Excellent carrier, very happy with it and would definitely recommend
Initially, I found the instructions included with the carrier very hard to follow and ended up looking for instructions on YouTube. It was a little fiddly to start with, but once I got the hang of it, it's actually one of the most straight forward systems I have seen.
I could try to nitpick, there is really no cons there, as far as I see it, other than the included instructions could be better..
Overall, this is a very easy to use baby carrier and probably the easiest to use carrier that I have come across, I have owned a few.
I am very happy with it and would definitely recommend.

I like it. It does what it says. Would I buy it again? No.
I bought this before my baby was born based on the positive reviews. 'Oh you just have to get a Baby Bjorn' was commonly thrown about together with knowing smiles and head nods. So I skipped along to Baby Bunting and dutifully bought the newest and latest version. So happy with my popular purchase that I proudly displayed it on the wardrobe shelf of my then nearly finished baby room.
The One had been designed to address those hip concerns their original carrier had been laden with. The breathable mesh made it stay a cool, even temperature. The...Read more

Bjorn One Carrier is a must have baby item
We love the baby Bjorn one for many reasons.
Firstly, it is easy to use (even without instructions). My sister-in-law and I share this product and she managed to out it on without the manual instructions.
The mesh material of this carrier is just perfect for Aussie weather. Nice and cooling. My babies have eczema so the mesh material does not make my babies' skin flare up.
In addition is dries fast after washing, ready for the next day's adventure.
We love the many ways of wearing this carrier. But this carrier allows baby to face ou...Read more
tward, which has been ever so helpful! Because of the eczema on my babies' face is irritated by the rubbing on the parents chest if faced inward. Facing my baby outward allows his face to be free from any rubbing and allows the cream on his face to absorb on his skin. And at the same time be comforted by being carried/ cuddled closely. We have used this overseas and it has been again the best. In Asian countries, prams are a no no because the popular and poor foot paths so being able to carry my baby around saved us a lot of hassle. Once again the weather in Asia is a challenge but the mesh material made carry my baby bearable. Love love this product! Thank you baby BjornSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Having back pain.
I used to use RM79 (ringgit malaysia) hip seat, with not much back issue. Or none at all except for the bulky hip seat cushion.
Spent RM 700+ (with 10% discount) for Baby Bjorn One and am having severe back pain after carrying my 11kg daughter for 10 minutes onwards.
I tried using other brands like ERGO baby and find that the tight waist clipping would eliminate the pain.
A not so happy babybjorn user.

Happy with my BabyBjorn One
I am finding the baby carrier really comfortable, even with my 12kg son! He seems really comfortable in it, which is surprising because of his size. The waist strap is a great feature, and much needed. The carrier is lightweight, easy to put on and easy to adjust the straps to get the right fit. I am really happy with the carrier.

Bjorn One v Ergo 360
I was given an original/basic Bjorn by a friend and we've used it heaps. But then my baby grew! At 8kg I could only survive a quick whip around the supermarket before my shoulders gave up. It's so much easier to use a carrier than a pram and I'm pretty much guaranteed that bubs will sleep too, plus he (and I) love the closeness, so I researched my purchase a lot, as I knew I'd use it a lot. My criteria were that it needed to have a waist/hip strap for me to take pressure off my shoulders, needed to have an outward facing position and obvi...Read more
ously be ergonomically safe for bubs. So I whittled it down to the ergo 360 and the Bjorn One. The Bjorn had a bad name on the internet for being a 'crotch dangler' - I wonder though if that's all a bit of fear mongering for new parents by other carrier makers. The One has different widths for the legs (as does the ergo) so baby can safely face outwards, but the Bjorn is way easier to adjust then the ergo with its fiddly button thing. Baby sits in the ideal 'm position' and my little guy seemed to prefer the Bjorn over the ergo when I tried them both on. Comfort wise, both Bjorn and ergo have lovely padded shoulder straps and waist strap. User friendly wise, the Bjorn is really easy to put on and doesn't have that ridiculous clip in the middle of your back as the ergo does. I've got my baby in the newborn position (even though he's 5 months and not small), Ifound he sat up a bit higher and could see more. So easy to adjust with the zip. Quality seems excellent, clips take a little getting used to but feel very secure and I like the reassuring 'click'. Only complaint is that the material seems to show every bit of fluff... maybe that's because I got a black one though. Finally, the Bjorn is more structured than the ergo -a bit more bulky perhaps but feels very secure. Haven't tried wearing baby on my back yet but the videos of how to do it look fairly straightforward. Overall, very happy with this carrier.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Love my BabyBjorn :)
This would have to be the best baby carrier on the market. I have found it really easy to use and super convenient. My 9 week old baby girl is quite fussy and loves being carried around which makes it difficult to get anything done during the days. But with my BabyBjorn I now have 2 hands which is amazing!! She also seems very comfortable and cosy in the carrier (usually falling asleep). The fact that the clips make a clear sound when connected also gives me piece of mind that my daughter is safely in place. I would highly recommend this product, it's been amazing for both my husband and myself!!!

