Best decision I have ever made
Returning to study at 41 years of age was a little bit daunting but AIB made the whole process so easy. Their enrolment team and enrolment process was very easy. The introductory orientation program that you start with, sets you up for real success from day one.
AIB have a number of useful tools to help make the transition easy. The AIB style guide is full of extremely useful tips and is a good resource tool to use for the assessments. They have a tool called Studiosity which is included with the course and can be used to help improve your wri...Read more
ting skills which has helped me immensely. The Online learning facilitators are very engaging and helpful and supportive with any questions I may have. The assessments are very practical and you can start using the learning in your work place straight away. You are able to take your strategic thinking to a higher level and have an impact as soon as you have finished the subject. What I love about the online learning portal is that the information is concise and is supported with videos and the text books to keep the time needed for study manageable. I was able to work study around my travel and into my weekends very well. My confidence has improved and my ability to see things more critically has changed dramatically. I'm two subjects in and wondering why I didn't start my MBA sooner. It is very rewarding and increasing your skills significantly even with years of actual experience. I'm looking forward to using my new skills and strengthening my career prospects as I enter into the next phase of my career.1 comment

Fantastic study experience
My experience with AIB was very fulfilling. I have an incredibly busy life but found the study processes with AIB to be very accomodating and supportive. I found the staff and academic team very helpful and understanding.

Challenging but well worth it!
It was a struggle to get back into study however I found the AIB team to be very helpful across the board. Questions were followed promptly by the student support team and the OLFs, across all subjects, worked hard to help me achieve my best results. I learned a lot more that I thought I would and I was able to get a promotion before I had even finished.
The experience was one I will always remember and the challenges, mainly around fitting it into my life, made receiving the parchment so much more rewarding. If you are thinking about an MBA, AIB will make that journey worthwhile.

Great MBA for specialization in Finance
AIB MBA program is quality and course delivery was excellent and it is a degree program at masters level in which you need to apply yourself. If you are looking for a free ride and education journey where people hold your hand then you are not ready to do an MBA. However if you are like me and can dedicate yourself and fulfill the program requirements and apply the knowledge to your work then this MBA is for you.
I have noticed some negative comments on here and can say that I know who applied them selves and those who never showed up for online lectures and webinars.

Disappointing across the board...
Disappointing across the board... I completed several subjects and withdrew on the basis of the level/quality of learning, and the lack of service and support offered. The MBA course is over-priced given it's content and resources, and is very much closer to the level of a lower under-graduate degree, than an MBA. I had hoped the "industry-based" content would be more useful in a commercial context, but it lacked any real depth. Published content was poorly produced and poorly scripted, lecturers were generally inconsistent and reactive. It was...Read more
actually quite demotivating. Even withdrawing from the MBA was painful - a prolonged, disjointed process that took nearly two months for the Grad Cert parchment to be issued. Given the advancements in digital education, AIB needs to rethink it's MBA offering - it just doesn't align with what they preach in terms of industry credibility and learning value. My recommendation is to explore more highly regarded university-based MBA courses.1 comment

What a fantastic experience!
I started my MBA journey just over two years ago, on 22 December 2017. Today, I received my final grade in the capstone project and have now passed all subjects. What a buzz! I would highly recommend this course for anyone looking to upgrade their learning and understanding in business administration. For me, the best part of the journey was making the decision to undertake electives in financial management, investment management and financial markets and institutions - these were all areas that I would not necessarily call my strong suits,...Read more

Well worth the effort
After two years of hard work I have completed my MBA. The experience with AIB has been very positive and the style of the programme makes it achievable and applicable for everyone.
Over my time I have seen how AIB is constantly seeking to improve. I only ever had one issue (with the online exam software crashing), they have now eliminated the exams but they resolved this well. The communication was excellent, we were given options and compensation. While it was a difficult time I could see the commitment from AIB to make it right and not i...Read more
mpact on our result. Another example is the included access to Studio City proof reading service. OMG this changed my life and while it only came in for my last four papers increased my confidence and quality of assessment immeasurably. The Online Learning Facilitators were excellent you could tell they wanted to support you with your study. I always felt confident that I knew what was being assessed they not only specifically told you but also ran webinars and provided presentations to help you. Because the assessment was focused on your own experiences the learning was very specific and can be immediately applied. I would call the programme unrelenting rather than difficult. You had assessments week 3, 5 and 7 so you could not fall behind. You needed to get your textbook in the 2-week period before week 1 when the course opens up and start reading asap. You really should try to have the textbook read by week 3 to focus on getting the assignments completed on time. I have spent many a family occasion with my ipad reading in the corner or typing away. I did once take a three-week break, but this was the worst thing ever as it took me two papers to get back into the swing of things.1 comment

