Brilliant after sales service
The bike is a workhorse, is comfortable and has a good range. I do a round trip 55km commute and the bike is great. It's got good speed and gives a good kick along at take-off. I do a round trip 55km commute and is no worries with the Tourney.
I recently had to do a repair and got fast and comprehensive advice on how to do the job along with a fast delivery of the parts. They sent a video on the procedure to replace the main bearing that was easy to follow and helpful.

Bought my Aseako Tourney bike near 4 years ago after having a total knee replacement, I can ride it like a normal bike or ride with electric power assist or just let the bike do the work. I live in a very hilly area I am nearly 75 years after having a mountain bike for many years and enjoyed my bike riding for the exercise it gave me strength back in my legs. No problems apart from normal bike maintenance Excellent sales and support from Brett..

Excellent with the 15.6Ah Battery
I Purchased a Tourney and a Cruiser 2 months ago after extensive research. They had to be versatile as my wife and I had differing needs for the e-bikes.. Hers is to be used solely for use when we are Motorhoming, which is at least once per month and it had to have a basket to carry our miniature Dachshund when shopping!
Mine is for multi use (the Tourney) as it is to use when we are Motorhoming and as a 3days a week exercise bike when I ride approximately 50 Kms.
I purchased a Yakima bike rack to carry the two bikes on our motorhome and whil...Read more

The feeling of freedom!
After suffering a stroke, I am unable to drive anymore or walk very far as it is too painfull. With this bike I can ride most places. My wife and I both bought an aeseko bike, mine a tourney and hers a cruiser. We are very happy with our bikes and recommend them to anyone. We are currently touring around oz with our camper and have our bikes with us. The feeling of having freedom to get around is life saving! Thank you Brett and Aeseco!

Good Customer service and good bicycle.
I bought this Bicycle more than one year ago, and I used it so much. Maybe for my fault, i got few problems with few parts. But the owner is a very friendly person and he's tried to solve all problems.
I used this bicycle to ride off road on sandy and rocky tracks. And I used it to ride in town.
Just take care of your bike...
Thanks

y. We have since contacted Mattia and have clarified that he has only had a couple problems with the bike. The first was a legitimate warranty issue which he contacted us about quite a while ago and it was quickly resolved. The current issue is only the 2nd issue and after discussion appears that it is not necessarily a part issue but most likely a maintenance issue as a result of the type of terrain he is using the bike in. We are however working with Mattia to assist in getting him back up and riding as quickly as possible.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very Surprised.
Bought Aseako Tourney second hand a few days ago, was very surprised with build and performance of this model. I had been thinking about purchasing an electric bike for sometime but with so many different types, motor power, battery output and price it would have be quite easy to make an expensive mistake. The Tourney was for sale locally and after having a good read of the info on the web decided to check it out. First impression was of a really well made, sturdy bike. The biggest surprise was when I had a go of it. The pedal assist is excellen...Read more
t and makes the bike so easy to ride especially for an old chap like me. It didn't take long to part with the cash and take possession of this amazing bike. First trip was from sellers house to mine, 12 kms, with some long, steep hills. I survived only because of the pedal assist and being able to use the motor and gears. The motor driven central crank allows you to use the gears to their best for the conditions. Go buy one. You won't be disappointed.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very Happy I purchased Aseako Bikes.
My wife and I are both in our 60's, following an overseas holiday where we hired and rode E Bikes for the first time, we decided to purchase two new E bikes.
These E bikes make riding a pleasure, no more struggling against head winds and going up hills. For those looking to increase their fitness without joining the lycra and road racing set, E Bikes are a great option.
I chose Aseako bikes because of the central drive motor, this makes a rear wheel removal easy compared to a hub drive motor and also the motor drives through the gears.

This is a beast of a Bike. I love it !!
I bought the large frame 250 watt Tourney with the 15amp battery approx 2 weeks ago. i started riding it to work and it is an amazing ride. I am not a small person. I weigh over 120kgs and I look small on this bike ( well that might be an exaggeration) It propels me and the weight of the bike along very nicely. Even though it is an electric bike I still get the road bikes passing me but no matter I don't mind I did not get the bike for its speed. A friend of mine who is quite light and an avid bike rider went for a test ride and he was moving. ...Read more
The bike is very strong and handles hills very nicely. I even get a work out lifting the 28 kg frame onto the bike racks when I get to work. It is one of the best things I have done for a while. I also like it because I still get a work out as you have to pedal. I only use the throttle to assist in initial take off. It will eventually pay for itself as I will not longer need to commute via public transport, infact I get to work and home again quicker than the public transport and the bike paths in our area are great.. If you are looking for something different, definitely give this a go.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
best thing i have bruoght in a long time
I am 67 and overweight bought this bike before xmas with 36v 15amp battery the build is excellent. The reason I brought the tourney was because I liked the look of the bike no other reason. where I ride there is allot of small to medium hills so mostly use medium to high power and it is a pleasure to ride. Would I recommend this bike yes.
The only problem I had was the gears being a bit jumpy but after a bit of trial and error was able to adjust them.
now it changes smoothly. thanx

Beast of a bike
I am 200cm tall, 95kg and have the large frame Tourney.
The bike is a tank - coming from a regular bike it's like going back to a HZ Holden. It is clearly build for strength and is extremely sturdy. As you'd expect, part of the boost of the motor compensates for the extra weight.
There are three assist settings: Low, Medium, High. With my body mass on a flat road:
- Low barely compensates for the extra weight, and feels the same as riding a regular bike.
- Medium gives a small boost
- High really propels you along. If you pedal the s...Read more

Excellent value in a sturdy good looking electric bike.
I purchased a Aseko Tourney from Pro Electric in Aug 2014. It arrived quickly (to WA) and was fairly easy to assemble. I live in a hilly country area and it was the hills that put me off any sort of bike riding. I found the tourney to be a sturdy (Im 90 kgs) bike with a very comfortable seat, easy to learn how to use and excellent at getting up hills. My street is some 700m long, fairly steep with a gravel uphill drive for another 70m or so. The Tourney managed all this on 3 power and 5 or 6 speed with my only input a continuous pedal.

