Our buying guide will explain which type of washing machine would suit you most, how much you can expect to pay for one, and which features are worth looking out for.
Great washing machine
I’ve washed everything from everyday clothes - jeans, shirts, underwear, jumpers, to large blankets, bath mats, towels etc. The machine does a good job on all of these items. It has never damaged anything. I mainly use the 14 minute cycle. For most articles, this cycle is good enough. The only thing I think could be improved, is the buttons have to be pushed quite hard to start the machine

Good wash programs and load size
This was a great buy for a large family we fill up the washer full each wash and everything comes ou super clean each and every time! Very little use of soap too. The programs are easy to select and have an option for all kinds of cloths including for our kids

Great machine.
Looks great and performs well. Is compact enough for a small apartment but big enough for family use. Functions are easy to understand and all wash cycles are explained in the instructions but are pretty self explanatory by their names. Can be noisy on 1400rpm, but great value for the money and quality of machine!!

Perfect all rounder
This is an awesome machine, we’ve had ours for 3 yrs and it’s not missed a beat, clean clothes every time, looks pretty, it’s uk made so you know it will las for a long time, it doesn’t use your hot water, heats itself up, so no worry’s with using your hot water tank, best machine I’ve bought in a long time !

Excellent value for 8kg machine
I bought this machine almost a year ago to replace a Samsung front loader which I'd used for over 5 years with no problems. I got an excellent deal from Appliances on Line $538 and free delivery. I like the extra fast spin speed 1400rpm and other features that weren't available on the Samsung, it is also much quieter than previous machines.
If I could find a fault I would like a warning beep when it finishes washing and also when it starts, otherwise I can recommend it.

We've had this for a few years and been really impressed with how well it washes our cloths considering the load it takes being just under 9kl which is loads of cloths and heaps of sheets and Beding. Great option to have for large family's too that want to do a large super wash

Solid washing machine
We've had this for several months now. It performs well, no issues whatsoever. However, I'm just personally not a fan of the plastic buttons (a little wobbly), and sometimes I wish there was feedback when I've held the start button long enough. Also, I'm not sure why it happens, but in this time, there have been two times where it seems ready to open, but it's still locked.
I think this product does a good job washing because when I emptied out the bottom for drainage and cleaning, there was no soap residue buildup. That in itself is worth quite a bit.

Another Great BEKO product
Another great Beko product to add to my oven cooktop and dishwasher.
All the functions you would expect from a standard washing machine.
Has an animal fur catching technology which works well when you have pets.
No complaints from the Boss who uses the unit a lot (5kids).
very Happy with our Purchase and at a cheap price point for an 8Kg unit.

Good washer
Purchased as had a similar one and the lock broke on door, and decided to spend extra on a new one other than waiting for door to be fixed, plus Jb took the old one away. Always good clean washing. Pet hair removal function not really that good. I've leveled it a few times but it still vibrates when spinning.

The hair removal function is hopeless
I got the machine three years ago, not sure about the model since I can’t find the manual. The machine still runs, but sometimes it doesn’t start washing after I changed the settings. I feel the pragram is faulty. And I bought it because it claims it can remove pet hair, I just got a puppy this year, and I started to realize that only few setting has this function, and the hair removal result is not good.

Illegal trade practices and shocking customer service
Loved my Beko machine - I raved about it to everyone. After 3 years, a spring in the door has broken so it won't open. I called Beko and asked for them to send someone out under statutory warranty, as this is a "major fault" (you know most washing machines require an opening to use successfully), and a $1k machine should last more than 3 years under mandatory statutory Australian warranty. I was told, and I kid you not, "the door is a moving part so it's not covered, as you use it." I explained very patiently that I did in fact purchase the was...Read more
hing machine to use it, here's the funny part, as a washing machine. I then explained that this advice was in fact illegal under trade practices law. The "customer service" person actually giggled at me and said "okay!". I was told I'd need an assessment at my own cost of $189 from a separate contractor company (who later confirmed this was non-refundable for warranty claims and did not include parts). I asked to speak to a manager, was told he was busy and would call me back, and guess what, a week later he hasn't so they must be pretty busy with other broken products and fighting legitimate claims in small claims court. I'd never purchase a Beko again.Similar opinion? Write a review on ieatwords.com.au!

