I recommend baby train if, like us, you want a baby store where the staff have expertise in the products sold and will take the time to give you advice and help you make an informed decision on which baby product suits you. This was important to us and we went to 5+ baby shops closer to where we live before we decided to try Baby Train Ringwood based on the online reviews. It was such a relief to find this shop and we ended up feeling comfortable buying a pram and car seat in one weekend after the staff helped us through the process.
Parents please do not waste your time going there or purchasing anything from this store.
Their customer service is non existent. They claim to value their customers and yet they dont walk the talk when it comes down to it. There are plenty of better stores to purchase baby products from than this one.

Terrible experience. Purchased a stroller online, cancelled the order due to terrible experience.
We purchased a Babyzen Yoyo online. The purchase was more than $500. Got a call on Sunday from a lady advising that it is the internal policy of Baby Train to request copies of drives license and copy of credit card for purchases over $500. Was not offered a direct debit option during this call. I sent a copy of the documents, but have deliberately cut off four digits of my card as I was not comfortable of emailing personal docs in full. Got the 2nd call on Tuesday and was advised that they still need the full copies, - objected - was offered ...direct debit. Was not happy that the direct debit option was not offered in the first place. The lady down the other end acted defensively and it was an unpleasant experience. Requested refund. Went to a competitor.
Great service, helpful staff - excellent experience
We purchased Maxi Citi baby capsule and the Ergo Omni from Baby Train Ringwood - we received excellent customer service both times. We had an issue with baby capsule and they organised replacement part which arrived promptly and correctly. We received expert advice about the Ergo Omni from Rachael who went above and beyond and understood our needs and product amazingly. Definitely our go-to baby store.
Was in baby bunting for half an hour and being ignored by the staff there
We then off to the Baby train, the sales there was friendly and professional, answered all our questions and we got the car seat within 10mins (cheaper as well)

Takes forever to ship orders
Purchased an item online on the 2nd of July and it was only shipped today on the 11th of July.
Their website states "Baby Train endeavours to ensure all goods will be delivered within 3 to 7 working days". It's already been 7 working days and they have just shipped the item today so clearly the item will not be delivered within 7 working days.
Will not be using again.

I was let down badly by another Baby store and rang Baby Train in Ringwood
They were so understanding and helpful and had my pram ready to pick up early
The price was wonderful
And the staff very competent and friendly
They put the pram together for me and showed me how to dismantle it for car travel
Will be back for all my baby products

Rubbish customer service
After buying a stroller from baby train we thought we'd buy our car seat from Baby train as well. This was a few months later. We asked for a price match to ensure we got a competitive offer (like we had done with our stroller) and the lady who seemed like assisting us was an inconvenience replied with 'Nah I won't price match, buy it from wherever else you found it'.....and that's just what we did.
Needless to say, we'll be avoiding Baby train from now on and will happily share our experience with our mother's group.
Baby Bunting Are Big - But Baby Train Are Much Better.
Have shopped at Baby Train a few times now after a poor experience with Baby Bunting. Their prices are always great and their service is awesome. I was most impressed with my recent visit where I had a manufacturers issue with my twin pram and the way they dealt with it was fantastic. Baby Bunting might be bigger but I have personally found that the experience at Baby Train is far superior.

Purchased the icandy pram. Received the pram broken and baby train will not take any responsibility. This is first time a business has done this. Higher management will not even talk to the customer or offer a solution.
Once they have your money that’s it.
Stay away. Don’t waste your money.
Any normal business will not let the customer walk away with a faulty item.

We bought a Phil and Teds mod buggy, which broke in the middle of the bus the brake lever flicked off of it. Despite still being shocked how a 2 months old buggy can break!!! out of nowhere and especially on a moving bus!!! I have contacted to Baby Train and didn't hear back. I really needed a response so I contacted to Phil and Teds and they told me that they were happy for us to have a refund or a store credit.
Baby Train tells me that I need to send the pram in my own cost. Which is 180$ shipping cost from Brisbane to Melbourne. This is r...idiculous, I was sold a buggy which broke on the second month, a crucial part of it was faulty (THE BREAKS HANDLE!!!!) and I am being told that it was my fault because I bought it online and I should be paying 180$ to the shipment. Also even that Phil and Teds accepted that the buggy was faulty and a refund was due but Baby Train literally tells me they will look and decide once they receive the pram if they can give me a refund or a store credit!! I will never shop at this store again!!