Does exactly what it claims
Very few times do you come across a product that is able to deliver what it advertises. In this instance I was pleasantly surprised that the bicycle exceeded all my expectations. In recent times I have put on quite a bit of weight and every time I tried to get on my regular bicycle I would find myself getting sick within 2 weeks due to over exertion. The electric bike was able to assist me over the hills and allowed me to pedal when the road flattened out. I used the electric bike for about 2 months and switched over to my normal bike. on I have dropped from 105Kg to 88Kg and I am cycling close to 200Km a week on my normal bike. I could not have done it without the initial help of the electric bike. My wife is now using the bike to join me on rides and she too will be swapping it for a normal bike when the time comes. Then the bike is off to grandma ! As far as the bike goes I never ran the battery flat and I cycled up to 40Km through undulating terrain. I never came across a hill where the bike could not assist me getting up. I did have a problem where the pedal broke off the crank but the part was replaced immediately with no questions asked. I would highly recommend this product. Satisfied so far!
Just bought a Tourney with the 250w motor and upgraded to a 15ah battery. The service, buying the bike and emails from the distributer re delivery were very prompt and easy to deal with. It took me about 3 hours to put it all together ( in the lounge room ). I took it for a couple of hours ride last Sunday. It went well, but I do have a couple of issues.
Very strong well engineered bike, comfortable and easy to use within the 1st 5 minutes. - great price.

Very similar feel to a surfboard ride.
I test rode my new (250W) Tourney for a km or two, just to get the feel of it. Then I gave it a try at lowest power. Then medium. Then full bore.
I can only liken the feeling to that moment on a surfboard when the wave is caught, and you have this sudden surge of power moving you in towards the beach. The bike just flies along the road. I have also tried it out uphill over soft grassy ground, with equally impressive results.
The ease with which I can get up to speed, and stay there.
I still have not worked out the hand throttle. It starts the bike going from a standing start, but will not keep it going, cutting out after 10 seconds or so. What might I be doing wrong?

25kph on the pedal assist - hence why your throttle cuts out after a short while. If you plan on taking your bike off road, then you can easily disable your speed limiter in a matter of seconds so that the bike is no longer limited on throttle and pedal assist.I have now worked out the hand throttle. Works a treat, and I use it all the time.

Great for my daily commute
I have been commuting to and from work on my Tourney for a little over 6 weeks now and find it fantastic as my commute involves one substantial hill and a few smallish hills. Apart from when I am riding up the hills I usually ride the bike using low or med power and then switch to high when I encounter the steeper hills; that allows me to keep exercising daily, but also stops me killing myself on the hills.
I did find that I was leaning over a bit too much, as I do like my seat a little higher than most as I am quite tall, so I needed to be ...Read more
able to raise the handlebars somehow. The handlebars do raise on the Tourney, but they raise on a diagonal angle, which was not high enough for me. I emailed [name removed] at Aseako and he suggested I try the “Satori Heads up 4” stem riser as other customers had recommended this to him. I actually ended up buying the “Satori Easy Up adjustable” riser for $45 instead as it raises the bars much higher than I need but I felt it was good to have the option to raise the handlebars higher or lower at will; I recommend the “Satori Easy Up” stem riser to any buyer who wants this upright position, its made such a difference and well worth the $45. Overall the bike has been a good investment and customer service has been responsive pre and post sale. Good on the hills, attractive looking electric bike Being 6'1' I needed the handlebars higher to enable a comfortable riding position - adding the Satori riser was gold!2 comments
Hi, can you please tell me if the Satori easy up stem riser was easy to fit, or did you have to get a bike shop to fit it? Cheers Brian
It was pretty easy to fit, about 10 mins. But if you are unsure, just buy the riser from a bike shop and they would more than likely fit it for you?

What is the charging system, and how long to cherge?
What is the weight of a Tourney?
1 answer
It's a standard 12v battery charger that takes around 2 hours to fully charge the 10 amp battery.
The Tourney weighs in at a hefty 28 kg with the battery.
I have one and for the price it is a very good bike, except that I can only get a range of about 20kms out of one charge.

Anybody in the wider adelaide region have an Aseako Tourney or Rossi or Zoco in a large frame. I just want to have a look to see if it is too small for me at 6ft3 inches and 120kg. Thanks, Sean (in Athelstone but willing to travel.)
2 answers
Looking at the sizes in height length there is only a slight difference with seat adjustment you could ride either check on Aseako web site under specs
I'm in Melbourne and am 6'4" and put a long seat pole on the Tourney and it's a good fit. Bigger wheels would be good but it does the job pretty well as is.
Bertyasked
Can’t seem to find this magnet on my spokes could it be somewhere else on bike?

Brett R.Aseako
Hi Berty,
Thanks for your question. I assume you are referring to the speed sensor magnet. It is always either on one of the front or rear spokes depending on he model but that is the only place it can be unless it has fallen off.
If you need any furtehr assistance it is best to contact us direct at [email protected] so we can assist more specifically.
Regards
Hi Berty there is a speed sensor & magnet on the rear wheel to limit the speed to no more than 25 KMPH other sensor & magnets are on the LH crack pedal shaft to give pedal assisted power..
