buying a second set now
bought the 10 piece granite cookware set a year ago for my daughter. Now I'm.getting rid of all my existing cookware to get my own. It cooks beautifully. Perfect non stick. Value for money. I do handwash for longevity as non stick cookware and good sharp knives should never be put in a dishwasher. They are lightweight and easy to handle. the only drawback is the hot handles. It does come with padded handle grips but they only fit one of the pots. I love the glass lids with the metal handles. Can go from stove top to oven no problem.

I have brought two, the first I dropped and it shattered into many tiny little pieces. That was my fault so purchased another as I did enjoy using it prior.
The second one however I took extra care, only using vegetable oil and hand washing - I was just cooking some roast pork and went to take it out of the oven and the tray has cracked right down the middle, sitting in the oven in two pieces, crazy.
Anyway, figured it's probably time to find a new tray as this one has not even lasted 12 months.

Very poor quality cookware.
Non stick coating wears off quickly compared to other more expensive cookware.
Poor quality compare with other pans I have used. I have been using the Baccarat Granite for couple of years now, and in spite of the claim of "BACCARAT LIFETIME GUARANTEE", the non stick coating has worn off and cannot be used now. I use induction cooking and non metal utensils and no flame has touched the pans.

Pans exceeded our expectation
we have a large and small granite pan and after we realised the stove should be set lower it has been great. Meat cooks to correct temperature at a lower stove setting. Easy to clean, handles are cool always. Product not light but not heavy about right.

Careful the pot handles get hot
The pot handles get hot, and the socks that come with the pot are a sorry excuse for not designing cool touch handles. the lid handle also gets hot. The handle on the fry pan and sauce pan are of some sort of plastic which does not get hot, so they know how to make them.
The cookware is lightweight and i did not have any other problems but really don't enjoy burning my fingers
Suck you in with Lifetime Warranty and then Refuse to replace
Try calling their customer service line -No one ever picks up, and eventually the call just drops out. Emailed with the company back and forth several times to get replacement set because the pans are terrible and the coating has come off. They gave me reasons why I had that prob, and when I said that I didn't use hot oil or abrasive material they then changed their tune and said I have stainless steel pans and that I just need to scrub them with abrasive materials. Make up your minds! These are not stainless steel pans, they are non-stick! The

I have now put in a complaint to fair trade as the warranty is only a sales gimmick and I have never read a review where they fulfilled their obligation to a customer. Never ever buy from the GIANT that is (Baccarat) Global Retail brands. They don't care about the consumer one bit. They will rip you off because they know they can get away with it. Go to fair trade. This is a great NON STICK pan
I bought a Baccarat STONE pan and after only 3 uses all the food started to stick to the bottom of the pan. It was also very difficult to clean with a non scratch scourer. So I exchanged the pan for a Baccarat Granite pan and it is fabulous !!! I already have 2 smaller Granite pans which are great also. So at this stage would thoroughly recommend

Fantastic product!
Reading these reviews I am wondering why so many people don't like them! Obviously they don't read the care label, otherwise they surely would have lasted longer.
Had my pots/pans for over 2 years and they are as near to perfect as the day I bought them. I can still fry eggs without a drop of oil, and the surface is strong and sturdy without peeling/cracking/etc.
The heat distributes really well and evenly, the pans get hot nice and quickly too so I'm not waiting around for ages while they warm up. For the pans, I can't find a fault with them!
Handles get too hot
Bought granite casserole dish for cooking curries and stews but the first time I used it the handles were so hot I couldn't touch them, they supplied little earmuff handle covers which work well but the handle on the lid is too hot as well and needs another potmitt to lift the lid off so in my opinion it's too dangerous to use you can't even stir anything without having a pot mitt to hold the pot while you're stirring. For $180 dollar pot I expect more.

Non stick surface with 25 year warranty is misleading. The non stick breaks down even with best care and following instructions. Attempting to contact product care to receive a new pan under warranty.

Not very versatile.
My pan lasted around 18months. The non-stick surface is ruined and the pan isn't worth using. I used soft coated utensils and wash with a soft cloth. I tried to claim the warranty but found the staff member I spoke to over email was rude. He said it was the worst treatment of a pan he had ever seen! I'm a pretty basic cook; if you are a home cook like me and like to use different oils and cook over high heat occasionally to sear meats and cook stir fries, this pan is not for you. The care instructions are quite restrictive. I would suggest revi

As the customer service representative pointed out to me when I enquired about the warranty; you can't use high heat and most oils so I should have done my research and realised it wasn't going to be a useful addition to my kitchen before buying. The warranty states they will not replace any products showing 'wear and tear' so they can reject your lifetime warranty as as soon as you start using it.Uneven cooking surface
Bought a Granite frying pan and it's difficult to fry eggs in it. The centre of the frying pan is slightly higher than the edges, so when you crack eggs into the centre, the egg runs to the edge of the pan instead of staying where it is, so you end up with an elongated-looking fried egg when you really want a circular-shaped one. I wouldn't buy another frying pan unless I test one by pouring water into it in the shop then watching where the water runs to in the bottom of the pan.

I have owned Baccarat Granite 2x 28cm frypan, 1x 32cm and 1x 20cm? frypan. When new they are amazing! Nothing sticks to them and they are a breeze to wash. However with constant (ie daily) use they start to deteriorate. The nonstick surface starts to flake off (preconditioned with oil, always cook with canola oil, 2 out of 3 heat, no metal utensils and hand washing) after about a year or so and junk starts to slowly stick making the surface not as non stick any more. I am now looking at replacing these pans and am uncertain if I will buy them again. Of course given that I bought them 2-5 yrs ago I dont have the receipt and by the sounds of other customers here they probably wouldnt honour the Warranty anyway.
