Australia Post

Posted a small parcel at Balwyn East at 9.30am on Monday 17 Feb. Delivery address about 100km away. Expected delivery time Monday 24 Feb. Aust Post can pay its CEO $6.5m but can't deliver a parcel in under a week. I could walk there faster. And I have to pay $9 for this pathetic service.

Australia Post services have become unbelievably slow over the last couple of years.
Even though mail is by air and sorted by robots!
Their prices increase for such an appalling service. They don't guarantee Priority, or Express postage, even though they take the money for it!
I have received mail from China faster than it takes to deliver from Perth to Tasmania!.
Typical of the Australian Corporate mentality these days. 'They' just keep taking the money for next to nothing in return !!

I have waited my butt off for my monitor it was late by about a week or two and now its apparently delivered I looked around my residence to find nothing not even a note for the monitor in the post office It has still not arrived overall disgusted on how this is Australian post its a insult to the name

Now, if i charged extra for a service in my business and didnt deliver, my customers would hold me to account.
I have had several packages that just sit in one place for a week before finally moving and delaying the delivery.
Shocking service that obviously needs a shake up.

My courier on chevron island, rob, is fantastic. Very friendly. Even knows my dogs name. He always has a smile on his face. I hope the bosses at Australia post see this and give him a pat on the back.

The staff at the post office are friendly and helpful. The time that it takes to get a parcel from Melbourne to Mackay is very very very slow. The contracted driver that delivers in my area rarely ever attempts to deliver to my door. But instead records it as attempted delivery and then I am expected to collect it the next day from the post office.

I post over 100 items per month mostly overseas for my online business. When i have a question in terms of Prices or options available they are very Helpful. The prices are reasonable.

Customer service takes weeks to respond each time, and then states things which are clearly untrue. We also had registered post delivered to a mailbox that clearly states "do not use", that the post did not fit into either, which was of course promptly stolen since we are a technology company.

When I get thinks delivered by couriers (because the seller doesn't deliver to a PO Box??) most times it is a problem. But never, ever, in years have I had a problem with goods being delivered to my PO Box. Good old Aussie post, their local and the give a %$#@

Track and Trace is inaccurate and isn't aligned to SMS notifications. No longer deliver to appartments - I'm left with a card and have to travel to a local Post Office to collect my items, making the delivery option useless.

I have ordered over 5 different parcel in the last month and a half. All of which have either been lost in transit or delivered 2 weeks late.

I wish these people where better at there jobs

Sending a package to return something I have bought. I didn't know the steps to follow. Went to the post and the girls were really sweet with everything. They helped with the packaging and everything.

Posted a letter to a friend in Adelaide from and it was at her doorstep on the following business day!

The item is 2 days late, & said onboard & never arrived. One small gesture from Aus post was a repayment/ re embersment of postage cost, but still to little to late leaving it a fairly dissapointing experiance.

Never use post office, they never deliver on time. I send an items on express post, it never arrived on time. they charge for express but the end of the day, the time deliver as normal

LOST A $100 Toyota filter kit but would only give us $15.70 compensation, did not even cover the cost of the 5kg satchel...terrible attitude and even worse service as we had to contact them twice to try to locate the lost parcel.
