Can't sleep without these!
The best headphones I have ever used to sleep on an international flight. The are very comfy and the white noise that they produce cuts out the rumble of the jet engines. You can have the white noise on with it without music and if the batteries die, you can still have just music playing.

Disappointed with new model with rechargable battery
Have old model with normal batteries and it is great. Bought new model for my wife and she complained that it hurt her ears and is uncomfortable as the new model has insufficient padding around the earpiece. Otherwise a great product for the price. Please use the previous design as the depth inside the earpieces is too shallow, resulting in unbearably sore ears.

Does the job
I just purchased this headphone for my upcoming flight trip from Aldi for only $39.
I knew how good it was because my husband bought it last time it was on sale and using for the flight entertainment and I regretted that I didn't bought it. It doesn't cancel baby crying but remove all that annoying hissing noise.

Another great Bauhn product
After using a friend's very expensive noise cancelling head phones, I wasn't sure that a pair costing $39 was going to be of any value. I was wrong, these headphones are great! The sound quality is amazing and the awful background noise in the plane was reduced to a pleasant hum. The rechargeable batteries lasted the whole trip (unlike the expansive model that needed changing a couple of times). The cups are very comfortable even after 10 hours of non stop use.

Great product, sounds is actually really good!
I purchased these headphones a few days ago from Aldi and they are honestly amazing for the small price tag. The sound is as good as my sisters beats headphones! I am amazed. The only downside is I couldn't buy another one as it is only available in Aldi Special buys, every now and again.

I would not buy these again
The main reason why I have decided to buy these headphones in the first place was that at my work place we have very loud classical music and I was trying to find the way how I could cancel the noise! It turns out that these headphones did poor job doing that.

Just purchased two pairs.
Even without noise cancelling these are good 'phones. Listening to music from my mobile phone whilst using my noisy PC they almost completely got rid of the PC drone. In the quiet music pieces there is low level hiss when the NC is turned on but the fidelity is better, if a bit bass shy. With NC turned off there are less HF's and more bass. Overall sound balance without NC is a bit light on in the HF's but still very nice quality. My ears get a bit uncomfortable after awhile but re positioning the 'phones fixes that until I have to move them ag...Read more
ain. First charge took about an hour using my phone mains charger. My wife loves them and uses them with her laptop whilst studying French on line. She says everything is much clearer that the laptop speaker or the old earphones she was using. Next test will be on an aeroplane where I expect they will be very good. Even if you only want to listen to music without the NC feature I consider they are good value.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Very good product at excellent price
Super impressed with these headphones that come with a solid little case. I found the quality of sound exceptionally good for the price, Good fit and very comfortable even when worn constantly on a long haul flight. Shame they are discontinued but I would look for a similiar Brauhn product when they need replacing

Unbeatable for the price
Very good build quality, comfortable fit, very good sound isolation, can't fault the audio. The noise cancelling generates a very soft hum when not listening to audio. However, as soon as you play audio through the headset the hum dissappears.
NOTE: The 2016 noise cancelling head phones are NOT Bluetooth enabled. You either use them cabled for audio (with or without noise cancelling) or you can use them wireless for noise cancelling only.

Fantastic - for the price
I work a lot on my laptop in cafe's. I have had a pair of Bose QC20's for about three years. The Bose are great... but 'oh so fragile'. Even though I baby them, they're starting to show wear and buzz when they get bumped. Frankly, I think that, for $400 you should get more than 3 years out of a product. I've been looking at replacing them with the Bose QC35 ($500 thanks for coming). I asked Bose about replacing the inbuilt battery when it died. They said it can't be done - however they'll kindly give 25% off replacements. Ok - so, once again, I...Read more
'm thinking it's $400 for 3 years of use. About a month ago, I bought these Bauhn cans from Aldi. I've been mowing the lawn with them... and they're great!! Today is my first day in a cafe using them instead of the Bose. Sure - when you turn them on, you don't get the instant drop in sound that you get from the Bose. It drops, but not quite as much. However, with music playing (at a low volume) they're doing more than an adequate job at hushing the cafe din! What's more (and I'm a bit of an audiophile), the sound quality is great! Quite surprising actually! The bass response is solid and the highs well placed. So - the bottom line is, no, they're not Bose.... but they're $360 cheaper than the (wired) QC25s... and, they're doing the job surprisingly well. With Bose, you're paying a stack for the name. They know that... and they don't care because the cashed up folks up the pointy end of the plane are paying it. For the rest of us, these are a more than adequate option. On the off chance that the engineers who built these are reading - great job!Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Excellent
These are from Aldi so you can't just go out and buy a pair but compared to the big name branded noise cancelling head sets I doubt anyone could really tell the difference. At $40 they are way more cost effective. They are bigger than most and when I was responsible for all three I ditched the covers and defaulted to just a pair of standard earbuds for myself. I've since bought an expensive pair of noise cancelling earbuds and can't tell the difference.

