Great laptop - no complaints
Bought from JB at as good a price as I could find it about halfway through 2015. Now end of 2017 and it's still going strong, no issues.
Not a gaming machine, but powerful enough for everything I need, including word processing, internet, audio recording and mixing, photo editing and some basic video editing (any mildly-complex graphics makes video editing projects start going pretty slow).
Traveled overseas with it multiple times in a lightweight pouch and it was great. Would definitely purchase a 2nd hand one again.

Asus labtops have a local authorised repair centre in Western Australia
13 inch touch screen laptop. Bought from JB HIFI Enex100 Perth City, advised as a top laptop that will exceed any requirement up to senior high school. Yes paid a lot more than most other models. Wanted a sturdy fast laptop, can use this for gaming or designing. This is an update to a previous 2 star negative review I placed on the Asus laptop model, prior to discovering that Asus have a crazy good Perth Asus authorised repairer here. Bought for school. multiple high opening and closing the lid, advised by top repairer required a new screen. But I need to see an authorised dealer. Ouch, very unhappy as $$$, read plenty of comments hinge issue with Asus. Then called Perth Asus authorised repairer in Wangara. I ordered a new screen, quoted cost few hundred, was slightly cheaper than what the non authorised repairer estimated, so agreed. Service over telephone little more complicated as english was not persons first language. However, the part was ordered, over telephone, saving a trip to their office. Arrived within 3 days. Communication by text was prompt and efficient, I turned up and they were willing to repair while we waited. Instead of a charge of well over $300 I was told, ($450 by a well respected non-authorised repairer) I was charged a bit over $60. Labour charge was $11, told no charge. The lid I ordered was not used as my mistake as I listened to the other firm. I wasn't charged for postage or trouble from my own order mistake. Took 30 minutes to repair. Product I rate 3 (I paid around $1700) so I expect good product performance for $. The Asus Perth service I rate 100% so a 5/5 star. I now value after market service higher than the product. Becoming rare that the manufacturer will provide 100% service with affordable quick prompt customer service! And Asus laptops have a local WA authorised repairer that were fantastic. If buying a laptop look for a local repairer who focus on positive outcome for customer, it's invaluable.
