One of the best companies I have ever dealt with

published

Connected to NBN using Aussie broadband as our server after Optus failed miserably with their customer service. The service from Aussie has been exceptional. We have had technical issues with the NBN ( not Aussie fault ) rather a NBN infrastructure problem, and Aussie has troubleshooted with us with patience and expertise. They have gone beyond my expectations with their service. No long wait times, technicians are helpful, patient and friendly. Highly recommend this telco as a provider for all of your internet and phone needs. Thankyou Aussie broadband

Best service I’ve received

published

Didn’t catch the name of the technician who helped me today, but after having problems with my router after a factory reset gone wrong, couldn’t be happier with the service I received today. The technician was very patient and very helpful. We tried every option for almost 1.5 hours and got success, whilst also learning some good things along the way. 100% would recommend.

SO much faster than my last "25 Mbps NBN" with Tangerine. I hit 25 Mbps 80% of the time, instead of 3Mbps. It is more expensive, but totally worth it. Please use my referral code if you sign up: [link removed]

The best Nbn provider

published

What can I say I never thought I would come across a Company with a customer service as excellent as Aussie broadband always such great help and so easy to deal with. Phone wait times aren’t Ridiculously long. So glad I switched over from Optus took only only 20-30 mins till I was connected with them haven’t had any serious issues with them yet. A super easy app to use and navigate. By far the coolest Telco in Australia will never change over to anyone

The connection has so far been very reliable, I have experienced no dropouts to date and had no issues, the service representatives on the phone when I signed up were honest and helpful and were honest about the speeds I could achieve, they did not try to oversell me a product my service could never achieve.

Simply the only company to connect with

published

I've been with AussieBB for 3 months now and extremely satisfied with their service and communication. Everything worked straight out of the box. Love their emails and texts - they make be feel like a valued customer. At the time of connection (Feb 2020), it was $5/month more than other telcos according to what I was needing, and $5 isn't a lot to pay for to speak to an Aussie help desk. AussieBB allows you to bundle a free VOIP landline number (just pay for calls) which is great considering 4G signal is a little weak where we are. I understand everyone's circumstances and service needs are different, but for me, AussieBB ticks all the boxes so far. Not a service outrage in the past 3 months - champions!

Great service by a local company

published

We recently switched to Aussie on the NBN after many years of ADSL2 service with another provider. We were impressed by the great reviews that Aussie was receiving and, more importantly, that they were a local company based in Victoria in the Latrobe Valley. While our old provider used to have a call centre in Australia, this was gradually being moved offshore resulting in a reduced level of service. Aussie made the switch to the NBN hassle free and their service has been professional and faultless. Speeds are more than adequate for our needs and there are no bottlenecks when we use streaming services such as ABC iview or Netflix. Overall we are very happy with our move to Aussie and the service they provide.

I am an new customer with Aussie BB having been with one of the major telcos for many years. Altho early days, so far the experience with Aussie has been very positive. I had a few early issues with accessing emails via Aussie BB on a tablet but the local (Australian based) helpdesk people were able to help me sort that out very quickly.

It is not often that a service is as good as the TV commercials claim but Aussie Broadband has been up to now perfect .Installed when they said it would be no fuss at all.I was told my nbn connection would be about 23mbs at peak hours that is correct have had no problems at all. I like the way they keep in touch with me if there is maintenance on my service .It was a big step for me to change from ii net to Aussie Broadband but i am very glad i did. Keep up the good work

Will this include free cabling inside the house, NBN modem and a VOIP service with transported phone number?

2 answers

amcmanus2000

Cabling inside the house is up to you. Aussie BB will provide the NBN modem, and telephony service, if required. I use my mobile for all calls so opted to go without a phone number, but I'm sure 'porting your number from your current provider wouldn't be an issue.

Aussie Broadband
Official RepAussie Broadband

Hi Ian,internal cabling will be up to you, but nbn will install a nbn modem (you may be able to negotiate this somewhat) but they do have regulations that they must follow. If it's not placed where you want it, then you'll need to hire a licenced cabler to move it where you want it. We will port your number should you request it and we do provide VoIP plans with the starter plan being $0, but pay for all calls. Our sales team can explain more, and are available on our website's live chat or by calling 1300 880 905. Cheers, Mel