Do not buy this product!! I literally have nothing positive to say about this product
This carrier is very hard to use and is very poorly designed. I was so excited when I bought it until I used it a few times. I was excited that you don't need a newborn insert, but my baby basically disappeared into the carrier. i thought maybe it would be better when he was bigger but no luck. The position of the top clips go right in front of baby's face and the inner straps that sit across my chest also blocked his face. Baby sits too low-even if I wore the waist strap higher than I was supposed to his legs dangled in front of mine (with the...Read more
zippers done up) and he wasn't 'close enough to kiss'- he seemed very uncomfortable and not well supported. Within 5 minutes of wearing it my shoulders were on fire as the waist belt does not take any of the weight as it should. The front facing position does not meet the hip displacia standard. It's laughable that this carrier made it to market. It seriously is garbage.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Absolutely Amazing Product
I found this carrier to be one of the best products I bought for my baby. It is easy to use, convenient and very comfortable. The click sound on the buttons gives me reassurance that I have connected them correctly. The longevity of this product makes it such a worthwhile investment, I am so happy that I can still use it for my baby even as he goes on to toddler stage.

So handy!
This carrier has been amazing for us! My daughter loves to look around when we are out so the forward facing option has been great! The carrier is very easy to use and super comfortable! I didn't even need to watch the instruction video to learn how to use it! Highly recommend this product!

Wow
When it comes to baby carriers I have always heard the name Babybjorn, so when it came time to pick one I wanted my wife and I to learn all about it and compare it to others on the market. We went for the One Carrier as it had all the features I thought would be important for both ourselves and our first baby such as a forward facing seat so my baby could see the world when she got old enough and a weight distribution centred lower on your hips rather than on your back as I am in warehousing and have many back problems and my wife has 2 herniat...Read more

Awesome for busy parents
I am a mother of 4 and I love how quick and easy the One carrier is to use. As I am always doing school drop offs and pick ups it much easier to get my One carrier out than a whole pram.
I have used other brands and other models of baby Bjorn and the One, by far is the most comfortable I have ever tried. Other models and brands feel like the baby is going to slid out, not with this one. It feels very safe n secure.
The thing I love most about it is that I am a larger women and it is hard to get carriers to fit me, with this carrier it is per...Read more

One of my favourite baby items
This is a great product. My baby absolutely loves being in it. He's not a great sleeper outside his bed but has even managed to nap while in the carrier a few times. If he's fussy he seems to settle as soon as I strap him in. It's especially perfect for calming him while I'm trying to get dinner ready.
The clips take a little practice but once you get the hang of them they're really easy to use. The carrier is incredibly strong and my son seems really supported. I find it comfortable to wear, especially with the waist belt, which means I can wear it for long periods of time without getting a sore back. My husband loves using it too.
Overall, I'm really happy with this carrier, and much prefer it to the one we used for our first son.

Loving my Baby Bjorn
I am loving my baby bjorn. I find the clips super easy to get bubs in and out and he seems very comfortable. It is particularly useful when I am shopping or getting jobs done around the house especially with a baby that wants to be held all the time. I managed to vacuum the whole house with bubs happy bounching along. It even helped getting his wind up! Only wish I had brought one with my first baby. it it very comfortable to wear and I feel safe that he is secure. Very happy.

Easy to use!
This carrier is really easy to use - once I had used it the first few times and set up the straps to the right lengths it was easy to slip on and off each time very quickly, which is important if baby needs urgent attention!! My baby now loves being in the carrier for walks and whilst I'm doing boring things like hanging out washing. The only thing I would say is that my baby needed a lot of little rides in it to get used to being carried this way, and I needed a few attempts to get the settings of the carrier right, although the manual is quite user friendly even when sleep deprived! So if it doesn't go well the first time, persevere- it's worth it!!

