You need to use it right and then it's great.
I see a lot of low stars bad reviews. That is because there is a way to use these pans. I made a mistake with the first one I bought and everything sticked to it. I got a free replacement from the shop I bought it from and this time actually read the instructions. The pan simply needs to be seasoned with high burning point cooking oil like rice bran oil or sunflower oil (not extra virgin olive oil) before using. I have now been using my bio+ range for the last 3 years now and have had no troubles. Lesson learned is always read instructions with any pans before use.
Purchased at Robins Kitchen.

Lost it's non stick within the first week!!
I took the store clerks advice and took care when I used it (no metal, no high heat etc.) But the non stick stopped working within the first few days of using! I cannot return it as it was on sale. What a waste of money.
Purchased in September 2021 for A$75.00.

Everything sticks frypan!
This is NOT a non stick frypan, it's an everything sticks frypan. We followed the directions completely and by far this fry pan is worse than our old cast iron frypan for stickability.
Purchased in June 2021 for A$70.00.

Worst non stick pan I've ever had
I received this pan as a Christmas gift from my mother. I'm aware all non-stick things have a couple of year lifespan at best but this one was a let down from day one. Its super-stick, a normal cast iron or stainless steel pan is less sticky.
Purchased in December 2021.

great in the first year or so, then started to get less 'non-stick' and more 'stick' - now it's terrible
I purchased the Baccarat bio cast aluminium 28cm frypan many years ago. (probably about 5-6 yrs).
In the beginning it was great, but it slowly started to become non-stick and now it sticks badly - and probably not very 'bio' by this stage either.....
I always used olive oil and non-stick utensils. Washed by hand with a soft dish cloth that is non-scratch and had never burnt the pan.
It says 25 year warranty on the outer packaging, however I emailed baccarat a month ago about warranty and replacement and haven't heard a thing.
I haven't used...Read more

The stickiest non stick cookware you can buy.
We bought the Baccarat Bio cookware set because they claimed to be safe non stick cookware. It does not matter what you cook in the fry pan it sticks and need to be scrubbed clean. I use a $10 Woolworths pan instead when cooking now. This has been a terrible experience and really put us off the Baccarat brand which we mistakenly thought had quality products.
Also if you buy the set it shares 1 lid with 2 or 3 different pots or pans. It's a small thing but it is annoying when cooking multiple things.

It’s a really good pan so far
I haven’t had any problems with mine, sautéed nicely, accidentally over-cooked food and soaked pan immediately, washed clean easily! For a large wide pan it’s light and easy to handle.
Left off a star because I haven’t been able to find any reviews on how healthy is the cooking surface.

Do not buy if you are after something that will last longer than a few months.
I'm a professionally trained chef and have been cooking (very well I am told) for 35 years.
Our pan has never been over heated, never been in the dishwasher, is carefully hand cleaned and only had fine olive oil of peanut oil on it.
It looks essentially new on the non-stick side.
After about 3mo the pan started mysteriously sticking in some places and after a couple of more months everything welds to the surface and will not release even when left off the stove with a lid on. Other pans would release as moisture is incorporated into the crust.
What another waste of cash on a poor quality non stick pan.

It is impossible to be careful enough. Trust the reviews.
After reading the reviews, I bought a couple of these, thinking that I take *pristine* care of my pans. Never put in the dishwasher, never in the oven, never above moderate heat. They remained non-stick for much less than a year.
The non-stick surface simply wears away. It seems I got a bit more use out of them than others by being extremely careful. I'm sure they'd last even longer in laboratory conditions with a couple of materials scientists present. But absolutely not suitable for even the most obsessive kitchen.
Also they claim to ha...Read more
ve good heat-distribution, but it's pretty poor. UPDATE: I decided these pans were basically disposable now, so I started putting them in the dishwasher. Can confirm that the heat indicator on the handle has started coming off after just one or two washes, and there's weird graphite-like coating coming off the base. Dishwasher safety is questionable at best.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Useless products.
Extremely disappointed in the 3 fry pans I bought. 3 different sizes and was looking forward to using them. Everything has stuck to them from day one. I thought they were a non stick pan. Having read reviews on this page it seems a lot of people have same issue. Will not buy this product again. Looks like it will be the cheap brands for me now!!