Slimy, Arrogant, Rude
Purchased a bugaboo board with an adapter, the adapter and board didn't go together as the adapter or board changed styles. I got an old board and a new adapter (or visa versa). In trying to CHANGE the adapter (NO MONEY BACK) I received a call confirming that they would send a new product out and I would send the wrong adapter back in a reply paid bag, great! Then I received a call back from a manager where they changed their mind. The reason they changed their mind was because the new delivery address was different from the original. There are...several reasons why I gave them a different address, 1. It would be cheaper for them (a Sydney cbd address vs the original regional country address. 2. The original address was a holiday house and only there every second weekend. SO, They wanted me to buy a new product, return the old and then I would get sent the new product and then finally get a refund. Are you serious what a hassle!! So I said just send it to the original delivery address and we'll remove the issue of the "new address". But no, they changed their mind again saying "no this is our policy and that's the way we have to do it, that's what our boss said". So I asked to speak with the boss to explain the situation, which they refused, which I questioned, then changed their mind again saying oh no his in a meeting, to which I said I'll wait for a call back when his finished, to which they said his not the type of boss to take a call. WOW! A boss in the retail business that's not willing to speak to a customer, interesting strategy! Also worthy of a mention is when I explained the original address was a holiday house I received a rude remark of "oh that's nice". No I wasn't boasting, I was trying to give you some background to help you understand and make a better, more informed decision. But great customer support NOT! After defending my position on the matter and refusing to be manipulated by the slimy customer support team that make up the rules as they go, I was told by the manager that called me back, that she would get a manager to call me back...how many managers does it take to make a decision on a $21.95 swap. Yes that's right there is no money changing hands and I'm talking about a $21.95 product. Putting that into perspective, it's about 5 coffees. A mistake that was made by Baby Train by sending my the wrong adapter all of a sudden became my problem! Overall I would have to rate them 0/5 if I could but I will have to settle to 1/5.
Purchased baby PRAM - ABC DESIGN
I recently went to Baby Train here in Moorabbin (Melbourne VIC) and purchased a Baby pram (ABC DESIGN SALSA STREET 2017 MODEL) for the upcoming birth of my son..
I absolutely loved the brand and product purchased and somewhat the service received from the staff [name removed]. I must say she explained everything really well as I was contemplating purchasing the ABC design or the Joolz brand one..(cant remember the model)
Anyways moving on I made a small deposit and advised that I would come that week Saturday and make full payment and pick...up the pram as well.. All of this was fine till saturday came and we paid in full and when the product was handed to us me and my husband noticed a huge scratch on the pram, So we asked [name removed] if we could get it swapped with another spare one that they had at the back... I was horrified by the look I received that she had on her face.. She looked like I abused her or something.. (mind you I paid $999.00 for the ABC Design pram.. Now I know this isn't a lot compared to your bugaboo and Joolz but its the service that I received.. I work in customer service myself and if a customer of mine wasn't too happy with something they purchased, I would make sure I would try and help them to get a satisfactory outcome of it and they walk out of the store happy.. Well as in my case I walked out of the store in disgust of how someone could be rude through body language.. Moving on I did get a second piece (brand new from the back) and [name removed] just pushed it to my husband and said "here you go" with all the cardboard box around the handle where we couldn't even fold it down... I then stepped in and said "hmm we need this cut off otherwise I cant get it into he car... She then took it and tried to rip off the cardboard bit that was around the handle bar... realized that she couldn't do it and hence needed scissors..

Such Amazing Service!
Awesome service, gee the staff know everything! Shopping now for my 3rd child, (a beautiful little girl), thank goodness for Baby Train. I’ve shopped at many baby shops before but have never had such brilliant service and product knowledge. I’ve now found the best pram – ABC Design Salsa 4, and an awesome car seat. They installed it for me on the spot even though it was closing time. They went out of their way to make sure I was sorted when I know they had families to get home to. Cannot recommend Baby Train enough, if you want the best service and best advice then you must go to Baby Train!

Great customer service and fantastic advice!
Recently upgraded to an ABC Design double pram which we found baby train had on special. The customer service I received over the phone was fantastic and so genuinely friendly! We ended up being guided to an very cheap alternate/additional product for the pram (that was not once suggested to us at any Sydney store) that meant we could use the specific ABC design pram we wanted safely for our newborn. Saved us having the bother of buying a capsule/adaptors or the hassel of hiring which we believed to be our only option thanks to greedy Sydney stores we went to enquire at! We ended up paying a small shipping fee from Vic To Nsw and saved us hundreds in the end. So pleased and will continue to shop online with these guys! 5 stars!
Wonderful online service
I've shopped online twice now with Baby Train for really big purchases and have been so impressed with their service. They phoned me to follow up online orders each time and to confirm all the details etc. My items were dispatched the next day and arrived really fast with great tracking. They really seem to care about their customers and provide great service. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again. Their prices have always been the best I can find . Great shop!
Best service ever!
We purchased the ABC zoom pram about 6 months ago and unfortunately had an issue with the frame. A quick call to check and we came in the same day. The staff were very helpful and dealt with the issue right then and there. I was expecting a huge waiting time but they saw to it in no time at all. Couldn't ask for better service!
