Love it
I have gum trees and a jacaranda tree that drop in my pool constantly. I have tried all the in-line type pool cleaners, this is 100 times better, easy to empty and doesn’t strain my filter. I put it in in the morning it does it’s thing and I pull it out when I get home, clean it and put it to bed. It even picks up seed pods without clogging, magic I love it.

Fantastic
Having struggled for years to keep our pebblecrete pool consistently clean, we decided to purchase a Baracuda Captura Plus from Bunnings at a very competitive price. The robotic cleaner is climbing and scrubbing the walls which have, in the past, been particularly susceptible to algae growth. Not any more. The Captura is removing algae, fine debris, twigs and leaves. Couldn't be happier!

A great, affordable robotic pool cleaner
I used to have another robotic pool cleaner (Hy-Clor Pro) which did a good job but sadly it died after about 5 years of faithful service. I didn't realise how much I missed it, until I started manually vacuuming my 10 x 5 m fibreglass pool each weekend. It wasn't just the waste of time; I then had to backwash my sand filter as so much of the finer debris didn't get caught in the filter sock/basket. That wasted a lot of water, which is a precious commodity here now.
So I started hunting for a replacement and was surprised how much the price had...Read more
gone up since the last time I'd bought one (most are around $1500). I eventually bought a Baracuda Captura from Bunnings for just $845 (promotional special, so don't wait too long if this interests you). I was happy to buy it there, as in the past when I've had a problem with an item I've purchased there, they not only just replaced it without fuss, but if the model was discontinued, they gave me the newer one at no extra cost. Just keep your receipt! I've had it for a week now and have used it three times, and each time it has performed flawlessly, picking up leaves and fine debris. The leaves are up to about 80 mm long, from a nearby gum tree. It gobbles up the gum nuts without a worry. It did climb the walls a little too aggressively at the start, but I turned down that setting on the control box and it happily mainly stays on the floor now. It is very quiet and it gets into the corners without getting stuck. It's dead easy to remove the basket and quickly hose out the debris. The cable hasn't become tangled and is easy to roll up afterwards. It came with a 2 year warranty, so fingers crossed, if it's going to breakdown, that it does so before that runs out. At least I know it'll be quick and easy to exchange it for another one.Purchased in February 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$845.00.

We brought this December 2018 and since December and there’s no traction. It turns on and releases to bubbles like it’s going to start but then nothing. I’ve tried pulling it apart but nothing. Has anyone experienced this? Or know how I fix this issue. Cheers
