Great service and support.
Just changed from another providers adsl2 plan. I am blown away with the speed we are getting with Aussie Broadband NBN. Call centre staff were excellent with the initial install and setup. Not to mention the follow up service was great. Could not recommend them them highly enough.

Satisfied
Connection been quite reliable but lately have experienced a few outages. Connection within Australia is fantastic fast but connection to USA it is half the speed. Customer service is always great.

Easy and reliable service. Friendly and efficient helpline
There was a rare outage. I appreciated that I was informed about it when it was discovered as well as when it was rectified. Overall very reliable and fast service.

Great service app and website. Very happy
Really good service and customer support. Ordering my plan was easy and simple on their website.
They are also really transparent and provide a lot more information compared to their competitors about their network and current load.
My speeds are fantastic and are consistently fast even during peak times.

Aussie Broadband are an excellent choice for your internet provider
First things first, all providers in Australia are limited by the appalling NBN infrastructure - certainly in my case being on FTTN - but hopefully this improves over time. I have a friend in the U.K. who is getting 568mbps down speed. It makes me cry to see how far behind Australia is with internet infrastructure.
I was previously with iiNet getting 28mbps but changed to Aussie Broadband because I was sick of waiting for 1-2 hours to speak to someone. Aussie Broadband are based in Traralgon and have employed many of the former staff from the...Read more
Hazelwood power station so you will always speak to an Aussie. I think that makes a significant difference for a lot of my customers, especially the older ones who have trouble understanding Asian, Indian or South African (iiNet) accents. Plus you always speak directly to a human, rather than having to navigate through an annoying and confusing automated system. The plans are good and you aren't forced to have extra products, such as a home phone so you can get spammed by overseas scammers, or having to pay for their modem. If you already have your own modem then you can just choose to use it for their service. Obviously taking into account how old that modem will be important. If it's more than 4 years old then just get their one. However, I've never been a fan of Netcomm or Belkin modems and generally prefer TP-Link, Netgear or Billion as they have better components, tend to be 'smarter' and last longer. I have had my issues with my internet connection but, as I said at the start, this is down to the appalling infrastructure rather than Aussie Broadband themselves. I blame Telstra as they let the copper network degrade to the point of not working before they sold it all to the goverment for a HUGE profit at the outset. For me, as an I.T. support specialist it was incredibly frustrating! The same old excuse was 'the NBN is coming; so no, we won't be fixing this customer's internet.' They made this excuse for the four or more years before they handed it over. Anyway, I have no isues with Aussie Broadband. They are honest, they are friendly and veyr helpful. They have their own speed test that logs your results to your account so if you need to discuss any speed issues with them then they have a record available to analyse. This is a much better system than me previously having to use ozspeedtest.com or speedtest.net to log my speed then save the results as a jpog or add a calender event for the test. I encourage everyone to run a speed test regularly, perhaps twice a day, to make sure your speed is not falling - present times not included obviously. Everyone's internet has taken a hit right now with so many people being home.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent service and interactions!
I had problems with NBN dropping out. Contacted Aussie broadband and was escalated quickly. The techs who came to fix were wonderful. The Aussie broadband folks I dealt with couldn't have been kinder and more caring in a difficult situation in that they are working from home with limited access to their usual business set up.
They even followed up with phone calls for a couple of weeks just to ensure all was perfect. Best company I've dealt with in a long time!

Excellent!
Very honest advice received. Were advised we were quite a distance from the node and best to start with the cheapest option and then see what speeds we were getting- with no lock in contracts this is easily done. The speed has turned out exactly what Aussie Broadband predicted - although we are on the 25GB plan our connection never goes over 16GB (This is due to the NBN connection & has nothing to do with Aussie Broadband) - again exactly what was advised. This lower speed tho’ is still more than enough to allow us to stream movies etc without ...Read more
any interruption. Aussie Broadband make regular contact by email to see if all is going well - fantastic customer service. We also had no problems whatsoever with setting up ourselves and we are ‘Seniors’. Any phone enquiry is promptly answered in very patient & clear terms. Our previous overseas Provider was extremely difficult to deal with. Thank you Aussie Broadband for being such a fantastic company - DONT change a thing!Similar opinion? Excellent Speed. Very Happy
I have signed up with AussieBB since Feb 2020 and have had excellent speeds since connection. I have mostly been getting between 88 to 95mb/s for my 100mb/s plan. i love that it is month-to-month so i am not locked into a contract. Their app is user friendly and can even remotely kick the connection, this was the reason i picked them after reviewing a few others.

