Hi Serena,
Yes, the City Select Car Seat Adaptors are compatible with the City Select LUX. The new packaging has both strollers named on them - there are some out there that only have the City Select but they are definately compatible.

Hi there, we have tested the Premier canopy v's the Select whilst the connection fits the Select frame there is a gap at the top back of the canopy as there isn't anywhere for the velcro to attach to . Also the Canopy for the Select does fit both seat and Bassinet comfortably

Hi, thank you for your question. The seats can only be used in the positions the pram comes with. Changing these position to any other place on the frame could potentially be very dangerous. Thank you

Which baby joggers model bassinet is suitable for this model?

It would be the city select lux bassinet.

Baby Jogger
Baby Jogger C.Baby Jogger

Hi Dileep,

Thank @Peeb you are correct! The only compatible bassinet for your stroller is the City Select LUX Bassinet.
You can however use the Deluxe Bassinet but in Single Ride Only, meaning you can't use the Deluxe Bassinet in double ride mode.

Hi Tammie, thank you for your question. Yes it is compatible with the Maxi Cosi Mico Plus, you will just need the correct adapters. As for being able to face the bottom seat out while the capsule is on, it is possible with the Baby Jogger Capsule, we have not tried it with the Mico. Thank you

I have seen bad reviews regarding safety for the 2017 LUX model. Has this issue been rectified with the 2022 model? I am recommending to a friend and want to make sure the pram is safe and reliable. The reviews on choice.com.au suggested problems with belts which may cause strangulation.

Hi Zozo,

Recent media coverage has made statements about the safety of the Baby Jogger prams. The Amazing Baby Company (TABC), the Australian distributor of Baby Jogger products completely rejects these reports and stands by the independent assessment of the product by one of the world’s leading testing authorities, Bureau Veritas. The products were recently assessed by this approved test house and they issued a report stating that the pram complies with all safety measures of the full current voluntary Australian Pram standard and the compulsory Government regulation associated with prams (CPN).

Choice who recently assessed the Baby Jogger City Select Lux, the Baby Jogger City Tour and the Baby Jogger City Mini GT has made an interpretation of the safety standard which is not supported by Bureau Veritas or leading industry safety specialists. The Government has not ordered a recall of these Baby Jogger prams and we have also had the prams independently assessed by the Infant and Nursery Products Alliance of Australia(INPAA), an industry body that is also a member of the Standards Australia Committee that develops and reviews the standard. INPAA also confirms that the interpretation of the standard by Bureau Veritas is correct. TABC contacted Choice to confirm that all products tested had Australian compliance however they chose to ignore this fact and run with their own interpretation. Consumers should continue to use these Baby Jogger prams with complete confidence that the prams are safe.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to send through an email to [email protected] so we can assist you further.

Kind regards,
Baby Jogger Customer Service

Thanks so much for your thorough feedback, I think you need to work to correct the mis-information out there, as first time mums rely heavily on the Choice.com.au site and their recommendations for buying products, especially prams and safety is number one priority. These negative reviews I am sure are impacting the bottom line, such a shame as it's an excellent pram. I bought the pram for my girls years ago (about 2010) and it was a highly rated pram from Choice and many other sites. I cannot fault the pram for both my girls (we had the double) as it has the biggest basket, ease of use and pushing around, it really IS a great pram and I would not hesitate recommending to anyone.
