What do I need to make this car seat a safe booster seat for my 4 year old grand daughter as she has outgrown the seat with inbuilt harness? There doesnt seem to be a sash guide on the upright part of the seat. Thank you

This seat does not convert to a booster seat. It is designed to use the inbuilt harness until the child grows out of the seat. The headrest can be pushed up revealing more slots for the inbuilt harness to thread through as the child grows. Should fit a child until the age of 8-10yo.

Does this seat have a sash guide when using as a booster seat? When I bought this it was advertised as a booster as well as a child car seat. Thank you. Nan

It doesn't convert to a booster, you use the inbuilt harness until the child grows out of the seat at about 10yo.

Our Ezy Grow was installed by a professional in recline mode and my near 4 year olds head flops to the side/front every time she falls asleep in it. The seat doesn't look very reclined and the 'head support' seems to be keeping her head too upright. I still have hope that there's something that can be done about this - please advise. Please note that when we first purchased the seat the recline was faulty and wouldn't stay clicked in to position so we sent it off to get fixed, thinking it would fix the head flopping too, which it hasn't.

Hey Steph. Unfortunately some kids just head flop regardless of how the seat is installed. If the seat is reclined there's not alot more you can do in that respect. Just make sure your headrest and harness straps are at the correct height. You want the harness in the slots closest to their shoulders and then the headrest will sit wherever it allows the slots to all line up in the shell and headrest.

When we had the bottom padding head flop was touch & go sometimes good sometimes hung foward but we took the bottom padding out & seems to have changed how she fits & hasnt had a flop since. Also make sure the straps are good & tight as it can help prevent the head flop. Good luck!