Fantastic value and quality sound
These are still available. I like good music and more bass in my balance. I read the reviews on this site and thought that I would risk $40 and if no good I could give them away. No chance. They are brilliant. I love the R and L in big print - no more looking for a small icon on the side to see which ear is which. They paired speedily with i pad and laptop via blue tooth. Voice messages for on and off and pairing. Comfortable to wear. Easy to adjust. And superb sound. Works on your iphone as well to take calls.

Perfect for the price
bought them from Aldi for $39.9 . The cushion and material is really good. The drivers are pretty big and has a fancy green color inside .
The sound quality is good with noise cancelling switched on, I use them in office and it does cut low frequencies though not my colleagues high pitch :-)
There is enough bass,I use power amp on my Android ..with normal settings bass is good, treble is decent but I feel the mids are lacking.Overall am very happy with the purchase

Great value - very satisfied
For an economical pair of cans, I think these are great! Not perfect, but better than a name brand pair I bought last time. These decrease background noise by about half, they are comfortable to wear, the sound quality is very good and I especially like the carry case. If you don't want to waste your money, go ahead and buy these!

Good product
Bought them on special for $39 and they work just as good if not better than my mates $250 pair and they come with an airline adaptor too. In my opinion a good buy and good value for money. Also has a three year warranty which is a bonus.

in perspective, hard to fault At All
I have Parrot zik 2.0, and these might sound better. Or almost. Or Close too. Or...
Look they don't have bluetooth and they're more 'on' ear cans than off. For me, I have them so the bottom half of my ear is In and the top 1/4 of my ear is under (er...making it, 'on' for the top quarter)(eh, maths)
And despite hating on-ear cans (My Marleys hardly get used), I am never not comfortable with these on.
Good weight
Good sound
Decent ANC - in this, it does everything the big boys do, but compared to my bros. S/Comfort 25s, it's not As strong effect.
Good foldy-swivelly factor for those for whom that is important
There is only 1.5 cons. Not even. 1.4 cons against it

Great sound
Bought today ay Aldi for $19.99, so good had to buy a more so the kids could share. Adjustable fitting, foldable with good build quality, but what is the real winner is the sound quality and deep bass, they also seem to cut external noise out very well. Only disappointment was that they the don't have a microphone and volume button on the auxiliary cable, so you can use with your mobile.

Bauhn Auricle headphones. item no: 49430
Just bought these at Aldi for $39.95.... Sure a lot of people rubbish Aldi products and I have had my fair share of some dud electronics but for me these are awesome. I can't wait to use them on a flight somewhere.
The built in battery charges quite quick via USB and once the switch is on it does make a difference. It is also quite noticeable when listening to music as there is a big difference on and off.
I also like the fact that these still work while charging which is a bonus especially on a plane with a USB socket in the seat back so...Read more

Questions & Answers
Hai D.asked
The headband is broken how can I got one for replacement?
1 answer
hi, Hai D.
my headphone band is also been breaking, but I've put some duct tape around it so it won't fall off. I recommend doing that or using glue, e.g. hot glue / super glue. if you've done those two things, then I recommend always carrying it in the case it has come with since not carrying it in the case could be a possible reason for damage.

How do I tune them in to my hearing aids?
