I did a lot of research for prams also and finally decided on this one after visiting a babygoods store and getting a run through. It is a petite double pram in terms of doubles and isn't any wider than some of the three wheel exercise type prams. I have had the pram 10 months now and haven't had any difficulty fitting through doorways and both babies have plenty of room in each of their sides. I did a lot of research before purchasing this pram and bought it after reading rave reviews...and I think it's the worst purchase I have ever made. It is heavy to lift into the car once collapsed and just on the point of collapsing the pram, I have to heave at the tags three or four times before the pram will collapse. Its ridiculous and causes me to have a stress attack each and every time in fear that the thing won't in fact collapse and I will have to leave it behind in the car park as I'm unable to get it in the car.