The opposite of non-stick
Bought the non stick fry pan twin set from House. EVERYTHING sticks to them. Wish I had read these reviews before purchase. From now on i'll stay away from Baccarat.

Products are great.
I have bought three of these baccarat Non-stick frying Pans. I think they are great. I took heed of advice when I bought them from robins kitchen,so I don't use sprays to cook. I always use olive oil to cook and I am very happy with them.

Not a Non Stick Frypan
I did all the steps prior to using it as a non stick frypan. When I used it for the first time the food stuck immediately. It was the worse frypan I have ever used, even washing it was difficult as the food was hard to come off even after soaking.

Worst pan from baccarat..do not buy
This is one of the worst non-stick pans I have used and I did not expect this from baccarat, having used their Rock series,I hoped that the bio series would also be good, but the pan turned bad after couple of.months, tried taking it back twice to house store but they didn't help and asked me to approach their customer service who in turn asked me to reach out to store again...

Really wasn't so happy with it
I searched and searched for a healthy alternative for non stick frypans and bought these. They were great for the first couple of weeks but after many uses the surface started to get a build up on it. From that time on they were anything but non stitch so I took then back and was given a full refund which was nice.

Love, love, love my saute pan
I purchased it recently to allow for healthier, less or no oil cooking. I use it on regular basis and for variety of dishes. It's great for frying (with just a touch of oil), sautes, as well as casseroles. I love that I can saute food on the cook top and then simply pop it in the oven without having to transfer to another oven proof dish. It's non-stick and easy to wash up. I also purchased one as a present for another family member who loves cooking and they are as thrilled as I am.

Over priced and not what they advertise.
After 18 months the surface is going sticky. I want to know if it is toxic to use.
I really expected a lot better especially as it has been used the correct way.

Do not purchase Baccarat Bio products
I bought The Baccarat Bio 32cm saute pan 2 years ago and in the last few months everything sticks and burns and the coating is no longer non stick.
Given that his product has a life time guarantee I returned it to Robins Kitchen but I was told that because I had used oil in the pan I had voided my warranty.
I pointed out that I was not advised to use oil when I purchased the pan and it did not mention it anywhere on my proof of purchase (which I still had).
The lady at Robins Kitchen basically said too bad and nothing they can do for m...Read more

Love it. I want one of every type.
I now own the 20cm and 26 cm frypan, the 24cm and 32cm pan, and the 16cm saucepan and I have a deep rectangular roasting one. I want to buy the 28cm grill pan. I am really happy with these pans. I now only want to buy Baccarat Bio+ . Easy to clean and the red colour is nice. Was given my first two as gift in 2014.

Complaint met a brick wall
A Baccarat soup pot purchased at Waurn Ponds Robins Kitchen has handles hot enough to burn. The handles are not designed separately from the pot. Confidently returning it I was told that as I was using a heat source this was to be expected. The pot it replaced (not Baccarat) was over 20 years old and neither the pot handles nor the lid ever became hot let alone dangerously so. Consumer law says goods must be safe. I got nowhere and the Complaints line yielded a (badly) recorded message. A very disappointing experience with an expensive item. No goodwill left.

The glass lid on my Baccarat saucepan just exploded sending glass all over the kitchen and ruining the meal. Im now undure ehether I can trust any of the set. I bought it in October last year and was only usingnit as instructed. It was on the top of a pot of pasta simply boiling on the stove. If these do this they should be recalled. What recourse fo I have? I bought this gourmet set to last a lifetime snd now six months one has exploded. Please contact me and let me know what I can do. This product is dangerous.

Get in touch with the shop you bought it from or Baccarat directly to inform them of the problem and a compete refund etc. I have not heard of that happening. Might you have dropped it etc to have caised a crack to happen in the lid initially?
No cracks and no drops. Baccarat not answering phone. This product is dangerous and not fit for purpose.

Will the baccarat 30+ roaster be ok in the oven 6 hours for shanks?
2 answers
Hi,
I’m not really sure as I personally never left mine in the oven for longer than a couple of hours of slow roasting but considering that I use it for frying on high temperatures too I’m guessing it should be ok. Maybe an idea to contact Baccarat directly with your question.
Regards,
Ireba
I contacted House Head Office, very helpful. My Question was discussed with a number of colleagues & definitely fine, even the lid. I was advised that if anything strange happened with the roaster during the process to calll them immediately. Super impressed. Thanks Ireba
