Doing a great job.
Bought the tracker from Bunnings sub $500.
Followed the instructions and threw it in the pool. Doing a great job.
Doesn’t like steps but what does.?
Has been scrubbing the walls and the bottom.
Doesn’t mind a few small leaves.
The return vents knock it off the wall but it’s like a terrier keeps coming back and having another go.
Purchased in September 2021 at Bunnings Warehouse for A$480.00.

regret this purchase
I completely regret this purchase, the Tracker want to constantly climb walls, the smallest leaf or debris stop the main wheel and worst of all the wheel stirs up the sediment on the bottom so the pool goes cloudy and completely defeats the purpose of the vacuuming. I have had kreepy krawly for past ten years and the tracker does not come near the performance in any way. Wasted money and now stuck with it. Do not recommend purchasing.

POS do not buy
Bought a barracuda tracker. It went 3m and stopped. Stuffed around for about 6 hours with the pool. Had suction but backwashed. Manually vacuumed again. Backwashed again. Had excellent suction. Barracuda went 2 meters and stopped. Called tech support who said “yer, it’s broke”. Took it back to bunnings for a new one. Second barracuda, with excellent suction went 1/2 meter and stopped. Damn you barracuda! Never again! NEVER!!

Worst vac ever
Got this vac 2 years back, it has never worked well. Seems to suck sticks and leaves and get jammed no problem, but the silt on the pool floor is left behind. Barracuda are also a horrible company to deal with, refused to return contact despite multiple attempts. Steer well clear.

Wish it had worked but alas it was abismal.
Purchased from Bunnings on the 01 Sep 18 tried to get it working for about 5 hours before giving up on it and taking it back for a refund.
It struggled with any debris on the floor of the pool, continually jamming on the smallest of twigs and leaves. Even purchased the Baracuda leaf catcher but it sucked air from around the top seal which caused my pump to go haywire. Removed the leaf catcher to get the Tracker to run but it kept getting jammed by debris.
Oh well it is back to getting a robotic cleaner instead.

Baracuda Tracker is a sub $600 pool cleaner that actually works! Wish I bought two...
Regardless of some bad reviews on the Masters hardware website just before the company went belly-up, they had this pool cleaner reduced to around the $500 mark. I've tried some other cleaners before costing around $200 to $400, plus the so-called "Klever Kleener" but nothing would maintain the pool properly. No cleaner I've owned does thee steeps or sides of the pool properly, so I just sweep these down to the bottom as a routine function with ph checks anyway.
After working out the flow rate regulator (which is thee only reason this prod...Read more
uct didn't get 5 stars), I'm pleasantly surprised how well this little pool cleaner works. It picks up everything including leaves! Out of the 30 or so times I've used it since Maasteer's demise in Adelaide, it jammed twice when a few leaves jammed up the internal impeller. This was a breeze to fix, just uncoil thee hose interface, weigh the hose down (yes, pump is still running) so the pump doesn't get a guts full of air, press open the front catch, clean out the debris, close the flap, sink the pool cleaner back underwater, remove the hose weight, clip on the hose no let it go. The cleaner usually does a double spin, then setts off to clean the pool. No getting stuck on the pool drain in the deep end, actually climbs walls, and doesn't miss a spot since I've added another hose length (9m x 5m pool, approx. 46Kl). Takes about 3 hours to clean 96% of the pool floor but since I run my pump for 6 hours, it's not a major issue. My only regret was failing to buy a second one when the price fell to around $300 so I could have aa spare when this cleaner wears out!! Well, more like kicking myself really hard!!!! Seems to be a clone or a re-badge of the Zodiac MX6, but since I've not bought a MX6, I can't be 100% certain. The flow rate regulator is absolute cramp, as it doesn't cater for a filter clogging up, I used to change the rate from medium to low in accordance to the manual. But after getting fed up with doing that, I found leaving it on thee low flow setting still works just as efficiently, so (to me) that minor issue is solved.Similar opinion? Very Disappointedasked
The robot Comes out of the water when cleaning sides and makes a sucking in air sounds, annoying neighbors. We have changed water level and changed weight positions but this has not fixed the problem.

The tracker will always do that at the surface. Because the drive system works on number of wheel turns. I keep my pool cover on which helps to keep it under the surface.

Our barracuda seems to like sitting at the water level and spinning, sucking in air, and then killing the pump with no water. Is there something I can do to stop this?
