Best Value for Money 4K TV
Picture Quality is great for the price you pay, you will notice light bleeding on edges in dark scenes! Mine was bought 2 years ago now and still runs fine, though there are reports that they die randomly. Great amount of hdmi ports, no smart tv functionality but I have devices connected to it that give it that functionality! Good Buy!
Purchased in May 2021 at ALDI for A$489.00.

No parts available when it blows up. Steer clear. NEVER AGAIN.
Power board blew up. No parts available. 2+ years old Disappointed My 5th BauhnTV. Repairer told me to buy Samsung or LG as they keep all parts for many years.
Purchased in September 2021 at ALDI for A$1,199.00.

good
I like to watch TV on my big screen. If you like watching movies at home, it's very clear, just like a movie if you buy the surround sound system, I like this model of TV. It is light and easy to move. Its pictures and sounds are perfect. The connection is simple, and we like it. If you ask me, I would definitely recommend this big screen TV.

Never again
Maybe my expectations are too high
Main board needed to be replaced in the first 4 months.
Constant problems with the remote not being picked up by the tv
only two years old and the screen flickers and goes black after intermittently.
Needs the main board replaced again for the same fault but because it’s more than 12 months from purchasing you’re on your own.

firmware problem after 2 years
The TV is good overall. But after sometime it starts going crazy. The firmware becomes unstable after sometime. You need to update the firmware if you can find it. I am still trying to find the software (Bhaun web page does not download). Overall the TV is really good and I was happy with it.

Wouldn't buy again
Wouldn't recommend. Bought two. Picture OK but speaking out of sync with vision. After 2 years started turning itself off when changing source. Same happened with second TV a few months later. Not offered extended warranty like other brands - now know why. Limited inbuilt apps. Difficult to download firmware to correct issues.
Have non smart Bauhn TVs which all operate OK
Notice model has been discontinued. Would never buy this brand again in smart tv

Good buy at the time...for a big tv
Bought this 65" 3 x years ago and its still great to this day ..i think paid $1199 then (its prob come down a fraction) but as a 2nd Tv its great..little biffs would be that its slow to initialize, and between applications/channels and to turn on, the remote buttons bit close to each other and the sound is ok..we bought a sound bar to optimize the sound. Overall looks good and just using it as a TV works well - im not into high tech stuff so it works for me.

Bleeding image around edges
Not a good TV but can't really complain for the price you pay
It's has average looking picture quality. Sound is bad. Needs a sound bar set up or hi find system to compensate
Besides that the screen is huge and would suit a rental property or display unit not for everyday use eg gaming, movies

Perfect size
ALDI had these on sale back in June July and they are a great size but are easy to move around. The picture and sound is so clear and it takes our Apple TV perfectly. We watch Netflix etc. the remote has nice size buttons so easy to use. We actually went back and bought a second TV

Blew up after 17 months
Bought this about 1.5 years ago. Terrible sound, needed soundbar. Remote control needed multiple presses. Video and sound sometimes didn't sync. Played with it because it was cheap, but never been happy. Now it's not long pot of warranty and it blew up...literally. Big bang, then smoke came out of the back. Don't buy this, spend a bit more and get a brand name one.

Honestly you get what you pay for with ALDI
It was advertised that it had many special apps and features, but most of the applications are built in TV Guides and ugly windows that pop up and to show you the weather. The interface when using the remote is very annoying, the remote is very slow with the connection to the TV, and graphics look like a windows 98 computer when you scroll through the app menu. The picture quality is nothing to rave about, it is only 1080i, not even 1080p full HD. But what can you really expect with Aldi, you get what you pay for I guess. But what you're really paying for is a HDTV. Next time I would spend a little more money a buy something like a Samsung TV that will last you years.

