Terrible experience. Purchased a stroller online, cancelled the order due to terrible experience.
We purchased a Babyzen Yoyo online. The purchase was more than $500. Got a call on Sunday from a lady advising that it is the internal policy of Baby Train to request copies of drives license and copy of credit card for purchases over $500. Was not offered a direct debit option during this call. I sent a copy of the documents, but have deliberately cut off four digits of my card as I was not comfortable of emailing personal docs in full. Got the 2nd call on Tuesday and was advised that they still need the full copies, - objected - was offered ...Read more

not comfortable in providing a full copy of my credit card! My objection was emotional but I believe it was verbally delivered in a professional and calm manner. I advised that I frequently purchase items online, and often these are well above the $500 mark, and that I never have had any companies small or large asking me to email my personal documents. Its only during the second phone call and after my continuous gentle objection I was offered the direct debit option.

Takes forever to ship orders
Purchased an item online on the 2nd of July and it was only shipped today on the 11th of July.
Their website states "Baby Train endeavours to ensure all goods will be delivered within 3 to 7 working days". It's already been 7 working days and they have just shipped the item today so clearly the item will not be delivered within 7 working days.
Will not be using again.

h you would be able to see from previous reviews. However, we believe there was a communication breakdown in this instance, which can happen as we are all human. In order to protect ourselves and yourself, we do have these security checks in place as we have fallen victim to many fraud cases previously and as a small family owned business we simply cannot afford this fraud loss. You would have had to check the box that stipulated that as your purchase was over the $500 threshold, you would be contacted to provide additional security checks. Our staff members are well versed in what we do require for these checks and the offer of direct deposit into our account is always offered.
