Really enjoying my new Aseako Alto
Main reason for buying my Aseako Alto is to improve my fitness. I find the build quality to be first rate and the bike itself certainly seems to flatten out the hills in my area. The technical support from the guys at Aseako has been first rate. Ride like the wind, enjoy.
Purchased in November 2021.

WOW hold on to your hat
Wanted to lose some weight but being unfit I went with the electric Alto bike to start off with. From purchase to delivery was 3 days and when the bike arrived I was surprised how well the bike was made, looked great and rode very well. One word of warning, these are not toy bikes, they are a seroius machine with pleanty of grunt. Going up hills are a breeze. Suggestion; make sure you buy a good helmet as thes things can fly if you want them too.

Just the bike for me.
I suffered a motorcycle accident a few years ago and am left with some permanent disabilities. An acquaintance had me try riding his E-bike and I loved it. After some research I bought the Aseako Alto, an upgraded model, because among other things, it was a step-through of solid design. I can honestly say that I haven't looked back since. Besides being a very practical machine, I love the independence of getting around no matter what headwind or hill may be in front of me. Every week I'll ride on streets, paths, through parks, and even on the b...Read more
each if the sand is firm. Whenever I get my helmet out of the cupboard my dog is waiting to go, tail running like a propellor hoping its the park or beach. If you're thinking of an E-bike take a look at Pro-Electric Bikes, I'm glad I did.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

So far so good
I bought this bike (Alto) for my wifes 50th Birthday present as she was having trouble keeping up with me on our rides and her knee has also been bothering her for some time. I did quite a bit of research online and also I visited a few bike shops, but the main reason I went with the Alto in the end was that a good friend of my mine has been riding a Aseako Tourney model for over a year and swears by the bike and especially the after sales service.
The bike is heavier than my normal push bike which makes it a little harder to get on my bike ...Read more
rack, but apart form that, its been a godsend for my wife as she is a different person now when we go riding and no longer complains about hills or her dodgy knee aching when we get home (happy wife happy life). So far so good.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Takes the Mosman Hills with Ease
After some research of the electric bike market I finally decided on an Aseako Alto electric bike which I bought over the phone from Pro Electric Bikes - it was a hard decision as there are quite a few choices in the electric bike market and the prices vary significantly.
Assembly took my husband and I about 30 - 40 mins.
We live near Awaba st, Mosman which is in Sydney's North; Awaba street is one of the steepest streets I have ever come across and its impossible for me to ride up this street on a normal bicycle, even though I am quite ...Read more
fit its just not enjoyable at all. I am extremely happy to report that I can ride up this long steep hill with ease in low gear. I called Aseako after my initial ride and thanked them and told them they had a terrific product which will make my life much easier as Awaba St is only one of the hills in my immediate area; I am surrounded by hills! Great Bike
I have just had my first ride on my new ALTO bicycle and already know this has been a good investment.I found it easy to ride once the motor "kicked in",but very heavy and awkward to actually get started - on my second ride I found a little throttle solves most of this issue. There have also been another couple of things I need to learn better control over, but I stress these issues are not due to a fault in the bike, simply things a new rider needs to understand and get used to.
Solid and well made.
A little heavy - but manageable.

I do not have the zoco bike,I have Aseako Alto and I love it.Took a bit of getting used to but I have no regrets.I guess it will depend what you want it to do,how much you paid and how you use it.You are the only one who can decide.
i would like to retract my comment about my new zoco e-bike, made on 18/06/13. i had a wrong idea about how an e-bike performs, & how it should be ridden. the zoco rep. has since clarified my misconceptions.

We had the alto aseako bike for 4 years but the battery is not working now. We are not sure why the barteery does not. How long does the battery last? We checked the price of a new battery and they were quite expensive.

As you are probably aware - batteries do not last forever and eventually need replacing. Best bet is to get in touch with Pro Electric Bikes & ask them the same questions. They are very helpful.

Hi I haven't used my aseako bike for twelve months and now the bike isn't working - no power. Do you have any suggestions maybe I have to buy a new battery ? Linda

Hi Linda, Please email us direct on [email protected] or call us on 07 5448 9418 and we will ask some question and advise.
I suggest you connect the charger to the bike, disconnect the power outlet lead from the battery, and leave the battery on the charger for 24 hours or so. If the battery is dead flat it may slowly accumulate enough charge to kickstart the charging process proper. Then charge it to completion.
If that fails, contact Aseako. A new battery may be needed.
For future reference: all modern batteries should be maintained as close as possible to fully charged at all times. So frequent connection to the charger is a must. I connect mine through a surge-protected power board with overload cutout. It is quite safe to leave it unattended on the charger; to even leave the house and go on holidays with it on the charger to maintain charge.
