Great Experience, Would highly recommend!

I purchased a car which came with AWN warranty, glad that was the case because it saved me hundreds of dollars. The car had an issue within the first month of purchase, however AWN made it all easy. The staff were very quick to respond, almost immediately processed my claim, very helpful on the phone and over e-mail. Made it a very good experience.

Great Product

Has paid for itself 3 times over. Would definitely purchase again and recommend highly. Easy to claim. As long as you keep up to date with servicing every 6 months or 10000kms its a great product. I have been given a months grace for being late on a service also.

The policy was brilliant value. I had 5 series BMW, it had issues with the EGR, Manifold and Small turbo. I’m sure you can appreciate the cost of repairing these items were quite expensive and around six times the cost of the warranty.
The claims process was relatively straight forward and friendly to deal with.
My only issue was with the diagnosis of the turbo. It was annoying and there needs to be a better process.
I had a fault light coming on for months and the approved mechanic couldn’t specifically diagnose the fault. So he said there was nothing wrong with car when there clearly was.
I took it to BMW for a diagnosis that I paid for and another approved mechanic who was top quality who diagnosed and repaired the turbo.

Dometic Fridge failure

We had our fridge fail and called AWN support line they told us to take to Dan’s Caravan Repairs in Wangara WA who looked at it and made the report to AWN straight forward we have know installed a new fridge which is great and the wine & beer is cold.
Thank you for our second no fuss claim we did really appreciate your support and Daniel help. The value of policy is first class.

Repairs needed

Several times my car has needed repairs that were covered under my extended AWN Warranty. I would send the info to AWN and instantly got a phone call from customer service and had a discussion and sorted everything out that i needed to do. Approval has always been very prompt and i am extremely impressed with AWN insurance and i am glad i took out the extra two years on my warranty.

Came through when I needed it most

Competent handling of a claim

We purchased excess cover for a motorhome trip in NZ and unfortunately damaged a fibreglass panel on a tree branch. In hindsight it was good value for money! The claim took over 5 weeks to resolve with quite a bit of to and fro because the claim administrators are in the UK and the motorhome company is in NZ. The administrator website was clunky to use in terms of tracking what I'd uploaded and reading messages. Everyone was very polite, helpful and responsive so at the end of the day even though I had to be patient I'm satisfied, and would recommend some tweaks to the administrator's website and clarity of communication.

The policy was comparable to the market, however I honestly could not believe how easy it was to make a claim! I completed and attached relevant paperwork and money was transferred back into my account. I expected to have to jump through hoops and fight till the end to get my money back... but this was so far from my experience.

Okay experience - not fantastic

Lady on the phone was very abrupt, wouldn’t let me get a whole sentence out before she cut me off. If she had listened to what I was saying I wouldn’t have had to ‘try’ and explain myself three times. Infuriating to say the least.

Great value for money

I would highly recommend this AWN insurance for mechanical insurance. I got my Tarago fixed with no hassle from AWN, costs covered 3200$. Awesome choice. I still have 2 years cover!! I paid only nearly 800$ for 3 years insurance. No hesitance to extend it if I could.

Great organisation to deal with

The response time to my claim was excellent. I had a phone call within an hour and arrangements for an assessment of the issue organised immediately. AWN was very flexible with the selection of who was best to do the repair to get the car on the road as soon as possible. Payment was fast. Everyone I dealt with were professional and courteous.

Mixed experiences with claims

Mixed experiences with claims. Most recent were minor and were approved quickly and easily, and very impressed.

However have also experienced very challenging claims, when our new awning had warped and when canvas stitching was coming apart - the van was less than 3 years old. They were extremely difficult, tried to say the repairer was over-charging (it was their recommended repairer) and took weeks of conversations to approve. Got there in the end though, and happy with the final result (replaced and repaired).

You must have it...

Had a problem with the Harmonic Balancer on my 2014 SSV Commodore. If I had not had Insurance with AWN it would cost me at least $600 to repair.
AWN could not have been easier to deal with. The whole process was seamless and of course, I am out of pocket precisely $0. Terrific.
People on the phone were super friendly and helpful. Taking out this extended insurance cover upon purchase was a decision that I most certainly do not regret.
Highly recommended.