Had s/man out twice in 10 months for same reason. Water left in clothes and leaking underneath machine. Now it’s happening again.
I was using 3/4 cap detergent. He told me to reduce it to 1/2. I did. The next s/man suggested I use 1/3 cap of recommended Dynamo. I did. Problem returned. As I don’t do manual work and being female I
find I only need my clothes freshened up and a quick wash is sufficient for my needs. Now this s/man says I shouldn’t use the 19 min quick wash as it doesn’t give all the suds time to release. Meaning

Great machine
Pet hair removal option is brilliant. Not an ounce of hair left on clothes. Love it. Also has a 28 minute quick wash...again, great for lightly soiled clothes. Lots of wash cycle options. Pet hair removal isn't available on all wash options, but great on wash cycles it is available on (mix 40, synthetics, cotton). Machine cleans well, quiet and efficient. Large enough to take king underlay or queen quilt. 2 year warranty extended to 5 years (current promotion for registering within 90 days of purchase) & 10 year warranty on motor. Love this machine. Would recommend to anyone looking for new front load washing machine.

Does what its meant to
First time i have owned a front loader and chose it as it has the pet hair removal wash and few other wash options I'm yet to use. The quick daily 25min is ok for NON dirty/soiled clothing i would more recommend that wash for your towels and use the aqua40 or 40/40 wash for daily use as its a normal 40min wash cycle till done. Only downfall I'm finding is i put softener in its reservoir at the start same as powder as directed by instructions yet the softener slowly exits out over the first wash cycle it does not have a mechanical seal of some k...Read more
ind to auto release and it needs it or you got to oray you don't miss the rinse cycle to add it i think that's why there so many bad reviews on 'cloths have no smell unless use softener excessively' as it dam enters in the first wash with ya dirt n stuff..?..Similar opinion? Good machine for the price
Bought about two years ago from recommendation. Would say it's a good machine for the price you pay. Great short cycle's for short washes however some do range over an hour. The only downfall is the clothes do not smell like they have been washed until you use expensive fabric softener.

Had a few minor issues
The led indicator seems to be playing around sometimes works other times is blank. The cold water pipe was bent on install and now sticks up but the washing machine still works. It hasn't removed normal day stains and has left powder like grit over some cloths and it has rattled around the floor a few times too

Piece of crap
Just over two years I have had it and nothing but trouble! The leveller ends up needing replacing and water won’t drain from it. Days and days without a washing machine constantly waiting for the piece of crap to be fixed. Would never ever by beko again! Pet hair removal is a fad also as it takes forever and doesn’t remove it all! Do a short wash and chuck them in the dryer instead!

My washing machine has stopped working. The display panel lights up and I press start but nothing happens. I have had the machine for 3 years, I was washing towels today and for some reason it threw a fuse in the power box mid cycle. I have switched it back on but now I have the above problem. Is there a re set button combo I could try like in other models? Mine is the WMY7046LB2.
Thank you.

Hi Milly I had my machine for 18 months. Ever since I bought it I had issues. It was shattering, and leaking as well.
They sent a technician and he said I may put too much washing powder. I reduced the amount of washing powder I use. Still it was shattering. He came back and said the floor is not leveled. He took the machine and tested for few days came back and said no fault found. He used my own rubber mat to put underneath and said he would come back with rubber foot year ago. I'm still waiting. In the mean time I made a complaint someone from Beko called me but they didn't help. He said im doing something wrong. The only reason they called me, on the feed back it says if they don't get back to me within two business days the feedback goes on public.
My machine is still leaking and shattering after following all the troubleshooting they provided me.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BRAND TO ANY ONE.
Milly Please raise a complaint although it 3 years old, it should be covered under ACL.
Good Luck
Regards
Lorchi
Hi Milly, sounds similar to what ours was doing. Seemed like the machine wasn't recognising that the door was closed and that it could now start. Sent it in expecting them to say we need a new door lock instead got told it was the PC board and main board quoting us $495. It was also just on 3 years old. Beko didn't respond on product review at all. Betta just told me it was out of warranty. Counted our losses and bought a secondhand Samsung. Best decision ever! So much quieter and works great.
Didn't realize how flimsy and loud the Beko was until replacing with a Samsung

My washing machine has stopped working midway through a cycle. The power box threw a fuse. I have switched it back on and the machine lights up on the display panel but won't actually start. Is there a re set trick or something I can try. Troubleshooting guide in manual didn't mention anything.
Thanks