A Breath of Fresh Air
Recently changing to Aussie Broadband has been like a breath of fresh air. The service is very reliable and the speeds achieved actually meet or exceed their advertised averages. It is so nice to deal with a business that actually seems interested in delivering on what they promise. Their communication has been timely, accurate and professional. It has been such a different experience to our previous provider. I can’t recommend Aussie Broadband more highly.

Aussie Broadband has been fantastic. The speed never drops below 90Mbps, their customer service is great, the person you talk to is located in Australia, actually knows what they are talking about and is the same person who can activate your service.

Now, I have a lot to say about the botched rollout of NBN, however, AussieBB has gone above and beyond to supply our home with a super fast and very reliable internet connection. We are extremely happy, while I have one playing Fortnite, I can have the other watching HD Netflix, another watching YouTube and another playing some other online game without anyone yelling at each other to get off the internet or hotspot their mobile connection as a backup. Great Company
Great company, great communication. I've used a lot of NBN companies and Aussie Broadband is the stand out winner. Great customer support. We had a lot of drop outs and slow speeds for years. After raising the issue with other providers Aussie Broadband was the only one who contacted NBN co and got someone to come out and fix it. They are competitive in pricing but they're just great for customer service. I wouldn't use anyone else now.

Why did I wait so long?
Contactable, efficient, organised, really friendly, good speed and all from Morwell...wow! I use the NBN for work - streaming videos and classes. Having a reliable service is as important as having someone on the end of the phone in case of a problem. Aussie really hasn't missed a beat, so far.

Great customer service and great NBN provider
I haven't had an issue with the service even during these COVID-19 times. Only have experienced a short outage in the two months i have been with them and they informed me of it and also informed me when it was over - (30 mins or so).
I would highly recommend Aussie Broadband as they have great customer service and fast and reliable NBN.

Good customer service and decent speeds. Although I never do hit 100 Mbps, it does still reach speeds of up to 94-95.
No issues, a drop out once but nothing else otherwise. Fixed before could even make a call. Call centre staff are quite helpful and have provided clear instructions on how to resolve things.

Great NBN performance. Excellent proactive technical support.
I had an FTTN connection with Telstra. After installing the equipment to upgrade to FTTP, I contacted Telstra and was told the switchover would take 10 business days. By comparison, I picked up the Aussie Broadband modem from the Post Office around 9 AM and received an SMS from Aussie around midday the same day saying the switchover to FTTP had been activated. The connection has been very stable and follow-up service from the Aussie staff has been outstanding. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. I am so glad I made the change.

Signed up last night to only find out this morning there is a $10 saving per month over the next 6-months, spoke to some one on chat said they dont offer promotional codes over the phone and that you have to sign up via the link only. would of been nice if the consultant told me over the phone.

Hi Abel, we understand the frustration. Unfortunately those codes are available online only and the system applies the discount when confirming the online order so our consultants do not have the code. -Mel

Questions & Answers
Nick K.asked
I am about to Sign up with Aussie Broadband on a 50/20 plan. I am on FTTN. Anyone already with Aussie Broadband on FTTN with 50/20 plan?? If yes how is the speed that you are getting during peak hours (via Speedtest.net/Speakeasy.net)?
Would you recommend Aussie & this plan. I am in Hillside 3037 Victoria
Thanks
Nick

Hey Nick. It depends on the quality of your copper wiring to the node and how far you are from that node. For example: I am 1.2km from the node and the quality of the copper is terrible. My maximum possible speed is 37mbps but it proved to be too unstable to use so I went back down to 25/5. :'(
Most modems can tell you what your maximum connection speed is to the node if you log in and check the advanced connection summary settings.
AussieBB have put their hand up and state they will NEVER allow their service to be affected by speed issues, even during peak times. But the internet in general is about 5mbps slower than usual right now with so many people at home.
I would highly recommend NOT using Speedtest.net as they promote services from providers, including Foxtel, Optus, etc so the tests are not reliable as they may be giving you false readings to try and sell you a plan with someone else.
Use Aussie's own speed test here: http://speed.aussiebroadband.com.au/. Or https://www.ozspeedtest.com.
Official RepAussie Broadband
Hi Nick, FTTN, is really dependent on your distance from the node. We will send you a test to let you know your line capabilities after sign up. You can also run the line test in our app after sign up as well. Unfortunately, we cannot guess it prior to those tests. Hope that helps -Mel