What a fantastic journey
I started with AIB in Dec 2016, never having done anything like this before. Although nervous about the journey I went in with my eyes fully open. All throughout my MBA journey, I knew there was someone who could assist me if I needed help or someone just to talk to to get over my writers block. Looking back, the whole MBA experience was fantastic from start to finish. Don't get me wrong, there were days and sometimes weeks where I questioned my sanity for starting such a monumental undertaking, but through sheer determination, the enjoyment of...Read more
learning new things and cementing my own experiences and known knowledge, I was extremely proud to graduate in Nov 19. A word of warning, you will give up moments of friendship and family time to get assignments done, reading text books instead of novels, late nights and early mornings studying, but in the end it is all worth it, especially once you are in your cap and gown receiving your parchment on stage. So don't put off what you can start today as the 2 years to complete soon flies by. At the end of it all you wonder why you procrastinated so long in taking the leap to undertake your own MBA journey, so make the call and take the leap, you definitely won't regret it.1 comment

Definitely worth the effort - a positive experience
My overall experience was extremely positive - once I made the decision to commence the course I never looked back and kept focussed with the guidance timelines keeping me on track and on time. Like any course with fairly heavy commitments, it was important to keep motivated (which can wax and wain) with the prize firmly in sight. I found the course content engaging and interesting with the majority of facilitators responsive and engaged. I received a GPA 6 score which I was pleased about, however I did put in a lot of effort which paid off. Definitely assists me in my day to day career and future prospects. I would definitely recommend AIBMBA to anyone interested in further quality education.

Administrative service is poor!
Based on AIB Policy and ever changing course structure and delivery modes it is extremely challenging for a student to complete the program! I am a BBA student and basically am finished but had to do a transition module to get 10 credits. This subject, 360CIB, was basically assessed through 12 online exams. After each exam a mark was awarded. However because of the subject end date I will have to wait a whole two months to get my official Grade for the module as if it was an exam that was to be marked. It was already marked! Give students their...Read more

Starting my Master’s means financial adjustments. As such SHEL financial package was just what I needed. I was very scared at first because my last school experience was in 2006 but I made it. My greatest challenge is balancing work as I am police officer and time for classes and study. Flexibility that many universities could not provide
I had always wanted to study a post graduated degree relevant to my career. I first enrolled at a traditional university but dropped out fairly quickly due to the demanding nature of my work. As I was managing a 24 hour operation for work, the traditional university mode of studying multiple subjects in a class room setting just couldn't work for me.

The model at AIB was so much more flexible and definitely helped me achieve my study goals without impacting my job. I am pleased to have studied at AIB's and learned the knowledge that I needed. An Awesome AIB MBA Journey
Clicking the submit button for my final project felt so surreal. Finally, after 3 years, I can say that I'm done and dusted with my MBA journey. Practical MBA
I completed my MBA at AIB this year.
The entire program was well designed,
First of all, the course content could easily be linked with practical issue on the work environment.
Secondly, I had to conduct a project in every module that I undertook. This, was challenging but it helped in gaining specific knowledge in various aspects of business administration.
Thirdly, the course was designed to broaden one's knowledge about business administration.
Last but not least, the course did not only focused on present issues, but it helped me to be equipped for the ongoing changes in the business environment.

Perfect study options
I have completed my MBA at AIB over the last year I have enjoyed the style of learning, support options, clafication of what’s required, workload and options how to balance it.
My advice would be to join in on the forum discussions for extra support and order your textbooks before the subject commences.
I would also suggest keeping your textbooks on file for later on as you don’t know when you will need them again to refer back to.
I highly recommend AIB.
