Good to deal with

Until I saw this review, I didn't know I got rewards but I'll certainly be asking about it. Good service after 2 years with them, no complaints and low monthly fees compared to my other cards

Good rewards - no issues

published

After not realising I was accruing rewards for a couple of years I was able to purchase about $300 of Bunnings vouchers. I could have redeemed that for slightly less in cash. They have lots of products and gift cards to claim as rewards and they seem to be awarded about about 0.5% of your purchase amount. My limit is only $500 so I make sure to use this card with Pay and Go as much as possible... I have had no issues with their service over about 20 year history. I get a call occasionally when I charge small $1 amounts on the internet for newspapers, which I appreciate their dilligence
Good rewards, only about $4/month fee

Terrible

Keep away from all Bankwest products. I have been with them for several years and they have taken me for hundreds of $$ in the past 2 years due to incompetent human error. I am counting the days to get out of there.

They have only instroduced 55 days interest free in the last couple of months, even though charge of $24 every quarter has been in forever. You miss one payment by a day and bang that is it for interstest charged, no negotiation! They are crooks, not only on their cards but on their bank accounts as well. Their helpdesk is near on useless and so is there bankmail. I am still waiting on a query I had over a week ago. The rewards are crap unless you live in WA. Be warned

Bad

My overall opinion of bank west is not great, sometimes the connection line goes down and if this happens on weekend you are in big trouble. We were stuck at the counter with a trolley load of groceries and could not pay for them because their line had gone down. We were just lucky that we were with another bank as well otherwise we would have been really quite embarrassed and frustrated.
Bankwest have good rewards, I have already received a petrol voucher which I was quite happy about.
You have to spend money to earn more points than other credit cards.
