Appalling Service
Waiting on a domestic parcel since 18th April, tracking said it was to be delivered 28th April, it's now 13th May no parcel... lodged a missing parcel form 6th May...no reply...updated complaint 2 days ago still no reply.
Seems they just don't want to know...Australia Post have been bad for a couple of years now but this is ridiculous. Appalling lack of service.

Driver lied his butt off and Aus Post take no blame whatsoever.
Friday 8th of May: I'm sitting on my couch in my tiny, tiny one bedroom apartment waiting for my package with the door open and easily within viewing and hearing distance. All is quiet. Suddenly I receive a notification saying my parcel has been delivered! In confusion I go outside to see if somehow I went deaf and blind and lost my mind and my parcel was left outside my door. Nope. In the hallway? Nope. Downstairs? Nope. Mailbox area? Nope.

ing it to an occupent at my address. What a blatant lie. I'm the only one who lives here and was home waiting for it. I'd say he's seen that there's stairs to climb and has either left it downstairs of my unit block to be stolen or handed it to one of my thief neighbours who of course won't give me my package. I go back and forth with Aus post who offer false apologies, take no blame, don't even say they will speak to the driver and suggest I ask the seller for financial compensation. Not a chance. Their driver didn't deliver my package then lied his butt off about doing so. I'm now seeking financial compensation from Aus post and will take it all the way since this is the third time a driver has left my package downstairs to be stolen or handed it to one of my neighbours! I'm sick of it! The item was also a discreet item which can now be used against me by the criminals and insane people who live here since one of them now knows the contents, my name and where I live. So thanks to the incompetent driver for that.

Didn’t try to deliver my post
I requested my bag of dog food to be dropped of at a safe place, but instead I get a card saying heavy, Red Cliffs post is at it again not delivering post to people doors, so now I’m expected to walk up and walk home with a 15kg bag of dog food that I plan to have delivered to my door every month

Ongoing improvement
I have received the packages on time and left in good conditions. The postman used to leave the pick up card in our mailbox, even though we were home and the packages were small. But it seems he doesn't do that anymore.

Pathetic Postal Service
Been waiting over 2.5 weeks for my parcel coming from Sydney to Perth. On the tracking website it says it's still stuck in Sydney with Australia Post. To drive to Sydney from Perth takes about 5 days (800km a day). It's actually faster to go pick up my parcel in person than wait for Australia Post. A big fat FAIL for you guys!!!

Do yourself a favour and dont use standard post right now. Why would my parcel have the 30th for its expected delivery and it is now the 10th. I have submitted two enquires and yet have no updates. This is just pathetic, keeping im mind that othwr modes of freight are not this affected

Slow and UNTRACEABLE
I called the seller and they said that the parcel had been dispatched last Friday, but there is no updates on tracking, and no idea where my parcel is. No point of running a tracking software if your company can't maintain it. Highly disappointed!

Delivery dates are lies.
Ordered a parcel two weeks ago from Sydney and is currently stuck at a Melbourne facility. Expected a delivery on the 29th (was in Melbourne at that time) and it’s currently the 8th of May and am yet to receive it, or any updates of it other then “in transit”. This virus is no excuse anymore when I work in a business receiving daily deliveries efficiently from other postal services.

