easier to clean and the oven is a dream. Again cooking times are much reduced. BTW the Oven is self cleaning. Also the oven fan is very quite. Just as a BTB we were also given a Raco cook set. But that wasn't a deal breaker, but still very nice saucepans anyway.

We have only been using our stove for 3 weeks but have been very happy with it's performance thus far. We have entertained family and friends and found it to be more than adequate for doing a roast and having pots and pans going on top. Very happy. Looking forward to many years of favourable use.

Firstly never owned a 900mm stove before - the sheer size and space is magnificent, especially in the oven. Everything cooks beautifully and the sheer length of warranty gives peace of mind that the manufacturers have faith in the reliability of their product. So happy I relied on the salesperson's advice and purchased the Ariston 90 stand alone cooker instead of another brand I had set my mind on!
Looks stylish, modern and eventhough we had to raise it up to our higher than norman bench height, it was well worth it
Nothing at the moment - time will tell. Very positive that nothing will go wrong.

Having had Ariston before, had no second thoughts in getting another. Love the fabulous oven, adore the wok burner - in all - a very good oven and have no regrets about buying that brand again and would not hesitate to recommend to our friends wanting a new oven

We researched upright cookers for 6 months as we were renovating the kitchen, and are so pleased we decided to purchase the Ariston CP 059 MDX. We purchased in August 2013, but had to wait to use the cooker unti the new kitchen was installed, it's first use was Christmas Day lunch for 15 people it coped magnificently . We particularly wanted an efficient wok burner ( do lots of wok cooking) and this has the biggest capacity. Had the same issue with the door dropping within months of being installed allowing the heat to escape and therefore decals peeled off. Service provider was reluctant to provide any service and blamed us for the issues. Twice we had door hinges replaced, the front panel replaced. Now out of warranty and 5 years old the hinges have gone again, fan forced element broken, fan not working, top element broken and decals have peeled off.
I would like to repair these issues but parts are very difficult and expensive to obtain with no online information from manufacturer.
Would never buy Ariston again and would not recommend these ovens to any consumer.

Very bad service and quality

We have had a freestanding oven before and we needed something a little more robust. The Ariston is the workhorse of our kitchen and we absolutely love it. The various oven functions cater for all of our types of baking and cooking needs. It is very user friendly and really easy to use and understand. In particular the rotisserie is above it's class.
The layout of the hobs could be better (only compared to other layouts we have seen on the market) but this does not hinder how we cook our meals on the Gas hobs. I love this oven and I would defi...

I am very pleased with my new upright cooker, the five burners work well. However the oven does take quite a while to heat. I found the instruction manual lacking for the different variations of the stove and it takes some time to understand how it all works. Overall it is satisfactory

We recently purchased the Ariston electric oven with gas cooktop. So far, we love it!! There is a range of cooking options which we are having fun trying out. We have renovated our whole kitchen and we think this oven is modern and stylish and compliments our kitchen very well. There are 5 gas cooktops too which is convenient when cooking for our family. The brand is a little more expensive but you definitely get a good quality item.

We recently purchased the 90cm Ariston electric oven with gas cook top. We are very pleased with the stove. The oven cooks wonderfully and produces very even heat. It was easy to cook on with several items going at once. Christmas lunch was a breeze.

Its easy to clean and looks amazing in our kitchen.

We recently purchased this 90cm freestanding stove and rangehood at Harvey Norman Coburg, where we were demonstrated this model by a salesman by the name of Tran; who was knowledgable of the various cookware products available (showing us the special features of this product). Although not the original product we were wanting to by, we were easily sold!