Stay away from Bauhn TV's $1199 died 17 months after purchase
I was lured in by the size of this TV, but that's the only good thing about it.
Picture quality was never grealaptop connected via HDMI was very poor quality
Remote was rubbish
Purchased in September 2015 from Aldi and started using it in January 2016, in February 2017 it has just lost picture. That's 13 months of use. Aldi were helpful in escalating my concerns to Tempo the manufacturer, but Tempo didn't want to help at all. I will never buy another BAUHN TV again and warn you to stay away as well. I had previously purchased two other Bauh...Read more

Return it before 12 monty warranty expires!
I bought the 65" 4K TV for $1200 and it has issues where there will be no video and only audio, and then the screen flicks intermittently and repeats itself. Every time it has an episode it goes for 5-10 minutes. I have owned the TV for 4 months and it is doing it more often. Bauhn wanted evidence of the issue so I videoed and sent it to them. They don't have more stock now but Aldi will refund me fully before 12 months is up. you can always buy one and return it every year before the warranty is void but I think better to cough up and buy a Samsung

The TV is fine; just be sure to update the firmware.
After setting up the TV, I noticed that the set would repeatedly shut down when changing past one specific channel.
After updating the firmware via a USB thumb drive (see http://www.bauhn.com.au/65inch-uhd-tv-software-update.html for the firmware file and installation instructions), the problem seems to have been resolved.
Video and audio quality are fine especially when weighed up against the cost of the unit. Overall, I'm satisfied with the product.

With some trepidation but initially happy.
Like most people, you just wonder if it could be that good at that price ($1195).
Our 8-year-old Sony Bravia LCD had been excellent, until it started to turn itself off, just as I had seen these TV's advertised. I reviewed on line and noted a few negative comments about expiring after 2.5 years (but Aldi giving a full refund under Aust Consumer Law) with their Aldi 60 day returns policy, I thought 'why not?' So in we dived (surprisingly one Aldi shop still had them in stock 2 weeks after first seeing them - Creek Road Mt Gravatt East).

best value Tv
I have purchased my 2nd bauhn in past 3 years, first tv lasted 3 years and it was just repaired by me i replaced the capacitors in the power supply as im a qualified tv repairman, now its runs like new and use it as a second tv. (As for the remote it was beyond repair and i reprogrammed a universal remote).
I just bought the 48" ATVU48-1015
Great value for $599 why spend more on other brand tv's your only wasting your money. Most tvs only last enough to get past warranty date. Its the way the industry works now. Keep the spending cycle.
Do yourself a favour and run down to aldi a buy yourself a bauhn's TV "molly meldrum"

65 in Bauhn tv turns itself off after just turning it on
I purchased the Bauhn 65 in Tv a couple of months ago. I had it still in the box as I was moving into my newly built home. I've had it working for 3 days! I turn it on, then it went off whilst I was in the kitchen. I thought that was strange, turned it on, the Bauhn logo comes up, then it turns off again. Anyone have any suggestions? I will ring Bauhn tomorrow to see what is causing this. But I wanted people aware of what I am experiencing as a consumer.

Good budget 65" 4K LCD TV, decent picture needs better sound
This is a somewhat preliminary review of the Aldi Bauhn brand 65" 4K Ultra HD LED LCD TV that was on sale Saturday 12th August at $1199..for those lucky enough to snag one. Reports from several Aldi stores suggest they sold out within minutes. In my local store in Waverley Gardens it was as case of being outside the store 20 minutes before opening time and literally sprinting down the back of the store to snag one.
OK - so what do you get in a $1200 65" LED LCD with 4K Ultra HD resolution I hear you ask?
Bear in mind this review is based...Read more

Don't buy Samsung. Dealing with their customer service team was worse than having root canal treatment. And without resolve.
WOW. I’d heard Samsung were good. Ended up buying TCL from Hardly Normal factory Three year in home Warranty. Plus extra four years new for old replacement if something goes wrong. Hope it blows up a day after it’s third birthday. I’ll get latest model free. LOLZ. TCL is massive company that seems safe from bankruptcy according to Wiki. I’m happy. About to buy three more. EOFY Sale.

all from anyone, unable to speak to anyone at Tempo/Aldi as it says they are inundated. They aren't doing a thing!! After more than a week later, I finally got hold of Tempo, they weren't answering their calls, as I spent hours waiting. I told them I have had no contact from the TV repair man. They gave me the phone number direct. The TV repair man in Geelong werent keen to pick up my TV. They just told me they ordered the part. How can they order a part and not see the TV??? Seems as though many people have had this problem with their Aldi/Tempo TV's. I am not happy with the TV repair man ordering a part when he hasn't seen the TV. He doesn't want to pick up my TV, no date given as to when the part would be in. This is not right.
