Terrible Service at Cairns Store
Service was terrible, one person outside filling a gas bottle, two customers in shop including myself. The other customer in the shop is talking to a staff member about bbq's. I am waiting at the counter to pay for my goods. The staff member dealing with the customer walks outside to start playing with the gas filling bottles " no actual customers out there getting bottles filled up". I am still waiting. tanding at a counter for 10mins I walked out the store. 3 staff members, two customers but somehow could not find the time to serve me. This Company couldn't care less about customers
I work in this industry i'm an account executive customers are meant to be the heart of any business without customers there is know company. So making sure they are looked after should in my eyes & always be at front of mind.
I Waited for service for 30 minutes not one person came to see if i needed help. I was there to purses some accessories for my BBQ. This is not acceptable as part of management with a large company and supporting our stores . if BBQ Galore is wanting to move forward this issue needs to be addressed because there are plenty of competitors ready and willing to take your customers.

We had exceptional service from Brad at the HomeBase Jindalee store last weekend. Friendly, competent, knowledgeable and happy to go the extra mile in looking up records. This is the sort of stuff that brings customers back.

Don’t go to Nunawading Store
Wish I could give 0 stars! Went to this store to spend up to $2000 on a BBQ. Waited 20 minutes to even be looked at (had to ask if anyone was working there) and staff had no idea about their products. I have plumbed in Gas (natural gas) and after much faffing around they told me I would have to buy all sorts of other conversion kits, different jets etc & would have to get a gas plumber to do all this, they thought - not sure about anything. Great Service
Bought a Ziegler and Brown BBQ and had trouble assembling it, took it back to the Morley Store and they put it together for me. Thank you so much Stuart for your help, would definitely recommend this store.

Pretty poor service
On 25 June 2018, I ordered and paid for an item. After a week it still has not arrived at my local store, and they have no idea where it is or when it is expected to arrive.
Calls to enquiries go unanswered...just a recorded message to leave a message.

Nunawadding store can’t give me what I ordered almost 4 months later
I placed an order for a Traeger grill from bbqs galore nunawadding on the 28th of February 18. Next week it will be 4 months later, I still haven’t received the bbq that I ordered. Not once have they called me first to explain what’s happening. Each time the estimated delivery date has past by a week or two, I call them and they apologise.
Last month I complained to head office about the lack of service. They agreed that it was poor.

Great price for Bottle Gas refills
Went to Barbeque Galores Frankston branch to have 2 x 9 kg bottles filled great friendly service, trolleyed them to the car after filling, and the best price $19.95 for 9kg fill, vastly better price than other just change over places, and as previously found more gas for your buck, not forgetting quick service, well worth recommending.

Warranty issue
Waiting over 4 months to resolve a warranty issue. The claim has been approved but the replacement items have not been delivered 4 months later despite many phone calls. The can’t even give me an expected delivery date. I keep getting told they are moving from one warehouse to another hence the delay. This is not good enough!!

Ordered a Kamado Joe BBQ from BBQ Galore Capalaba IN dec 2017. Long story short... 2 months later they don't still no bbq and no ETA, also ordered the hot plate and grill plate in December 2017. ve kept customers in the loop with the delays, followed up on phone calls as promised and been somewhat compassionate on the phone. Ill add i've been polite to all BBQ galore staff until today, I've called other sites and get told a diffrent story about the eta for delivery. Honestly feel like i've been taken for a ride. Failed to deliver. Inexcusable conduct.
After six weeks wait time I was notified that the table and 12 chairs I ordered were in store and would be delivered the next day. I paid the full amount owed at that time. That evening I received a text message from ANC Couriers together with a reference number stating that delivery would take place between 2-00 pm and 5-00 pm the next day as scheduled. No attempt was made by either party to advise me of this and no attempt was made to make alternative arrangements, It is patently clear that this is a systemic failure in which there is no follow up in executing orders. Surely the storeman at Barbeques Galore would have alerted management that the goods were not collected as scheduled. Surely the ANC CouriersCdriver would have alerted his base that the promised delivery would not take place. Instead I had to chase around trying to ascertain what was going on. Good service in store, but that's where it ended.
Purchased an outdoor setting and a cantilever umbrella on January 13 and was told they would have the items delivered by the second week of February at the latest, then heard nothing. I had paid for the items. I rang them twice and was told each time there was a hold up with the chairs. By the end of February, I was so frustrated, I asked for a refund. mistake I had made. The Boston 7 piece setting is not well made. The four legs have no cross beam support underneath and the tempered glass table top is held in place by plastic suction cups. The glass did not sit flat. There are gaps at each end. It took time to get it all stable enough to use. I fear that if it gets a bump the whole thing could fall and the glass would break. It looks okay, but is really ordinary and is much smaller and no where near the quality of my old setting which is 15 years old. Just right for Me!
I went into Barbeques Galore just for a look. The staff promptly came over and asked how they could be of assistance. I explained that I was just browsing and they engaged in conversation about the things I liked and what things I enjoy. They showed me a Cube coffee table that lights up and changed colours . They were so helpful and sorted out a payment plan for me so I could get my product as quick as possible.

I was promised a bbq two months ago and I’m still waiting. They said it would be a week, DEFINITELY within 2 weeks. Apparently it’s the suppliers fault and not theirs so just too bad for me. Nobody proactively called when there were issues so I’ve been following it up for months and have missed most of summer without it. After 1.5 months waiting I was offered a refund and a $50 “goodwill voucher”, because it’s not their fault but just a gesture of goodwill. Jokers!

Poor service
We bought a Ziegler &a Brown 3 grill BBQ from the Capalaba store, the BBQ works OK but the trolley keeps on loosing a wheel when we move it. We approached the store and was told ( very unpleasantly) to contact Z&B so they could fix the issue within 3 days, we wrote to them 3 times with no answer, so we contacted the customer service where we had to fill out a form wanted a serial No, which is so small we couldn't read it, received confirmation that the email had been received, but still no answer.
So much for customer service on both sides!!!!. Would I recommend BBQ galore Capalaba after this, you be the judge!!!!

From bad to good - Watergardens Store
You can best judge a company and its staff when things go wrong.
The 'Connoisseur 4-burner' BBQ that was sold to us for $599 in November 2017 turned out to be underwhelming. We couldn't get it to produce a decent heat to sear a steak and temperature was very uneven across the grill area. Even for sausages on the hot plate, it was a challenge to find a spot hot enough to get them to sizzle. Swapping regulator and gas bottle didn't help. We were left unhappy and frustrated.

He even organised delivery of the new BBQ and pick-up of the 'tofu warmer'. The Beefmaster we now have develops a decent heat and is of reasonably built quality for its RRP. Connoisseur dies not produce enough heat to sesr steak properly. BBQ Galore not interested in fixing the problem. Currently with NSW Consumer Affairs.