Worst Service EVER! Customer service and response even worse!
I purchased an item from Sydney before the COVID-19 lockdowns. It was a large parcel, approximately 1 metre high and about 1/2 a meter wide...so hard to loose. Nope! Australia Post managed to loose it. This was just the beginning of it. After sending a complaint online on 22 April to try and find out where it was after 4 weeks (and because they won't take phone calls now unless its for medication) they sent me an email almost a week later asking for my feedback on the phone call with them. What phone call??? I then filled in the feedback...Read more
as requested, explaining that I did not receive a phone call, nor has this been resolved. Another 5 days later, no response. So I emailed again quoting my reference number furious that this had not been resolved and I had no idea where my package is. Finally, someone emails me back, explains that they have searched everywhere and my package has now been declared lost and that I am to now contact the purchaser, provide them with the reference number and they will arrange for another product to be sent to me. How much work do they want me to do! So, I do as requested because I really want the item i purchased. Guess what...they are out of stock. Lucky me! So I email back (because I am still unable to actually speak with anyone!) and tell them that the product is out of stock for a minimum of 3 months. What do I do now? Again, no response! I email again asking them to contact me ASAP as this has now been 7 weeks since my package was posted. Still no response. I am beyond furious with Australia Post and their lack of customer service. Couldn't be slower if they tried
I bought a small parcel size product on ebay from Melbourne, 750km from where I live in Adelaide.
8 days later, the last tracking update shows it was in Melbourne airport a week ago, and nothing since. Estimated delivery in now in 7 days time! That's 15 days from go to whoa! Pathetic service, for all their excuses.

Can always rely on Aus Post!
I’ve used Australia Post for most of my life. I have tried other postal services but you never get the same customer service levels or the peace of mind that the package will arrive safely. You may pay less for other services but it will somehow get “lost” and it’s a mission and a half to track the package down. So that’s why I choose Aus Post. Definitely recommend and is my go to postal service. It’s a no brainer.

APPALLING service. Should be closed down
If you value your item, DO NOT SEND with this pathetic company. After 2 MONTHS and a 6 week case investigation it never turned up nor could it be found, despite having a tracking number. They didn't even know it was missing until I raised a case. And we are talking about a large box weighing 13 KGs and 40cms wide !!
This CEO needs to go. In fact the whole company should be shut down. There are far better couriers out there who know what good customer service is and provide a door to door service.
Don't waste your time here or risk losing your item Even 1 star rating is too much

Unacceptably slow.
Ordered an item from Sydney > Perth. The seller sent it on the 20th of April & here it is 6th of May & it’s still hasn’t even arrived to the Perth depot. You can’t use the virus as an excuse to be this bad, other businesses are running fine with minimal delay & able to handle the extra workload. The pandemic has been ongoing for months, if you don’t have measures in place by now to ensure you can stay on top of things then you shouldn’t be in business.

Customer Service Is Appalling!!
I have been expecting a domestic package for over two weeks! I allowed for the requested additional time of 3 days due to COVID-19 and tried to call to enquire, and I am unable to speak to anyone! The automated voice takes you in repetitive circles and leads to nowhere. What is the point of a service which offers no value to your customers?? Complete waste of my time, zero stars

Hideously incompetent
Ordered item on 13/3/2020 from nsw,was received by aus post 23/3/2020 notified would arrive 27/3/2020 then 30th then 3/5/2020 5th and finally 6th,which came and went, check and find item damaged and returned to sender.now i have to try and get compensation from Aus post,,not happy.

Increased prices, downgraded quality
The prices have increased at Australia Post but they now use poor quality recycled boxes and biodegradable satchels that just fall to pieces. Absolute pathetic service provided by a money hungry government.

Really bad customer service
I emailed Australia Post with an enquiry regarding a large parcel 2 weeks ago. I never received a response from them. I have been informed by the sender that Australia Post has lost my parcel. I understand in these current times that they are inundated with parcels but other couriers are in the same situation and they have adjusted to the increased demand for their service and still offer the same service in the same timeframe.

Boy these guys really screw you for everything 20c for s sticker and if it is a 2mm thicker than the template for a package they sell tough one of their envelopes for a fee naturally . All a money making a machine, notice how many post offices are manned by these tight wads mostly foreign owners,
Maybe all the bad service is because Aust post has opened a special daigou branch to facilitate overseas bulk postage.

Hi I'm not an Aust Post Employee, just a disgruntled customer like you, I would suggest you make an online complaint like I did and screen shot the tracking to attach with your complaint like I did, good luck hope you receive your parcel eventually.