Ok but not brilliant
For our first baby we were given a well- used Original Baby Bjorn, which we found to be fantastic, he loved being carried and I liked the ease of use of this carrier. For my second babyI wanted to update to a newer model, so after researching, decided on the Baby Bjorn One- I liked the look of the different carrying positions and updated mesh material. However, I found this model a little cumbersome and my newborn got 'lost' in the carrier, she moved around a fair bit too. She was born 8 pounds, so not tiny. I have found as she gets older this...Read more
has improved. I'm disappointed with the outward facing position as the flap that is meant to fold down does not stay down so it is constantly flipping up and covering her face! I fixed this by sewing a couple of large press studs onto the mesh so I can button it down, but why would Baby Bjorn remove the buttons (that were a great feature on the older carriers ) on this new version?? So anyway, pluses are: easy to use, feels secure and Bub likes it, new leg width adjustment feature is a plus, and it's easy to adjust between different wearers. Negatives are not being able to secure the outward facing flap (which for the price I think is a must) and feeling a little 'big' for a newborn. Whilst not essential, it would also be great to be able to breastfeed while wearing Bub.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Bjorn One slips down badly making it uncomfortable & possibly unsafe.
I walk for at least an hour every day with my baby, she's not a great sleeper so this is the only way I can get her to nap. I pop on the Bjorn One & within a few mins I have to adjust it. In that hour walk I adjust the Bjorn One at least 20 times. It constantly slips down so I can't kiss her head (one of the T.I.C.K.S rules for safe baby wearing) she starts off at one height & slips down about 10 cms every few minutes. Its dangerous for her & hurts my back. I'm not sure if it's because I have the mesh version & that particular fabric is slippery?
I have confirmed I am using the carrier correctly with the place I bought it from (Baby Bunting) so I don't believe its the way I'm putting it on. Its unfortunate as I really love baby wearing.

Great product!
I was given this baby carrier as a gift and it's been fantastic. I love wearing my 6 month old, not only does it mean that my hands are free but I love having her close to me and she loves it too, she naps comfortably in her baby bjorn and it means I can run errands at the same time. I wouldn't go grocery shopping without it! It's easy to put on, comfortable and ergonomic to wear and most importantly it feels really safe for bub. I'm very happy with this product.

Love it! Easy to use, comfortable and gives you so much freedom to move.
We bought this in the mesh version. It looked a little chunky in the shops but when worn, it looks solid (I'm only 156 cm, size 10). So far, I've used it more than my husband while our baby is still small and we plan for my husband to use it when she gets too heavy for me to carry. The padded straps are very comfortable and easy to adjust. Baby loves it and easily falls asleep when carried in it. The adjustable front shoulder straps are great for giving extra head support to by bringing her closer to my chest.
This carrier has allowed us to...Read more
go for walks as a new family a lot earlier and more frequently than we would have if we had to constantly push around a stroller. We also use it from time to time around the house when doing light chores and to help baby go to sleep because she feels very comfortable in it. Can't wait to take it for our long walks in the forest and bush when baby is a little bigger and the weather a littler cooler (which was the main reason we purchased this). Highly recommended.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Fantastic!
This carrier is so easy to use and comfortable too. I actually used it more than I expected I would because it was so easy to put on and take off, especially when at the supermarket. My son loved, especially when he could look out. It also gave good back support when he started getting heavier. I highly recommend it.

Any tips on adjusting it so it's comfortable. Bub loves it, but after a while I'm getting a sore back. I don't want to have to buy a different carrier so I want this one to work! Plus it's so easy to get on! I just must not have it adjusted quite right. Where should it be tight, where should it be loose etc?

Although it's a while since you posted this, I still thought I would reply in case it's useful for someone else using this carrier. At first I found that the carrier hurt my back too. However after some trial and error I have found that the higher up in the carrier bubs sits, the more comfortable it is. I wear the waist strap up high (to my waist rather then resting on hips) and although my bub is now 5 months, he's still in the higher, small baby position. The shoulder straps need to be firm, but if you tighten too much bubs is squashed in. Aim for baby to be high enough to kiss their head easily. This has made a huge difference in terms of comfort for me. I walk 5km easily with baby in the carrier without any issues. He's about 6.5-7kg.
