Both control boards went $495 quote to repair
We bought the machine end of 2016. Betta electrical told us that up til now he wouldn't recommend their machines but they now have been upgraded and are much more reliable. Bought this one for the pet hair removal option, used it once and that function never worked again. Didn't bother getting that fixed. A few weeks ago it wouldn't start. Got the quote today. Both control boards have gone at a replacement cost of $495.
Previously owned Electrolux front loaders and got over 5 years out of each of those and they were a lot less expensive. Beko not a brand I would buy again
Purchased in October 2021 at Betta Home Living.

Beko 9kg Front Loader
The 9kg washing machine came with a 5 year Manufacturers Warranty which was a great selling point. There was a lot of optimism in our laundry and confidence that we were covered if the washing machine failed. The problem is that the washing machine cannot be quickly and easily fixed. I probably would not have bought this product if I had known how long it would take for the replacement parts to be delivered to Sydney when the machine stopped working. The time consuming visits to the laundromat in the interim and needing someone to be home for t...Read more
he block of time for each inspection and repair do concern me as we embark on this 5 year arrangement with Beko. I certainly hope that this will be the first and last problem with this washing machine.
Purchased in March 2021.

A well priced washer that’s gets the job done.
Okay so I’ve had the washer for 2 years now and has been problem free. It’s extrekely quiet so we can run it even with the toddler napping in a small house. Although I must say we previously had a Bosch front loader which seemed to clean the clothes more efficiently. Aside from the longer cycles required all in all it is ver well priced and does the job. And so far problem free.
Purchased in January 2021 at Kambos for $699.00.

Beko 9kg Front Loader, good but not great
This being the 1st front loader we have ever owned, drawing on previous experience is limited to the use of family and friends machines. Bought through Appliances Online; very prompt good experience from them. Only hiccup was the delivery guys didn't level machine properly.....VERY important step with a f/ldr; easy to do, just get a spirit level, level across front and front to back. All 4 feet are easily adjustable by hand. 5 year warranty from manufacturer (2 years standard, 3 additional yrs once reg online) does give some piece of mind. Wash...Read more
er is simple to use and very straight forward. Only requires cold tap as washer heats water; heating can be turned off for every wash if desired. Wash cycles are pretty clear, although some seem overly lengthy imo. Detergent dispenser could be better, especially for powder, seems fine for liquid soap. Generally machine seems quiet and smooth, with no issues 6 months in. Loader door could be a bit firmer and opening lock mechanism could be improved as feels flimsy. The one thing I would like Beko to change is the lock-out time when cycle finishes (around 1 minute); if this is needed at all, surely 10-15 seconds would be enough? Day to day clothes etc come out pretty clean with few lint etc issues, although not sure how it will perform on heavily soiled items. Overall good machine and have recommended to others who seem happy as well.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!
Great washing machine
I’ve washed everything from everyday clothes - jeans, shirts, underwear, jumpers, to large blankets, bath mats, towels etc. The machine does a good job on all of these items. It has never damaged anything. I mainly use the 14 minute cycle. For most articles, this cycle is good enough. The only thing I think could be improved, is the buttons have to be pushed quite hard to start the machine

Love this machine machine
Cannot fault this machine using it in a laundry cupboard it’s very quite has a good range of washing cycles and is very easy to use. I often us 60 degree quick wash which is 58 min. It has bedding special cycles and hand wash cycle.
With 2 kids am very pleased at how much washing I can get done in one cycle.

Very happy with it
We are 2 and half years in with this machine. It does its job and we are very happy with the quick wash option. We do have occasional problems with detergent not dissolving (mostly in winter) and the spinning needs to be done again especially when using quick wash with heavy loads. Nothing major so far.

Great for price!
I had never heard of this brand until I had to urgently replace my old washing machine. Picked this up on sale and am quite pleased. The settings are easy to control. Every now and then it does need to be reset (the settings display) because it locks up, but this is easy to do. Fairly quiet and doesn't move too much when running.

Fair Dinkum. A condom killed my washing machine! DO NOT BUY!
Fair dinkum a condom killed my washing machine! Read till the end.
I bought this washing machine after my Simpson 7 kg front loader died after 20'years of exceptional performance. It had a good life and always washed my work wear, rugby gear and clothes clean. I didn't bother with a repairer as it was a probably a terminal ending fault.
After doing a considerable amount of research we ended up buying a Beko 9kg front loader.
I was initially impressesed by how clean and dry, my wash would finish. In comparison to the old Simpson the 1400 r...Read more
pm spin cycle would almost spin the clothes dry! When you are living in Tasmania and the clothes are virtually spun dry it means they have to spend less time on the clothes line to dry, given our short days and inclement weather thus is fantastic. Where this front loader fails is : - it has a lack of quick functions. The average wash cycle is over 2 hrs! A top loaders majority of washes are finished in under an hour. Front loaders are meant to be water and energy efficient in comparison to top loaders, but at over 2 hours per cycle, your washing machine will be operating for over half the day, for a family of 5 and consuming a fair share of peak power. Thus any energy and environmental savings you are likely to make will be lost. - and this is the crux. A condom killed my washing machine because there is no filter. This is hilarious, (if it didn't happen to you) and yet sad. We have three children and I haven't had the snip snipSimilar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Pretty disappointed
Bought this on suggestion from the salesman. It is the first time I have had a front loader and based on this machine I doubt if I would buy another. It washes ok but the towels come out very very hard. I have tried fabric softeners and other home remedies but to now avail. The clothes also seem to come out more wrinkled than in the three previous top loaders I have had. The on off button on the machine is also temperamental. I often have to push it several times to get it to start.
