For a smart tv it's very basic. Can't add anything extra. Has only a couple of us ports and HDMI. Worked ok for the first 13 months, but nothing but trouble since. Tempo that does the warranty stuffed us around with what they said would fix it and once that didn't work, just said sorry as it's more than a week or 2 out of warranty we can't help. So I'm stuck with a tv that won't play Netflix and randomly turns off for no reason. DON'T BUY ONE! Spend the extra on a better brand!!!!

The cheap ALDI 58” Bauhn Ultra HD TV ended up to be costly for me. I should have read the reviews on this site before buying. The TV was rarely used (ie. vitually in “as new” condition). Yet it was broken just after 12 months (warranty expires). Same problems just like so many reviews here: Blank screen (while the sound was still on).

Furthermore, I had the same problem with the other ALDI 32” Bauhn TV, which ceased to work while still under warranty. ALDI arranged for it to be repaired. Then it was broken again within few weeks. So ALDI arranged to give me a replacement TV.

So the advice from me is not to buy this brand of TV due to unusually high rate of failures.

My partner and I were sceptical of buying a cheap Tv from Aldi. Especially because we were replacing a very good brand tv that we already had. After we purchased and setup the tv, we very surprised of how good the picture quality was on the big 75 inch screen.

The only downside on the tv is the software. It seems outdated and sometimes a bit buggy. The app store is limited to very few apps also. Apart from that, we are very happy with the purchase.

I purchased from Aldi Modbury. I got it home, plugged in, hooked up Aerial and programmed it. Perfect picture quality and very much a smart investment. Aldi keeps proving that they are not a seconds shop but the real deal

No issues.
Working as would expect for 1000 TV.
Replaced a 10yr old Samsung Plasma costing 3500.
I find image clear as on Netflix on 4K.
Only downside was kept turning on Yamaha amp with HDMI connection.
Now on optical and all good.

not not not recommended. I regret paying $600 for this. price is cheap but quality is also cheap. too cheap and the image quality is just bad. dont buy it.

Same problem as Raider 70. Got the email support about midday today. Downloaded the fix but nothing happened. TV still bricked. Tempo says it could be another 2 business days for a fix

Had tv for just over 1 month and Netflix and some other apps dont work for longer than a few minutes before the screen goes black and you are taken back to the tvs homescreen.

Purchased 75 inch tv this morning, bit of fine tuning with Foxtel, sound bar and Chromecast, all a ok, scrolling through settings and came across Internet Update Check, started it, watched for a while, turned away, turned back and nothing but black screen, did changing plug sockets, unplugged, still nothing, rang 1300 number at the back of manual, said they had seen I had done a update, will send a email with solution by Monday, fingers crossed

Straight out of the box, went to menu gave it WiFi and checked for SOFTWARE UPDATE and is now BRICKED (this means not turning on) tried power cycling from mains (turn off and unplug) and still bricked. On hold to tempo (Aldi service) and still waiting, after being hung up on the first time
Briefly the TV was pretty good - but now I'm up Shipp Creek as I have to hire another vehicle, and can't get one easily so it's cost me $70.

Aldi TV I purchase needed repairs. I asked Aldi agent Tempo what was the process. Told to send a photo of the faulty part. I did this only to be told by Tempo not once but repeatedly the TV was not faulty. After threating Tempo with a complaint to Consumer Affairs Victoria Tempo finally agreed the TV is broken. Tempo has now agreed to send out a service person to fix it.

I am warning you, do not buy an Aldi TV and expect after-sale service.

Have No idea on how to record TV programs via USB (much less view program back) Manual useless - Tempo "help desk" also clueless Otherwise will have to return it to ALDI.
Can Anyone help ??

Never buy electrical stuff from Aldi again!!!

I love it, very large, feel like a home cinema. The price is great and the quality is top. It comes with warranty and i trust Aldi and its products.

It is a great TV with awesome graphics and the sound isn't to soft. It is a great purchase for the price and I would highly recommend it for anyone else that needs a TV.

Bad customer service said it might not be a warranty issue, i've upgraded software still turns itself off if its not a warranty issue then WHAT IS IT??????? I can't believe this service!!!!
